is pretty good. They do stand behind it. Sometimes it’s a hassle to get it fixed because they seem to back off; at least some of the repair guys do. If you have an intermittent problem, you are probably stuck. If the appliance breaks, they will fix it. If it fails or it’s not doing the job it should be doing, they will fix it or replace it. However, it’s pretty tough when it comes to troubleshooting. They did install the appliances for us when we put an addition on our house. They delivered the appliances and set them. They follow up if there is a problem. We did have a problem with our refrigerator and we finally got it addressed. It took a little while because it was intermittent and we couldn’t always show them since there was like defrost in the freezer section. It used to leak all over the floor. We worked around it and eventually got it fixed. They are always pleasant and pretty timely. If they run late, they call you. They will always schedule, but they can’t be too precise. However, that’s all reasonable and understandable. Their communication is pretty good for the most part."

The guys from Right Appliance took the info about my machine over the phone and looked into getting parts to fix for me. Turns out my machine was over 20 years old (!!!) and the parts alone would be $165 -- exclusive of labor to do the work -- not worth fixing. I appreciated their honesty in advising me of this point, rather than just making a lot of cash off of me. I was desperate for a new machine and was not in a financial position to buy a new one so the guys helped me locate a good deal on a used one and installed it. "The price on the dishwasher was good, but the install went horrible. I had an appointment for 1 to 4 pm and the person showed up at 7:15 pm on a Friday evening. He had called and said he was running late a couple of times. I had taken off the afternoon and had waited all afternoon, but each time he called he said it would be a little later and only take 30 minutes to do the install so I thought I would just have him come and not have to take more time off. The guy finally got to the house and unpacked the new dishwasher and his first words were...this is one of the new fancy ones and stated he did had never installed one (not the best way to instill confidence). The install took over two hours and I had to help by getting out the instructions to see what some of the screws and parts went to. I tried to use the dishwasher the next day and it would not drain. That could have been smoother. The installer tripped a GFI, cut power and announced I'd have to get an electrician to turn the power back on. This would also require him coming back out resulting in a double charge. Watch out for the flex hose replacement! He asked if I wanted the copper line replaced with a flex hose and then charged me $60 extra for a $5 hose.

"This was a horrible experience for us. We had ordered four major appliances from them and they guaranteed arrival on a certain date. They never showed up. We waited up until 2 a.m. and finally gave up. We were so unhappy that we canceled the order. They were totally unresponsive, so we bought our appliances elsewhere."
"Lowe's has very nice people working for them. As far as work though, I do not think that I would say they are the best. They did work out great and got the job done. They were very reasonable and I have no problems now. I am happy with the outcome, but, like I said they are not the greatest."
