"Great.
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
was professional, knowledgable and didn't waste our resources. He found the most cost effective way to hook up our system and use the components we already had. Great job.

"Loved Mr.
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
. When my television was installed on the wall there were so many wires behind the television they kept falling below the unit. He worked long a hard to get the wires/cables in an acceptable position and discovered additional problems with my antenna. As soon as I can get the recommended antenna I will use his services for the installation. Such a nice young man."

"This company is absolutely amazing. They showed up on time, with all
the appropriate equipment, and were extremely professional. They
explained the necessary elements and code compliance issues with
electrical wiring in wall. They were extremely clean and took care to
clean up all elements upon finishing. Once finished, they took the time
to walk my house and answer questions regarding future audio visual
elements which I wanted in my home. I would highly recommend them to
anyone.

"Overall they were great. In spite of a road bump to start, they more than made up for it in excellent customer service and attitude. The work they did made a big improvement in our home stereo.

"Once again I bought a $99 deal and spent $5000.00 I really need to stay away from these Big Deals! The work was done as planned on time and in a neat and clean manner. We had to do some reprogramming and they had to tolerate all my calls when I would forget how to do something.Response to questions is immediate. They set it up my way,the way I wanted it,with a smile. Not cheap ,but great quality.I could have spent a lot more for a more sophisticated system, but this met our needs.

"iring I had.or the fact the supplier wThe appointment was for 9:30AM and the technician arrived right on time. He was a nice guy and clearly knowledgeable. The first issue we ran into was the size of the speaker wiring. Hiding the wiring completely out of sight was not feasible, which I knew. The wiring to the 2 rear speakers had to be run along the same baseboard. The technician had 16/2 speaker wire but not 16/4. That meant two wires showing on the baseboard instead of one if 16/4 was used. We discussed what I wanted to do and I decided I wanted 16/4 wiring. He offered to go to his supplier, about 5 miles away, and get the 16/4. He said it would cost me an additional $50. We discussed that even if I got the wire myself it would cost me $35 or so for the length I needed. I opted to let him go get the wire.
He was gone for a little over an hour. When he returned he advised me that the 16/4 wire was out of stock at his supplier. I agreed to let him use the 16/2 wire and I would change it out myself later rather than have him reschedule. He patiently told me how to do it. We were in business. After he got everything hooked up he turned on the system. The volume control didn't work. Additionally, the FM function was not operational. He rechecked all his connections and they were OK. The problem was with my admittedly ancient

, not what he did. He called

and together with the

representative got the volume issue resolved.
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
said nothing could be done to help resolve the FM issue. The technician said that perhaps the FM antenna was damaged, so he fashioned a new antenna from some extra wiring I had. That didn't help, but I was impressed at how he kept trying. He then told me how I could easily work around the FM problem and get FM to play through my

speakers. I was happy and he was finished.
My Big Deal was for 2 hours but he put in 4 hours. Under the terms of the Big Deal, additional hours would cost me over $100/hour. I braced myself expecting him to say I owed more money. It didn't happen. He cleaned up and said good-bye.
I hesitated to put in writing how the technician went above and beyond without it costing me more than the Big Deal price. If you are reading this, and contract with them, I don't think you should necessarily expect to get more than you bargained for money-wise. However, I am confident you will get absolutely first rate service at an excellent price. I recommend

without reservation.

"Excellent, professional, expert advice on where to hang the TV, how high to hang it and pros and cons of how to wire it. Very knowledgeable and personable service crew. They are well worth the extra expense as compared to others!! I would use them again and highly recommend them if you want it done exceptionally well with no hassles.

