"The contractor arrived on time and was very professional. He even moved a bed to access the area that needed to be worked on. He came in removed the old and broken piece and replaced it with a new and even better fashioned sill. He also caulked around some exterior windows that he noticed needed some attention. 's. HOWEVER, the caulk cures with an awful smell and the job cost more than it should have (when evaluating the competition)."

"They were on time. They delivered by the time they promised. They cleaned up behind themselves. The workers were friendly. They were easy to get a hold of at the initial phone call."

Detroit Window Installers Reviews

"Did the usual haggling with the salesman who went down $50 from the original quote. Work crew arrived on date scheduled and stayed for about 3 hours as estimated. Crew did an excellent job and was very polite. I inspected each window from insided and outside the house and was completely satisfied. Crew cleaned up afterward and removed old windows from premises. Be prepared for a LOT of noise. Here is an important tip. I had

put in windows previously. After install there was a strip of raw wood on each side of the windows that had been put in and had to be painted or stained (by the customer) to match the existing woodwork. This was a bit of a hassle as I had to find paint and stain to match. When I had windows put in this time, salesman requested an outside install because I have really nice woodwork framing the living room windows and shutters on the inside windows upstairs. This eliminated the need for that raw wood on the windows so no repainting or staining was needed.

"I felt very good about the work that this company did. I am very pleased with how the windows were installed and how tight they are sealed. It will definitely help improve my energy bills this winter. They measured for the windows and took care of ordering them, as well, which made it more convenient for me."

"I was very dissatisfied with the work this company did. First of all, unbeknownst to me, they hired out a sub contractor to do the work that day and they couldn't leave fast enough. This meant I wasn t sure about the license and the insurance they had, and when I confronted the customer service representative at their office, I was rudely cut off and told there was nothing in my contract that didn t specify they could do this. I was upset at the trash they left around the house and also the fact that they didn t put back on the security bars they took off. All in all I

himself returned my first call within 30 minutes and came as scheduled, twice, to measure & re-measure windows & doors and show me a finished sample. His two workmen were VERY professional, very experienced and skilled, knowledgeable, punctual, organized, honest, respectful, careful with my furniture and lawn, worked well with each other, friendly, excellent clean-up. They took care to show me how to lock & clean the new windows. This was a non-standard & extremely difficult job, and they did excellent work. I am thrilled, and will use them again next year for upstairs work."

are jerks! They don't follow up on jobs. Had to have them come out twice. Terrible job. Follow though was an f. City inspection told smoke detectors were missing."

"They made it a point to be respectful of my things by moving furniture and laying out tarps. They had really measured the molding twice before they cut it. The windows are wonderful and the whole room is warmer now."
B
"The service that they provide is fine. All of my windows have been set up very nicely. They were very understanding and honest with me. They finished on time and did a wonderful job."
