"We have two indoor/outdoor kitties that were wandering too much, an 18 year old kitty with seizures, and a super shy kitty who was terrified of strangers. We knew" the cats needed more attention than we could provide while working long hours in downtown Seattle, so we asked our vet and they recommneded
. I called and the owner came out to meet us right away. As another reviewer stated, she came prepared with an exhaustive list of questions about the cats and all of her business paperwork in order. We interviewed a couple of other services, but there isn't anyone else on the east side providing this level of daily service. we've been working with them for 4 months or so and since then, the
ladies have become quite close to our kitties, even the shy one, which is amazing. They genuinely love all 4 of our cats and appreciate each of them for their individual personalities. During their daily visits, they walk the house, make sure the food/water dishes are ok, clean all 4 catboxes, play with the young kitties, give kitty treats, special one on one attention to each of them. We get a daily email letting us know where the cats are, what they are doing, any funny things they did or oddities in their behavior. The cats are much happier in general. The indoor/outdoor kittes stay around the house more, the shy kitty is coming out of her shell and beginning to approach strangers, and the elderly kitty is loving the extra special attention. Once, while we were out of town, one of the cats came home with an eye injury and the
sitter noticed it right away, called us, took him in to the vet, gave him his eye drops 2xday, and he was well on his way to recovery by the time we got home from our trip. They know our cats so well now, we don't worry about them when we have to be gone. Also, since they're there every weekday, they often end up receiving packages for us and helping with questions that come up when our housekeeper is there. They don't just rush in and out to clean boxes and throw down some food, they spend quality time with the cats. They really are a part of our cats' extended family. I would highly recommend them.

"
Grant has taken care of my animals, two dogs and two cats, for a number of years. They absolutely love her. She makes time to sit with them" and love them when she comes. She keeps the catbox and yard spotless. When one dog became quite elderly, she spent extra time with him and visited him before he died. I have had sick pets while I am on vacation.
administers all medications and cleans up any messes they make. I do not worry about my animals at all when I am gone. I recommend
with no reservations.

is great with my three little dogs. She's attentive to their needs, plays with them and lets me know if she sees anything I need to be aware of regarding them.
She comes daily at the time I have asked and leaves me a note and often a text as to what they all did.
My dogs love her.I recommend

, the owners, came to our house to speak with us and review our needs. They were down to earth, professional, and very pleasant. Like old friends that you haven't seen for a while. We gave them our alarm's security code, showed them where we kept the cat litter (and related incidentals) as well as the cat food, and who to contact in case of emergency. It couldn't have gone more smoothly or better.

is a wonderful petsitting company with great petsitters. It's easy to make a reservation (using their online form), and they are prompt in responding. If there is going to be a delay, they let their customers know. They also remind their customers to book early during the busy seasons (such as Thanksgiving and Christmas). During their visit, the petsitter leaves a note (per session) detailing how the cats responded to their visit, how they ate/played, and whatever else the petsitter did (e.g. clean the cat litter, played with the cat, etc.). These notes are very helpful in assessing the petsitting upon my return. In the event of emergency or if one of my cats doesn't seem well, they reach out to me immediately (by cell or email) to let me know. Since one of my cats has a medical condition and he can't eat dry food, knowing that
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
can stop by twice a day to feed, play and check on them, allows me to focus on my trip. It's also better for my cats, and less stressful, for them to stay in our home while I'm away. I trust
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
to take care of my cats while I'm away. Cost varies on how many days I need them to stop by, but it's usually $20-25 per session.

I have 3 big dogs and she does a good job. I have called a couple of times on short notice and she comes. If she is going to be unavailable for some time she lets me know. I have already recommended them to some neighbors too.

JnJ has been taking care of our cats on and off for a few years. We have used them around 10 times. There have been issues with them in the past but they always seem to have a good excuse so I have always let it slide and given them the benefit of the doubt, but now I know that they cannot be trusted.
This long weekend they were asked to come in once a day (I asked them to please come by during the morning) for three days in a row to clean out the litter box and make sure the cats had enough food and water, and spend some time playing with the cats. JnJ did not come two of the three days they were paid to come! I did not receive any phone call from them letting me know that they were unable to fulfill the duties they were hired to do. Today at 3:30 pm I came home from a ski trip to see that my cats' water was empty, absolutely no food in their bowls, and the litterbox was totally full of feces and urine. I texted them to say that we just arrived home and that the cats bowl was empty and I got a text back saying that
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
had sprained her ankle and was in the ER and couldn't come this morning. (Side note- this was NOT the first time this has happened! one time in the past I came home to see that the cats food bowls were never put down. they were left on the counter. I was told that one of them got bit by a great
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
and she was frazzled and forgot to put food out for the cats. Another time I came home to empty cat food bowls and was told that they did in fact come that morning, the cats must have finished all the food, which is not possible for my cats to do in that short time frame) When
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
told me that she was in the "ER", I asked her why
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
did not come by to take care of the cats, and she said that
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
had spent all day in the ER with
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
. To me, a grown woman should be able to be in the ER with a sprained ankle for a little while by herself, while her partner comes to take care of animals that they are being paid to take care of.
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
should have come by to cover for her, or they should have at least let me know so I could get a friend to come by to feed my pets in their absence.
The thing that really gets me is that
Detroit Pet And House Sitters Provider Name Locked
ltold me that she HAD come the day before, but was just unable to come today. I checked my ADT alarm system logs and NO ONE had entered or exited my house at all the day prior. I was lied to, and my cats went two days without being fed! This is not someone you should trust with your animals. They are not reliable, and have been caught in a lie.