"We were moving into a new home in the PH area of Dallas and wanted to get our Media Room, Stereo for House,
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
TVs hung and Security Equipment Installed. I had 7 different AV companies big the project (received 6 quotes, I am sure Royal Home Theater will eventually give me my quote (its only been a month). All of them came and walked the house and listened to our needs. All but one pull together a proposal for us based on our requirements. The pricing was all over the board, from $15K to $40K for the thing we wanted.
Starlight initially came in on the high side, but we were impressed with their experience and quality of equipment they could offer (many vendors bid Snap AV, which is an installer OEM with cheap quality and high list prices so we eliminated them). We went back and forth and reached a price we could both live with and decided to proceed with them.
They proposed the following:
Media Room:
-Sony Control 4 Receiver 7.2
-7 Klipsch 3800R Speakers & 1 Klipsch Subwoofer (they painted the speaker covers to match the room)
-They used my

3020 projector
-Dragonfly 106" screen
-3d Sony Blu-

Player
-Integrated my Xbox
-Netgear Wireless Access Point
-SR-250 Remote to control the system (We wanted something smaller)
Whole House:
Marrantz Receiver 7.2
-6 Sets of Speakers (R350, 250 & 150) in the different rooms
-Sonos Player (love this!)
-Rack System in our Audio Closet
-They also mounted 5 TVs (all 60"+) on all of our walls and worked with ATT to get UVerse working properly (they put in surge protection outlets on all of them)
Security:
Wirepath Infrared Cameras & 2 TB Recorder
It takes about a week to order the equipment in so you need to plan that when you are in this process and expect that you will pay anywhere from 75%-90% of the cost of the equipment when you sign the contract. They ordered the equipment on a Thursday and came to start the job the following Wednesday. Their guys (
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
was the lead and would recommend him highly) showed up on time, prepared to work. They did have a back order on the speakers so
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
(the owner) actually upgraded our speakers to the 3800 in the media room so we could be done for the weekend. I had wanted to provide my own Projector as had gotten one as a gift from a friend and it turned out that the projector didn't work properly (some gift). They were actually really good about this, most companies would have charged you to come back out and install, but
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
actually came out on Saturday morning and installed the 3020 for me that I picked up at BB (they offered to give me a loaner as well or sell me one, but we had planned a movie sleepover for our son in the media room that Saturday night so decided to just get one myself).
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
spent his Saturday making sure my system was fully operational before Saturday night. The sleepover was a huge hit. They sent their painter over the following week to paint all the speaker covers to match our walls and did an excellent job.
They came back the following Monday to do the whole house installation (they had to cut 6 sets of speakers into the various rooms). This can take a while as the installer had to
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
them out (find them). They installed all of them and put in controllers so we could manage the sound for each room. Highly recommend doing controls like this as you don't want to have to play in every room at the same volume. We had Sonos installed, which I would highly recommend.
They came back the next day and did the Camera System, which we set up so we could watch on our Ipads/iPhones and would recommend that as well. The multiple cameras definitely give good piece of mind. Get the Infrared as it works well. You also want at least a TB HD to record the camera feeds (especially if you have 4 or more camera).
In Summary, I would share that like all projects of this scale there are always going to be small hiccups along them way, but what is most important for me is how they are handled.
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
and his team (
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
-Operations Lead and
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
-Project Lead) were 100% committed to make sure we were satisfied and did whatever was needed to do so. Whether it was
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
coming out on his day off or
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
upgrading my speakers because the ones we ordered got backordered, they were professional from start to finish. You can definitely find someone cheaper out there, but what I have learned is you get what you pay for and it we didn't want someone who would nickle & dime us whenever something changed because they have you under contract. They were always fair and worked with us to come up with a good solution. We love our media room and use it almost daily. I was personally surprised how often my family uses the whole home audio (so
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
my 11 yr old son controls from his iPad). The security cameras give my wife piece of mind. They are good people who deliver a quality product at a fair price.
The most telling thing to share is that we are about to put in a pool and will definitely use
Dallas Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
and his team to do our AV for it as well and would not use them unless we were fully satisfied with their work (you can see from my other reviews when I am not happy with someone).
Good luck!

"Smoothly. Great investment. Took technician around two hours to complete something that would have probably taken us all day to figure out. Technician was on time, even though he did show up a day early. But that was no biggie. He came back the next day, around the same time, and work was completed to our satisfaction.
