"The guy who runs the company, , is easy to deal with. He showed up on time, gave an accurate estimate, did what he said he would do, and then did a great job. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again if I needed similar work done. Considering how much bad service there is out there, it's a relief to find competence and professionalism. To top it off, he has a good attitude."

"They came and powerwashed the deck/arbor on a Friday and applied the stain/seal on the following Wednesday. I would have preferred that the wash and seal be performed closer together, but there were some windy days in between that made it difficult to do that. So, unfortunately I had furniture and plants in my back yard for over a week while we waited for them to finish the process. The crew showed up late on Wednesday afternoon and finished in the dark. I also would have preferred the work be done earlier in the day. The chemical fumes from the stain/seal were so intense that we had to take our dogs and leave the house for several hours. I was never told to expect this or warned about it. The job was well done and the deck looks great, I just would have preferred that the process goes a little smoother than it did. is a nice guy and the foreman on the project was nice (can't remember his name) but some of the contractors were a little "leery.""

"The travertine installation in bathrooms looks good, although it was not sealed as per the contract. did not pay his subs so they would not finish. Travertine was laid in the entryway, not sealed, not grouted correctly and then workers tracked across dirt and debris and ground in to the little grout that was put down. I had to have the floor regrouted and sealed even though I already paid HSC for this job MONTHS in advance. Kitchen floor OK but had to be ripped up around and under the dishwasher because mismeasured. I could not match the travertine hard though I tried-result I have an obvious "patch" in a brand new stone floor. Countertops are slab granite. There was supposed to be a 6" overhang for a breakfast bar. The overhang ranges from 4" on one end to 1" on the opposite end. Two very different slabs were used so the backsplash and half a counter is not even close to the rest of the counters. According to subcontractor didn't pay so they won't help me."

"Excellent overall experience. E.J. was consistently prompt, polite, and enthusiastic about his work. Most of the expense involved was for the labor of cleaning (fence was probably 10 yrs old and had never been stained or sealed). Overall, the work was completed in 2 1/2 days. E.J. personally worked on the cleaning job and had a crew come to do the staining. The crew had to return to reapply stain on a second day, because the first coat wasn't adequate. E.J. came out to inspect the finished product and has returned twice to touch up a couple of areas, and has done everything in his power to make me 100% happy with the final product. Excellent quality of work, and great customer service. Highly recommend them."
