I purchased a Big Deal and was contacted by the provider. After I explained my needs (concrete repair), he asked me what my "deal" was for specifically and I replied that it was for concrete work. He went on to state that he didn't know that Angie's List was offering a Big Deal with his company, and that he didn't do concrete repair, his line was in concrete stamping, staining, etc.
I contacted Angie's List, explained the problem, and shared the company owner's surprise at how many calls he had received - for something he didn't recall offering because it's not what he does - and was given a refund.
To his credit, the owner was very nice and he did offer to come out and look at what I needed done, but I didn't want to waste his time and energy on something he didn't ordinarily do on a daily basis as part of his work. To clarify my response on "Would you use in the future?", I only checked "No" because I do not see myself needing decorative concrete work in the future.
A strange misunderstanding between Angie's List and the provider, but was handled well for me by both.

We wanted a bigger patio, and a walkway that extended from the house across the RV parking area to the fence. The RV area was loose uneven gravel that ended in a ditch along the fence and we were looking for a way to improve and enlarge it. They came to the house, discussed the job, and gave us a bid. They were able to start almost immediately. For concrete, we ended up with about 18' x 12' additional patio, 20' of walkway, and curbing the length of the RV area (about 40').The old and new concrete match well. The following week after the concrete had set, they returned with rock and filled the RV area, leveling and tamping it. They also graveled where the future shed will go and back filled the dirt around the patio and walks. The whole job turned out great. The RV pad is exceptionally nice. The whole crew were very professional and easy to work with.

I met with the owner at my home who went over the entire process - what to expect, the timeline, choices of texture and color, costs of all the choices. He was very professional and also a nice and friendly person. He was spot on with everything we discussed. There was one small glitch in the first day the guys doing the work were to arrive to powerwash - they misread the address and it was late so they were not able to make it - but did show up earlier the following morning to take care of everything. I was called right away to be notified of the glitch, and it was not a problem at all. The guys who showed up were extremely professional, helpful and willing to answer any questions and did not hestitate to make any adjustments I requested. The finished deck is beautiful - I absolutely LOVE IT! I would give this company 5 stars - very high

The experience with
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
was excellent.
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
took care to listen to our design ideas, added some of his own, and did a great job. Patio looks great and he helped us match the right colors for the concrete and the stain. They were in and out in two days and the finished product looks awesome.

We recently had our entire driveway and sidewalk excavated by these professionals.
We were so pleased with their attentiveness to the way the concrete looked to cleaning
up the site before they left each day. They listened and followed exactly what we wanted.
They were very easy to work with and also very professional during their stay. We would
highly recommend them to anyone who needs new concrete or replacement.
We so appreciate their professionalism and their kindness.

It went well they showed up right at 9 am and got right to work. We had a quick rain shower come through right after the pour. They got it covered fast and it did not harm the product. They came the next day and did the detailing. Sealed on Monday. The only problem we had was with the sealer. It bubbled up and crystallized . This is why I gave responsiveness a fair rating it took almost two weeks for them to responded to my request for them to come out. When they did the guy explained what had happen and fix it. Now we are very happy with our new patio and front walk. One thing make plans for the extra dirt you will have they do not take it away. Office people were always very polite and helpful.

We added a great room to our house last summer and decided to have our concrete floor stained.

was very professional and always very helpful with all our questions and concerns. We first had our great room done loved it so much that when he came back to finish up our front porch we decided to have him stain our new sidewalks and our back patio too. Our back patio had been added to a couple of times so the concrete floor had some imperfections and

did an amazing job to make it look beautiful! You won't believe the compliments we get on our floors, patio and sidewalks!!!! We are very pleased with the work

Whatever you do, don't hire CC

Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
. The work he did around my pool and on patios was inferior, sloppy, lost its color in less than 1 year, and cracked several times. Each time
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
came to fix his errors (after months of prodding) the work actually got worse. This is an unreliable, unresponsive and unprofessional company. DO NOT HIRE.

