was recommended by our neighbor and we really liked how their repairs and painting had come out.  In fact, prior to that we were considering replacing all of our windows with double-paned windows, but that would cost a lot more and would be vinyl instead of wood.  Putting in double-paned wood frames would have required removing all the wood frames and the cost would have been exorbitant. So we went with just the repair.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
came out soon after called and gave us an estimate that sounded reasonable.  We didn't get other estimates so are not able to compare.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
said he could start in a couple of weeks. Upon the stated date
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
and his assistants were here 8 AM sharp and continued working all day, every day until completed. They were very attentive to minimizing the inconvenience on us (staying out of the driveway, or moving quickly if we needed to come in or go out) and were always prompt and polite.  We were very impressed with their workmanship and the final product looks great.

"They guy was very knowledgeable about the windows. They took out the old windows and replaced new ones. They also did a little bit of siding. He came out and showed me different windows. They had different price quotes and I didn't feel like he was trying to sell the most expensive ones. They came out and did quickly. They came when they said they will come and took as long as they said they would take."

was one of the two final contractors chosen for our project.

St.

made an initial trip out to assess the scope of the project, and to meet with us. The first thing I noticed was his manner of getting to know us, the house, and where we wanted to go with our project.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
clearly made an effort to find out our tastes, and preferences, and he did not try to "sell" us anything. He was matter-of-fact, and really listened to us, but asked relevant questions. By the time our second meeting occurred, we decided to hire
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
's company because he was very much in-tune with our goals and our budget.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
next introduced us to our Project Manager,

, and my wife, spent a great deal of time making selections on everything from tile, to paint, to cabinet faces. The final budget was approved, and the project moved forward with surprising speed. It was efficient, not rushed. The sub-contractors were all very good, but the Painters are the ones that stood out the most. This was the most meticulously prepared painting project I've ever seen, and the result is amazing. Again, all of
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
's sub-contractors did excellent work, but the painters were the best. The Project Manager,
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
, was also very good. Despite a few minor missteps (nobody's perfect),
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
was thoroughly engaged from start to finish. Although my wife and I were traveling during most of the project,
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
kept us informed.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
also went “above and beyond” - Since my wife was working out-of-state,
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
went so far as to go to a tile store,

out our chosen tile in multiple patterns, and then photograph the different patterns so my wife could pick the pattern she wanted. On another occasion, when I was out-of-state,
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
even set my DVR to record a basketball game so I didn't miss seeing it! During this project, there were other principals involved at

Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
did an outstanding job, and, from start to finish, the project only took 39 days. This was, for us, a very well run, well executed project, that exceeded all expectations in terms of money spent, and the results of the work. No project goes off perfectly, and neither did this one, but any issues, or mistakes, were addressed appropriately and fairly. (The issues were few.)
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
stands behind its work, and was fair and honest in its dealings with us.  We have some exterior work (roofing) to be done, as well as a major renovation of the Master Bath area;

and his crew @

are the best! Their desire to "do the right thing" for the customer is the main reason I would recommend them to anyone. They are not just trying to sell windows for the sake of it; they want to do what's right for the customer."

"I spent $16000 on that service and it went well. I thought that they did good quality installation. Their professionalism and clean up was excellent. "

"We had several windows that had become fogged beyond repair. We decided to replace all of the windows in our 25 year old home with new state-f-the-art energy-efficient windows. We contacted
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
because a relative had recently done the same thing to their home, had done thorough research and picked
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
as the best, and were thoroughly satisfied with the work they did.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
came to our home, measured all of the windows, and provided a detailed written firm-price bid. We decided to replace two patio doors at the same time and had them included in the bid. The windows were fabricated at a local factory. Because we were hosting an event at our home we asked for expedited delivery and installation, and they agreed. We were contacted by the installers (I believe that they are not
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
employees, but rather subcontractors who work for
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
). The installers were punctual, and worked very efficiently and professionally. The entire window installation took two days. They cleaned up carefully and completely at the end of both days. We did experience one glitch. The doors took longer to fabricate, so we had to schedule a separate installation for the doors. The installers again were punctual. When they began installation, however, they discovered that the doors had been fabricated in the wrong size. They returned the doors to the factory and had new ones made in the correct size. When the new doors arrived, we discovered another problem: we had ordered them to be white, but they were instead in a unfinished wood color. When we called this to the attention of the installers they stopped installation and contacted the
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
sales manager. On looking into it he discovered that the factory no longer made the doors prefinished in white. So he arranged to have the doors painted for us at no cost to us. The painters came the next day and completed the work quickly and professionally. In short, although we encountered difficulties with the doors,
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
was completely responsive and made it right. I recommend them highly. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best.

