"I have been a patient with Dr

for about 6 years and have been very pleased with him. However since he has moved to his new location his front office staff has been very unfriendly. I have been able to overlook their shortness until recently when I went in for Dr

to sign a Medical Report for me. I faxed the form over to the office and called to see if they had received it and they refused to look the first day saying that it was most likely in the doctor’s office. I was in need of this paper work in and time was of the essence for me so along with the fax that I sent over I went ahead and scheduled and appointment so that I could follow up if needed which was about a week out. I was completely fine with the time frame of the appointment, but continued to call the office daily to make sure that they had at least received the form that I needed to be filled out. If I didn’t need to come in I did not want to the office and need to. I let the office receptionist know every time that I called that this form was time sensitive for me and finally the 4th time I called she was willing to look to make sure they had received my fax. She told me that the doctor did have it and would fill it out when he had the time. When I called the next two days I was put on hold and then told it was in his office he would fill it out then he had the time. I asked her to have him give me a phone call but never received one from him. Now I understand that there are several different types of forms but this form was literally one page where he just needed to state how long he had known me as a patient, if I had any illnesses, if so what (Which was just a no answer) and then to sign the bottom of the page. The day came for my appointment so I brought in another copy of the form incase he didn’t have it once I got there. I left like I always do with plenty of time to get to the office. I have never been late for a doctor’s appointment, but with the weather being bad instead of being early I arrived at the building at 11:00 the time of my appointment. Dr

’s office is now located at a hospital and it was very difficult to find a parking space and get up to his floor. By the time I got there it was 11:13. I signed in and sat down. The receptionist asked me if anything had changed and told me that I needed to pay the co pay. I told here that I was there for the doctor to sign a paper and didn’t think I needed to pay a co pay. She told me that he would be explaining the paperwork to me so I needed to pay. I told her I wanted to talk to the doctor first. She said fine and went back to her work. In the mean time another patient walked into the office and checked in. He apologized for being late and informed them how bad the parking situation was. It was 11:16 at this point and the receptionist looks over at me and felt the need to attack me. I am assuming it was because of my annoying her with my calling every day and then saying that I wanted to wait to pay my co-pay until I spoke to the doctor. She turned to me and said. You do realize that your appointment was at 11:00 right? I told her yes I was and the proceeded to tell me that when patients are this late we needed to reschedule because it puts the doctor behind. I told her that I had a difficult time finding parking as well. She continued on her attack and told me that is why patients are supposed to come early to appointments. I asked her if she treated all of her patients this way, knowing very well that she hadn’t treated the other gentleman that was in the waiting room WITH me this way. She continued on her rant saying yes she does that any patient would be informed that they needed to reschedule because it puts the doctor too far behind. At this time Dr Rachjaibuns nurse came out to get me, as I am sure she was as disturbed by the receptionist behavior as I was. She was kind and asked me if I waned my vitals taken and I told her no that I just need to speak with the doctor. Dr

came to my room and I explained to him how upset I was this the way that I was treated by his front office. I told him that I had been contacting them for over a week to try to get this time sensitive material form him. I told him about my request for a phone call back from him, but he told me that he never received a message from his front office. I told him that I did not feel like I needed to pay a co pay for him to fill out a piece of paper and he explained to me that he does require appointments for that otherwise he would be overwhelmed with all the paper work. I told him that I understood his procedure of doing that, however in the last week I had called his office 6 times and had never been informed of his procedures, I was just given the run around. I informed him of his receptionist attitude when I came in and how it was in front of another patient. He told me, before I even mentioned to him how I would not be able to use his office again after being treated that way, that he wouldn’t blame me if I didn’t want to come back. I informed him that the front office is a reflection of who he is, and that while I have found him to be a great doctor that I cannot put up with someone being so blatantly rude to me. He informed me that he has had several complaints about her and that he would talk to her, but unfortunately he works for a company now and can’t just fix things the way he would have when he was practicing at his other location. I told him that I would go up and pay my co-pay, but that I would not deal with her when I paid. He informed me that I did not need to pay the co-pay and that he was sorry that it took so long for me to get such a

document filled out. The reason I am giving him such a low score is because of his front desk. 90% of a patients time is with the doctors staff and I am one that needs to feel like I am cared for by all of the office not just the doctor. If you are willing to put up with rude rude rude people at the front desk then you would have a great doctor in Dr.

"He took plenty of time to talk to me at my last appointment, which he hasn't always done in the past. It is really easy to get in to see him; I got in within 3 days of my call. I got in right away for the appointment. His bedside manner is pretty good and he is extremely friendly. He takes a holistic view of problems. For my foot problem he suggested a brand of shoes which might be better for my feet which is a little outside of what doctors usually do.