Our experience with
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
started with me leaving a voicemail with them one evening. I received a phone call back the very next morning. I put together a sketch of what we wanted for our patio and they scheduled a meeting to meet me at my house to review.
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
was 30 minutes late for our meeting. We discussed the project and received a quote for the work. After several changes to our sketch, we finalized the design and finalized the final quote. The work was scheduled for approximately one week later, however due to poor weather, the patio work was postponed several days. The work was completed in two days with excavation completed on the first day and concrete work on the second day.
The quality of the patio was great, it was exactly what we requested and the work was well done. There were a few concerns that I brought to their attention after the work was completed (loose gravel in grass, and concrete splashed on siding), however, they returned the next day to address. I was very impressed with their communication and eagerness to address the concerns I had. I highly recommend

It took
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
a week or two to initially respond to my phone call, but considering that no other company was any better at that, I didn't complain much there. At least he called back unlike many of the other places. He showed up for our estimate, which was also a plus since we had other companies make appointments and then not show up, but after that it was a pain to get in touch with him. He was supposed to come by with our contract on a Monday and never showed up. I had to call and leave him messages (because he doesn't answer his phone) to see when he was going to come by. He finally came over in mid-May with the contract and told me to call him when we got our

approval. He said he would tentatively
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
us down for the first week of June. I called him 2-3 times the first week of June and left him messages letting him know we had gotten our
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
approval and wanted to know when he would be out to do the patio. He didn't call me back for a week, and when he did call back he basically blamed me for this not getting done! He said that "he wished he would have known about the
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
approval" the previous week because his crew was out in our area and could have gotten the patio done. I told him I had left several messages, and he said he had just recently checked them. What business owner doesn't check voicemail messages for a week?! Needless to say I was fuming after that conversation. He said he would call me a day or two before they were going to come out to do the patio. I waited for about two weeks and then left him a couple of voicemail messages just inquiring about when he thought they might be coming out. As usual, no response. I was just about to leave a final message letting him know that we were about to start looking elsewhere when he finally called and said they would be coming out. The job finally got started on
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
7th and got finished on the 12th. The prep work was all done on Monday, the concrete poured and stamped on Wednesday, and the sealant applied on Saturday. I love the patio because I've been waiting for it for so long, but I have to force myself to overlook the obvious imperfections in the stamping. I watched a video on how the stamping process works before ours was stamped simply because I was curious, and the man in the video made sure to fix any imperfections that occurred in between the stamping plates, and
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
and his crew took no such time to do so. There are some seams that look horrendous. My husband says that it's concrete that's supposed to look like stones and he has no issues with it, but it bothers me because I know that there are guys out there that would have taken the time to make it look better. Either
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
has no issue with the imperfections or he doesn't take enough pride in his work, I'm not sure which. When the time came to pay
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
he asked me for a check. I guess anyone who has worked with a contractor knows that they don't take credit, but I have not worked with a contractor before and did not know, so I was assuming we could use credit.
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
never established this information ahead of time, so we had to hurry to move funds around to be able to pay him. Now this is mainly my problem and misunderstanding, but I would think that in order to avoid this type of understanding that a business owner would make this information clear BEFORE completing the work! Now that he has his money he probably doesn't care about any concerns we have, because I called
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
a couple of days ago to ask about some spots on the patio that don't look or feel like they are sealed, and while he said he would be out anytime between Thursday and Saturday, it is now Tuesday of the following week and he has not shown up or called. Overall it was extremely aggravating to work with
Detroit Stamped Concrete Companies Provider Name Locked
because of his lack of responsiveness. He's a very nice guy, but he really needs to work on his customer service. I understand that someone in this line of work is going to be very busy at this time of year, but that does not excuse his lack of professionalism. I don't know how he has been in business for over 30 years if he handles his business this way. I also don't understand how he has not gotten better at stamping concrete over the 20 plus years that he said he's been doing it. So if you want stamped concrete that looks like a professional did it and you want it done in a timely manner by someone who values your business, DO NOT go through
