We had purchased all of the tile and doors ourselves, and he had not ordered the trim pieces. So he had no out of pocket expenses. We went with 20% up front and 30% fiirst day. I started getting bills for things like 1.5 hours for taking cabinets out of the pod ( which was in our front yard). Going to get grout 1 hour. We never were told that we were going to be charged these items, nor did we authorize it ( in your agreement state taht all changes must b e authorized in writting with the associated charges itemized). They then said they were over 90% done and wanted more money. I said no you're not, and they would not continue to work until I paid them. They were no where near 90% done. In fact today 11/30/09 they still are not done ( we are missing base trim on our kitchen and master bath cabinets). All of their bills were payable upon reciept.
