worked by himself. He came to meet me the day after I called him and started on the work a short time later. I gave him a budget and told him sort of what I had in mind. We were landscaping an arts and crafts bungalow so I did a little research and gave him a list of plants appropriate to the period as well as a couple of pictures to give him an idea of the look I wanted and then he chose the plants. He was patient with me when I asked him to change to outline of the path we were experimenting with. My budget didn't allow as many plants as might have been ideal but

made suggestions for adding some hostas, etc. that I can get from a friend. He seemed happy to implement my ideas for the landscape plan so it's hard for me to know whether he has strong ideas about design. Very nice guy to work with."
