I was satisfied from start to finish with the
team including

(who provided insight on a difficult install situation), and the installers who completed the work in a timely and professional manner.
honored the commitments they made in the sales process. They weren't the cheapest or most expensive provider; but I feel good about the work they completed at my home.

I had been a long term customer of
& Son. Obviously I am very disappointed with the solution they recommended. They installed this system originally and have serviced it since being installed. They inspected and tested the system for several hours before recommending a complete replacement. After getting a second opinion and finding out is was a
part replacement easily determined by the new tech...hmmm let see 170 vs. 14,000 - we have a

Fort arrived in the time frame agreed to with the company. This was an emergency repair and it was the first time I used Reliant, so this was most appreciated. Fort was polite, professional and quickly fixed our problem. I could not have been happier with the service and I felt the price charged was very fair - especially with this being an emergency weekend call. I will use reliant again in the future.

Everything was good as noted above. They recommended, but not pushed, a maintenance contract as well as a code compliance repair. We will probably go ahead at a future date. We were very pleaded.

We hired
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
’s to replace our air conditioning unit. We chose them because they are an authorized Trane dealer, their quote was not much more than two others’, they seemed to know what they were doing, and they have good Angie’s list reviews.
They worked tirelessly from early morning to dark getting our system installed so that we would not be without air conditioning. They came back the next day to finish up some additional work we hired them to do on our other system.
They were quick to courteously address any questions or concerns we brought up during the day. There was a misunderstanding about the size and placement of a new vent. It was necessary for the new unit, but it would not work well where we wanted it. They patiently worked with us as long as it took to find a site satisfactory to us while still maintaining the integrity of the air flow.
Their professionalism and dedication to doing a good job showed in many ways. They worked fast and efficiently, but clearly wanted to please the customer, too. We highly recommend them.

This all started with an assessment performed by another A/C repair company. They recommended I replace my 16 year old system and I found
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
on Angie's list when looking for someone to give me a second opinion.
After assessing my current system,
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
confirmed that a new system was an appropriate decision (not too much of a surprise!) but provided valuable feedback regarding how to approach the replacement. Specifically, the size of the unit, where to place returns, supplies, types of duct work, etc... I appreciated his patience as he explained how a system works end to end and continued to take my phone calls as I had follow up questions based on internet research and feedback from friends.
Before we could schedule an appointment, my AC unit stopped working on a Wednesday night. We called
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
on Thursday morning and
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
moved several Friday tune-up appointments to accommodate a Friday installation. They showed up at 6am and were done before they left that evening.
The crew was very efficient and did whatever it took to get the job done as promised including working with me as installation hiccups came up. One example included running to home depot to get a sledge hammer to remove the exceptionally heavy concrete slab from the old unit so it could be replaced with an appropriate sized slab. The team also gave me options when placing return vents, including some that required them to remove attic decking. Also, I installed a Nest with my last system and
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
stayed late to make sure the Nest worked with the new one as expected (including calling nest to troubleshoot issues).
Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. It's never fun writing a check that large but I don't have buyer's remorse and feel comfortable calling
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
if anything pops up.

Long story short, after
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
installed a new evaporating coil into one of our AC units, my house had a new giant hole in the wall and large water damage/stain across the ceiling. One of the installation men dropped the coil into the wall. Also, they didn’t install PVC pipes properly. So, immediately after the air was turned on and they left, it started leaking down through our ceiling.
According to the man who came by later that day to fix it, said the original installers took a short cut to installing the pipes. (What else do they take short cuts on, I wonder .... )
We had to have half of the ceiling in our upstairs room and the wall repaird. We are also left with streaks in the paint because the home repair men bought a darker shade of our paint when repairing damage from the installation.
Their communication was HORRIBLE. I was told multiple times I would get a call back about one thing or another, and never did. Had to call them back constantly to get answers to my questions.

Wednesday: Called
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
to get an appointment. Was quick and easy. They said they could come the next day.
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
called before they came to my house, like they said they would. Arrived on time. The two men came in. Diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes. Told me I need a new evaporation coil, but they needed to check if the coil was under warranty first before they could give me an estimate. They said they would call me back on Monday morning about it, because the
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
warranty department would be closed already (it was the Thursday afternoon before the fourth of
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
Monday of the next week: No call from
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
in the morning. I called them in the afternoon to ask about the status and why I hadn’t heard anything. They explained that they hadn’t called the warranty department yet and needed to check with them that afternoon and would call me right back. No call from them that afternoon. I had to call them back AGAIN to get answers about the status. They explained that they needed to call the

Tuesday: Talked with one of the people that came out to diagnose the problem finally, and he was able to an appointment set up for Wednesday.
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
came to my house to install the coil. During the installation, I hear a loud bang up stairs. My husband goes to check out what happened, and found that one of the technicians accidentally dropped the coil and it slammed into the wall and put a large hole in the wall about one foot long.
Thursday: Called at 1pm because I did not receive a call from the home repair department. They told me they were supposed to call me, and they would give them a call to make sure they get in contact with me. I told them I’ve had too many bad communication issues with them so far, I wanted their number to take care of this myself. They gave me his number, I called, he had no idea who I was or what I needed done on my house. I was finally able to schedule an appointment for them to come out and fix the issues, before the end of the week.
Friday: Home repair men came, did a great job fixing the drywall, and ended up replacing half of our ceiling in the room where the leak was. However, one of the repair men had to go out and buy more paint (I gave him the actual paint to match), and he bought the wrong color and we now have streaks of a few shades darker than our paint color on the ceiling and wall… I don't even want to call them back to fix it. I'm done with
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. Never will hire again and you shouldn't hire them either.
The next Wednesday: I get a call from A#1Air to tell me that a Dallas city inspector will be coming today to make sure all of the repairs are up to code. They gave me a two hour window. As I expected, the person did not show up during that time frame, I’m still waiting for them as I write this review. ……

I sent an email on the company website on Sunday and received a call back within 5 minutes. They sent someone out the same day to check my AC condenser. I received update phone calls to let me know that I was next in line and then when the technician was on his way to my home. He arrived promptly and was completely professional and courteous. Unfortunately my 20 year old condenser needed to be replaced, but I could not be happier with the service I received from this company.

Reliant just blew us away! Wow! Amazing service. I came home to a warm house tonight. 95 degrees outside; 81 degrees inside our home. Exterior AC unit wasn't working. I checked circuit breakers, thermostat, everything. Called
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
based on their Angie's List and BBB reviews. I was stunned that someone took my call late on Sat night. I expected to get an answering service. Within 30 minutes the technician,
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, called and said he was on his way. I was floored! He arrived at our home within 20 minutes. Checked out the system and figured out within five minutes that it was the capacitor. Replaced it and our home is now comfy cool. Just like that. Very reasonable diagnostic (trip call) fee, and not at all expensive for the work performed.
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was personable, professional and fast. The company that installed our AC years ago and who has been our service company to date said they might be able to send someone on Monday. Right.
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, no thanks. They just lost our business. We were so happy with the fast service from Reliant, we purchased Reliant's maintenance agreement -- also affordable.
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
didn't try to sell it to us -- I just asked about it based on the remarkable service we just received. Thank you, Reliant, for saving our weekend (and our sick puppy from having to be in a hot house). You and your technician,
Dallas HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, just gained a new customer.

This was billed as a "tune-up," which implied to me that it would involve actually making maintenance repairs and adjustments (that is, actually "tuning up" my air conditioning system). I failed to read the fine print which apparently stated that the technician is only doing a multi-point inspection. I already had the air condition inspected when I bought the house; I wanted an actual "tune-up." In short, purchasing this service was a waste of my time and money.
