"He?s been my vet probably for ten years. There are two vets over there and they have their staff. I board my dog some place else. They

?t get you in and get you out just like that. They take all their time to spend with you. They are very thorough. I had an older dog several years ago and he was starting to fail. They were very helpful during that time. They told me what things to look out for and things to do. It ended up with the age of the dog and issues with the dog. We had to have the dog put down. These are facts of life and there?s nothing unfortunate about it. They were extremely helpful with the whole process. I would use their services again in the future.

Columbus Veterinarians Reviews

"The only thing some people may be hesitant about there is that often times you will have an intern and/or a resident as your main physician and the medical students may be taking care of your animals. But everything is closely supervised by professionals. My animals are like family and they treat just about any animal imaginable. They are very personable and take excellent care of the animals that come through. The animals are seen by many people, from a veterinarian to resident to medical student, so you are almost assured that if something is wrong it will be picked up. They are very efficient and knowledgeable. The majority of people that go there realize that they have the world's best vet specialists available to you. It is not just any old vet. The people there are the best in their field. They are working on research on a variety of areas so they always have the cutting

knowledge. It is a very safe atmosphere. They treat families great. Most of them are pet owners themselves and love animals or they would not be in this line of business. The prices were very reasonable.

"They fit us in on a busy Saturday when we called with concerns about our new puppy (8 wks old). She was starting to develop a cough after a bordatella vaccination. They checked her out and prescribed antibiotics. They also answered our questions and made us very comfortable. They are always very concerned about our pets and our needs as their owners. We love this practice!"

is really good. You can tell he knows animals. My dog seemed really comfortable around him, she was not nervous at all. Everyone there was great. The receptionists was very nice and make you very comfortable with the whole veternary experience. He even has his own dogs there and they are really good. "

"Every staff member is wonderful, vets, techs, groomers, office staff. Very caring about the animals and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone!"

"The checkup went great. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, the vet tech was gentle with the cats and explained everything she was doing. The veterinarian was good with the cats and genuinely seemed to care about them. She gave them a thorough examination, checking their weight and all their vitals. She found an ear infection for one cat and was able to recommend some very helpful suggestions for making the cat with the bald spot feel less stressed. The bald spot was diagnosed as likely to be stress related. Because of my cats' older age the veterinarian recommended blood tests, which we scheduled for the summer. Neither cat was upset by the treatment of the people at the office, and both were given a lot of affection by the vet tech and veterinarian. It seemed the cats like their doctor (although it is hard to tell what goes on in the mind of a cat). The vet was very careful to explain exactly how to administer the medicine for the ear infection, and was good with answering all our questions. The veterinarian's office gave a brief callback to make sure the cat with the ear infection was feeling better and that the fur had started to grow back on the bald spot of the other cat--a nice touch that I wish more human doctors would do when people are sick. I am very pleased with this Veterinarian and would recommend them to anyone looking for an office that cares about pets."

"The vet did a thorough check and advised that our dog is severely overweight! She needle biopsied the tail to confirm (it was just fat cells). She spoke honestly and compassionately about ways to help get the dog's weight under control. The front desk staff was also very helpful in helping me pick out a new feeding

for the dog, it makes her work for her food! Fun to watch also! I'm happy to report the dog is adjusting fine and even the family is on board in not giving her excess treats, etc. We are aiming for 2-4 lbs lost per month. Although we have yet to return for a weigh-in, she does appear to be in a little better shape, esp her tail! Apparently that is where obese dogs store their excess weight (she doesn't really have thighs to pack it on). I had never seen that on a dog before and was concerned it was some sort of infection. I am considering taking our other dog in for a second opinion on a different condition and perhaps switching here permanently. I appreciate that the vet was straightforward and honest about my dog's condition so we can do something about it."

"My experiences have been excellent -- friendly, helpful staff, very professional; great care from Dr. Djelmis. Everyone in the office clearly enjoys and appreciates animals and handles them well."

"The office was very clean and we were greeted with smiles and felt very welcome. Dr.

brought us into one of her examination rooms. Before she started she explains all charges for what will be performed on the animal. She checked Midnight over very well and was extremely gentle. She also provides a senior discount which we really appreciated. This is in our opinion, the best animal hospital in the county."
