"The only problem we experienced was that because they had so many jobs lined up for ceiling repairs because of the hard winter and recent rains, they weren't able to get started on our work for more than a month after our initial contact and we got ...more their estimate. They were very good at their work including preparation of the work area before sanding the plaster and painting, and clean-up after the work was done. Actually I think they found more cracks than I thought and just included them right in with the rest of the job. That also required a bit more painting. Their work was superb. "

supervised the job, was often in communication with me, and was a pleasure to do business with. He is knowledgeable about classic plaster work and the American Clay products. The work took a little longer than expected due ...more to unforeseen circumstances (product glitch with one of the color tints), but Dilin made me aware of the situation immediately and included me in finding a solution. It required more effort on their part, but no extra cost to me because it was a change in the product line that caused the issue. The guys did substantial amount of work, but the results are stunning! "

Grand Rapids Drywall Contractors Reviews
came out to the house and was very pleasant to deal with. We went through various items for him to bid on and he set the clear expectation that he'd reach out to us by the in 48-72 hours with pricing. It's been 10 days and we have not heard a thing. Not following through on something as
as ...more an estimate where clear expectations were set is not only a waste of our time, but a red-flag of what might be to come if we decided to do work with
"Contractor returned my initial call promptly. They set up an appointment to review the job and quoted a price within 24 hours. We hired them and they fit us into their schedule and repaired the damaged walls in a very timely manner. Extremely pleased with the finished product and the interaction with this contractor. Would definitely recommend them.
"It went great. They did most of the work on a Monday and then came back two days later to sand and clean-up. The ceiling looks great and the wall is much better off. They were on time, very professional, and easy to work with.
"It took a little longer to do the job. They were scheduled to start on a Thursday. I took the morning off to meet up with them. Thy showed up two hours late, but did call to say they would be late. They didn't end up starting until Friday. I came home that Friday after work to find they had smoked in my upstairs. They also left an empty cup with ...more their cigarette butts in it for me to find.
I asked them the next day to not smoke in the house. They obliged, but proceeded to use my backyard as their ashtray. Their were cigarette butts littered all over the yard.
Another issue I had with them was with the foul language. I haven't heard that much swearing since I watched
The overall work was decent. However, their ability to clean up after themselves was pathetic. They left my deck and kitchen floor with a nasty white film. As far as cleaning up upstairs, I provided a shop vac and it was rarely used. There's still
dust all over my wood stairs.
As it sits, I would shop around in hopes to find a more professional company. However, if I had to, I'd use them again in a pinch. I just wouldn't have as high of expectations. "
"Went very well. The flat roof area had been "repaired " 2 yrs. ago, but the repair was not done correctly, as the flat
sagged in the middle and water collected and leaked into the walls. The company that did the repair work has since gone out of business.
the roof guy did an excellent ...more job, removed the failed flat roof repair, put heavyweight rubber sealing material down & sealed it, and actually reconfigured the roof so it slopes and doesn't collect water. That part of the job was about $1600.
The plaster job turned out more complicated because when the old plaster was removed furry mold was found on the wall. Portions of the wood also were wet, and had to be removed/replaced. New drywall was put up over more than half of the wall, and the ceiling was repaired/ replastered. The work was done efficiently, professionally, and looks great.
(the drywall guy) was great, as was his boss
. I am very pleased with the work they did and would highly recommend them."
to estimate a few water damage holes in our ceiling resulting from some water leaking from and upstairs bathroom, and also from the previous homeowner's botched attempt at trying to fix water damage. We were quite happy with the $285 estimate to fix these eyesores. This work also involved working with a coved ceiling, ...more so most of the work involved damage in a coved area.
was here working on that project we asked him to estimate another project we had been contemplating. He suggested a carpenter that came right out to estimate the work that was carpentry, and also a painter to finish everything up.
The second job involved tearing out some built-in cabinetry under a stairwell and drywalling everything back up to look like the cabinets (also eyesores) had never been there. Also, we had arches put in to two previously squared entry-ways. This also involved the carpenter to build the arches with
following up to finish everything off. This is where the additional $500 cost came in. It was well worth it.
and plaster projects done, 5 eyesores gone, on time and on budget. Can't really ask for much more.
I should also mention that they are very professional and they know plaster and
. If you need carpentry and paint, they can hook you up with some good people too. Also, the $800 total for the jobs above did not include the cost of the carpentry or painting, just the cost of all of the