"I got a number of estimates ranging from 7100.00 to 17000.00. Some of the higher estimates were not serious bids, and I don't know why the salesperson wasted his time. Because there are so many brands and models of windows, cost comparisons are difficult, however, it is clear there is a lot of profit in window sales and installation, and cost estimates will vary greatly. After doing internet research and talking with other people, I decided on
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
Windows, a popular mid-grade window.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
gave me a fair price, and the salesman was professional and knowledgeable. (The quality of the installation work is as important as the quality of the window.) The work was completed timely, and I am happy with the results.

"Oh boy. We had a
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
guy come out to look at our house and give us a quote for windows replacement. First, he showed up half an hour early. Then he took some time walking around the house and looking at our original 1940 wood windows, not holding back weird comments about the house and windows. On some windows, some of the glazing had come off, and he pointed at the remaining glazing (which was most of it) and said in a severe voice "oh my, look, this is all that's holding the glass in!" Yes Mr.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
Man, this is what glazing does, it holds the glass in! Then we proceeded to go back inside, at which point we thought we were almost done and would get our quote soon. Wrong. Now he got into his true element, which was being a smoochy Good Old Boy giving us his "I'm just a regular guy like you" spiel. He made us watch a presentation on his laptop, then got his big suitcase, out of which he pulled his marvelous plastic (eh, sorry, vinyl) window. He demoed how you can open either the upper or the lower part, and he did the heat lamp experiment showing how much heat the window blocks. He did a great job confusing us with a lot of numbers about heat reflection and energy efficiency and tax credits that all pushed us to consider their most expensive line of windows the most. At this point we were about two hours into his visit, and our dog was beginning to wonder what was going on. When the dog gets nervous, his digestion gets upset, which causes him to produce gas. We were hoping that our lack of enthusiasm, combined with with the dog farting every minute or so, would send a message to Mr.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
that his time was up. Wrong again. He acted as if he was not going to go anywhere today. At some point he made a comment that suggested to us that he knew what we are doing for a living. Because we never told him anything like that, I can only assume that he googled us beforehand to find out as much as he could about us. Creepy. Finally, after more than two hours, he pulled a dollar number out of his hat: $24,000 for their "high end virgin vinyl" windows. No breakdown into parts and labor or anything. $24,000! For a small single story single family home! For plastic windows! I can do a little math myself: - At Home Depot or Lowe's, I can buy vinyl windows for under $150 plus $100 installation a piece, times 22 windows for the house, = $ 5,500. I don't know where the rest of the money goes ($18,500). - Our energy bill is about $200 a month, heating in winter and A/C in summer. If we can cut that in half by getting new windows, we would save $1,200 a year. So it would take us 20 years to break even! Not economical. So we had our heart stopping quote two and a half hours into the sales visit. He was just preparing to give us a "special discount if we order today", when the best thing of the day happened: the door bell rang and the Home Depot windows guy was here. We had lined up the Home Depot guy two hours after the
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
guy - with the half hour early show, that gave us two and a half hours of
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
sales suffering. It was amazing how quickly the
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
guy changed his demeanor: from acting all comfy and not going anywhere moments ago, he was up, packed his stuff and was out of here in under a minute. Thank you Home Depot, otherwise Mr.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
would still be here. (Btw the Home Depot quote was lower than
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
but still too expensive, so eventually we opted to have our wood windows restored by an independent contractor).

"He spent a good amount of time describing the products he recommended and went over aesthically what would work well in our neighborhood and in improving the value and comfort of our house. He did a very thorough, professional install."

"Marjie came out earlier to advise and measure -- she suggested a casement window for above the kitchen sink, and told us the installer would have no problem pulling out the dryer to install a window behind it, and then replacing the dryer. There are 21 windows in the house and Marjie has replaced them all in affordable stages--this being the last stage.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
, the installer came the next day to measure and then a couple of days later the bid arrived by email. We approved the bid and mailed a signed contract and 35% deposit ($941). Her bid noted that we would qualify for an energy credit of about $700. About 2 weeks later, Marjie sent an email suggesting a date and time for installation.
Dallas Window Installers Provider Name Locked
arrived with the windows and a packet of info on the date we agreed. Installation is described above. The info packet included what we needed to do to obtain the tax credit. We are thrilled with everything.
