" has a wonderful way with dogs and people. She uses strictly positive methods and trains you to train your dog. The puppy class gave my dog" much needed socialization with other dogs and she gave hints on house behavior along with starting basic commands like sit, down and come.

" is owned and operated by CPDT- . We got a new puppy last spring and after several less than" stellar experiences with so-called dog trainers in the past, I called and asked to observe one of her puppy classes (held at a local veterinarian's office). She immediately agreed and invited me to observe both her puppy class and a dog manners class. I could see immediately that the dogs and their owners were comfortable with her methods (very positive) and enjoying their learning experiences. I signed our puppy up for her Tails on the Trails Class that met in area for 6 weeks. totally individualized her instruction so that each dog and its owner were success at their own varying levels of development. That class was so much fun that we signed up for her second walking class later in the summer. is very conscientious and all classes started and ended on time. When a class was canceled due to extremely bad weather conditions, made sure that everyone received an informational phone call, email and FB message. In October, we attended her Doggy Manners class at a local veterinarian's office. again evaluated all the participants and structured her classes to meet their needs. She continues to adjust her curriculum so that each dog (and owner) can succeed. At the end of each session, emails a 'recap' to her students, which precludes the need to try and take notes while working in class with a dog. She also does a monthly training blog and maintains an up-to-date website. If you are looking for a positive and worthwhile experience, is the way to go.

Animal Training reviews in Grand Rapids

is the only place I would bring my pets. Dr. Vander Wall is one of the veteranerians there and is an incredible person! She, along with all of the vet techs and front desk personell are extremely caring and compassionate. They recognize the faces of the clients and patients that walk in the door each and every time. Dr. Vander ...More Wall has offered on numerous occasions to come in on her day off or stay late to accomodate scheduling and ensure that she, personally, follows through with cases that she starts. It is truly an amazing organization.
