"They were punctual, polite and efficient. They are good at offering the scope of their work on the front end, so you can plan accordingly. This is probably the least the 4th time they've done work for us.

"I went to bed last night with my upstairs colder than the rest of my house. When I woke this morning it was even colder. I called one company to come out and take a look and they said they were scheduling at the earliest on Friday! When I called Comfort Temperature Control they said they would send someone over in as early as an hour and a half. An hour later I get a phone call that they are 15 minutes away!! I was so impressed.

came to the house, put booties on, and asked me the problem. After my explanation we went to the basement to check out the boiler. He spent some time figuring out the system and then asked to see where the hissing sound I was hearing was coming from.
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
did an excellent job explaining everything that was going on and what needed to be done. We were both relieved that it was not a frozen pipe, but just needed to be bled.
While having a heating guy in my house, and knowing that I was going to be charged quite a bit for a 15 minutes fix I asked him a few other questions about the boiler and my heating system. We discussed zoning the house (it's all on one) and how much that might cost. And he adjusted a butterfly valve to try and control the overheating of the top floor.
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
also, talked me through how to bleed the system myself should it happen again and offered to do it over the phone or come back if I had any other issues.
In less than an hour he was out the door and I had heat upstairs again.
The only reason I gave them a B on price, was because they have to charge "by the book" and the diagnosis was $89, while the actual "repair" was $139. A bit steep for turning a few valves and a fifteen minute fix.
I would definitely call them back if I have more issues.

"Our furnace broke down and was blowing cool air during the polar vortex. Based on Angie's List we called

-
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
arrived on the scene in less than 2 hours.
To clarify, I know nothing of overtime pricing for furnace calls on Sundays, so I have no idea what is reasonable.
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was great, he was at our house for less than an hour. The part he replaced (the limiter) cost $77. So with the part, labor and Angie's list $20 off we paid $245. Pricey for us, but it was a Sunday.

"I've been renovating a house, dealing with many contractors and
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
/ACC was top notch. I was able to share a photo of the problem with
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and he knew right away the solution. He made an effort to squeeze me in as I was going out of town in a couple of days. He installed an expensive air valve off the boiler and showed me a few other elements to keep an eye on. Great work.

"After hearing that I needed a new furnace from Family Heating, Cooling and Electric I continued my
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
on Angie’s List when I came across C&C Heating. The dispatcher was pleasant and professional. She setup an appointment with a serviceman for the next day. On Tues December 10th the serviceman arrived about 9:30 AM and left his card because I did not hear him knock. I called the dispatcher back and explained that I didn’t hear the serviceman. She said they would send someone back that same afternoon.

returned about 1:30 PM. When he turned on my furnace it fired right up.

asked me if my furnace runs for a while and then stops - then it won’t start and because it locks. I told him that is exactly what I have observed.
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
said I needed to have my flame sensor cleaned and it would cost $49.00. He showed me the part that needed to be cleaned. He showed me the buildup on my fuel sensor. Can you imagine going from being told you need a new furnace to a

minor repair? I was blown away because $49.00 is a long way from a $2,500.00 new furnace. I spent a month with NO HEAT because it took that long to find a reputable furnace company to repair my furnace. I was impressed with C&C Heating because their receipt is very detailed and informative.
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
listed the manufacturer, the model number, and the serial number of my furnace on the receipt. A full description the service he performed was listed at the bottom of the receipt.
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
told me if I need furnace service again to ask for him and be sure to give the dispatcher my dispatch number that is listed at the top of the receipt. After a month of NO HEAT, C & C saved me a lot of heartache and worry. I really appreciate C & C Heating for being professional and more important reputable.

"After getting a lousy first "deal" on a furnace check up, Angie's List put my previous purchase price towards a deal with
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and Sons. I had seen their trucks in my area so I knew they would service my house. After a week of waiting to hear from someone I called
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and Sons myself stating that I had just purchased a deal from Angies List. Apparently the number I called was a dispatch center. She took my information and said she would have someone call me.
The next afternoon I received a call from a gentleman. The phone conversation started off very unprofessionally as he couldn't get his phone to connect to bluetooth and proceeded ask me what I needed and then cut me off because he couldn't hear. After I explained my situation he told me I could use the $59 deal towards what needed to happen, but that it wouldn't cover the entire cost. When I asked about when he could come out he said he would have someone else call me from dispatch as he was just calling about emergencies.
When I didn't hear back from anyone for a week or so, I emailed the company through Angies List. I heard back from someone the same day who apologized, said she didn't have record of my buying a deal, and when would I like to have service. I replied the same day. That was Monday and I have not heard back from anyone yet.
I am requesting that Angie's List refund the entire price of the deal and I'm going to
Detroit HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
elsewhere for service.

"I purchased a Deal for an inspection at my house. I received an email a day later stating that they did not come to my area for service. Thankfully Angie's List refunded my account the full amount.

"I had no problem with the repair man. He was actually a very nice person. I had a problem with the price. My gas regulator on my furnance went bad. The repair man explained everything that was wrong with the furnance. He cleaned and tighten everything on the furnance. I just wasn't prepared for the total price. He didn't have a gas regulator for my furnance and charged me $29.00 to go pick one up from the suppy store. He changed the thermo couple and he sold me a warranty contract for about $60.00. I was out of about $928.00 for the total service. I was also able to use a $20.00 coupon for being an angie list member. I googled the price of a gas regulator and most came to about $58.00 or less. I hope I am wrong but I think I've been screwed big time.
