"I have used 
two times to paint. Both times they have been punctual, consistently working and finish when they say they will finish. My house is approximately 2500 sq. feet. They painted interior, exterior and painted, taped and floated a two car garage in a one week period. These guys even worked in some of the coldest weather we had. They used space heaters in the garage to complete painting. I had two other painter companies bid on the job. Southern's price is very competitive. I will always call Southern first."

"Overall the project went well, he did everything we talked about and even did a couple of things I had originally told him not to worry about and we even added some things to the list. He was very responsible and showed up when he said he would. Easy to work with and was very helpful. If I had to say anything on the negative side it would be the clean up. There was still a lot of dust and texture stuff around in the living room but outside the house was cleaned up really well. I would definitely use him again in the future."

"We found them through Angie's List and got a different person the second time. The guy we interacted with and facilitated everything was proactive, upfront and said he would come by and check on the work but I never saw him again. We didn't need him anyway, the crew was tremendous. They were very efficient and covered and protected the furniture. They are super efficient, the painting was wonderful, the work they do is flawless, as well as the clean up and they are very polite. We had a couple of places where the drywall needed to be fixed, they fixed it all and it looks fabulous. They did a good job, it's a very good company. I'd tell others without hesitation to hire them. They are reasonably priced, sometimes the management isn't around but they do get it set up and the crews are tremendous. "

" is just unbelievable! We had had a leak in what we believed came from an air conditioning unit in an attic. removed the damaged wall board from the ceiling and part of the wall -- did an absolutely excellent job on the repair. You couldn't tell anything had happened -- it was just so perfect. He arrived early on Friday morning to basically pack up all of his remaining materials and as soon as he got upstairs I heard him "OH NO!!" We had had a huge rain the night before and, in fact, it was still raining very hard that morning. ALL of the work had done was again soaked through. immediately climbed up into the attic and located the real source of the water intrusion. We did not have an a/c leak as previously believed -- water was actually coming from an area on a chimney. I was beside myself! He then began tearing out wallboard and re-directly water into buckets he placed in the wall so water would not run on down the wall and ruin the carpeting and ceiling below! So, we were back to square one but with even more damage but, with so much less had he not been here. Of course, it poured down rain all weekend and into much of the next week. was here every single day either working to remove wet materials, redirecting fans he brought in, or checking to make sure he had the problem under control until the rain finally stopped and everything was dried out. My job threw him off schedule by more than three weeks. All I can say is that I don't know what I would have done without him. It was more than a blessing that he was here during that time. The final work is fabulous. No one would ever believe what happened. I wish I could build a house and have him do the entire thing! He is truly a perfectionist. DO NOT even hesitate to contact/contract -- just do it! He's now like a member of our family -- only better!"

"The project was a lifesaver for me. We were expecting the Container Store to be at our house in 48 hours to install new shelving and I was running behind in prepping the closet. I also would have done a woefully worse job than . I called him on a Tuesday afternoon and he came the next morning. I made it clear that he had to be done by early afternoon so that I could prime and paint the closet that evening.

Overall, I was very pleased with the responsiveness and the interaction with during the process to ensure we were syncronized on the expected outcome and that he could make suggestions and modify or improve he project as needed."

"Came on time in the morning. First thing he did was protect my flooring. Made a plastic tent around him to repair and texture. Brought in his own fan to help dry. Can't even tell where the hole was. I highly recommend this company."

"I am overwhelmed. They did a great job! was punctual, respectful, and professional. The work was completed quickly and thoroughly. All the fixtures and surfaces were covered before the actual work of painting began. It was clear from the beginning that my opinion mattered. The colors suggested look great. Even though the bathroom cabinets were difficult and time consuming did not stop until everything was done to my approval. I love the way the entry looks without the box hanging down and the wallpaper gone. Everything is fresh and clean. I couldn't be more pleased. I have highly recommended to everyone. I will call again."

"Terrible experience. took about 21 days to do a week-long job. Furthermore, he had to re-tile the shower floor more than once, and when he was finished, the shower did not drain properly because the shower floor ( ) was not sloped properly. Additionally, there were many imperfections (things just not straight) about how the tile was installed in the shower. Ultimately I had to have the entire shower stall ripped out again and re-done by a qualified tile person. While getting estimates on the second re-do, every estimator was shocked by the sloppiness of 's work. I took many pictures and they show all of the problems quite clearly. After sending a demand letter for a full refund of my money (materials and labor), has not responded at all. I am repeating his name many times on purpose to ensure that people know about the bad experience I had. told me halfway through that he was using my shower as a job to "refresh his skills", yet he claims he has 20 years of experience laying tile."

"We are a young couple who only know a little bit about home repairs/remodeling and was very patient and informative for us. He took time to explain everything to us, sometimes more than once. He walked us through everything and completed the work as he said he would. During the remodel, we asked him to do something different with the tile that made the project last longer, but he did it willingly. He was upfront about the cost of everything. He has many many years of experience and we felt that he could be trusted in our home. basically does everything himself without the use of a separate crew (unless there is very specific electrical or plumbing work to be done - then he can call upon trusted expert colleagues), so you know that there will be consistency between what he says will be done and what will be done. At one point we asked him to do part of something over again, and he gladly obliged - he wanted to make sure we were happy with his work. After the job was completed we started using him to do all kinds of jobs around the house. We will be using for whatever we can think of for as long as he will be in business. He is truly a rarity in this day and age. "
