Columbus Small Appliance Repair Reviews

"The salesman (

) at Appliance Smart recommended
Columbus Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
to replace my Kitchenaid dishwasher silverware basket. As
Columbus Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
stated, the low price was found online at their site. I ordered the silverware basket on Friday morning and paid for standard shipping. To my amazement, the silverware basket was delivered the very next morning--a Saturday!! It is a factory part, made in the U.S.A. Needless to say, I am very pleased!
"it went excellent he had great attention to detail and really listened tp my concerns, he was thorough. even called to check in and see if all was ok after.
"Returned my phone call and provided very good advice about repairing a microwave vs purchasing a new one. Also provided contact information for another service provider."
"Another company replaced the igniter in 1998 for $106 for parts and labor. In November of 2010 The Appliance Man came to replace the igniter. We thought the igniter needed to be replaced, before he even began services. After looking over the oven, he said it was the igniter but he would have to charge us for diagnosing the problem. Including parts and labor and some negotiating we were charged $241 dollars. I felt ripped off, especially for charging $91 for simply diagnosing the problem. With that said, the serviceman was pleasant. Every thing else was professional. But I will never use them again."
"Based on the information I had about the heater, I was under the impression that I was out of the warranty period and wouldn't get any warranty support. However, the guys at
Columbus Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
exchanged my broken heater for a new one of the same model. They saved me about $80 if I would have had to get a new one. The day I dropped the heater off, they were very busy and I didn't get much time to talk to anyone. But they called me to follow-up and when I called back, the guy that answered the phone knew exactly what I was talking about. Great services."
"I spoke with

, the owner, on the phone and stated that I needed a 110 outlet plug installed in the cabinet over the

to accommodate the microwave I wanted to have installed. We went on to discuss in pretty good detail the set up of my house (crawl space, circuit box in utility room approx 20 feet away, house built in 1956, etc) and he said he could do the job. He gave me a detailed estimate that included delivery, installation and cost of running wire from the circuit box and installing a new plug that would total $300 -325. He sent over two delivery guys who didn't even bring a flashlight with them. When they found out what I needed they said, "you need to call an electrician" I called
Columbus Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
on the spot to ask him why his installers could not do what I had contracted with him to be done and he got mad at me right away and said, "How would I know what needs to be done, I've never been to your house". I reminded him that we had discussed it in detail on the phone and he said a phone call wasn't enough to assess the situation and I needed to call an electrician. I asked him why he had told me that he could do it over the phone when actually he didn't know and he said he could never be sure over the phone. I said I felt he had misrepresented himself and his service to me and that I was very dissatisfied with the situation. He said, "If that's the way you feel Lady, you can keep your damn money!" He nextelled his guys and pulled them out of the kitchen before I could walk from the living room to the kitchen to talk to them. I did not end up paying him any of his 300 -325 fee, but I now have a 30" microwave sitting on my dining room floor that's too heavy for me to move.
"The electrician was timely, courteous and pleasant. The office manager was also helpful and we were called back as promised. The job was completed timely without a mess and we are planning on having them do more work in the future."

came out the very next day and agreed to come after work at 6 PM. I was thrilled that I did not have to take off work to get the job done. He was professional on the phone and arrived on time. He did a great job and we will be calling him for work again."
"It went well. The plumber came in, I explained the situation and he started work. Was very quiet but got the job done in a very timely manner. I gave a "B" for price but I guess that it's not bad compared to what's out there - also it helped that I had a relatively

job. It's $40 for the service call and then $36 per half hour after that - so it may depend on the size of the job as to how economical it is."
"Best time to go is early on a weekend morning. Very relaxed atmosphere and they take care of things right away. Fixed a wonderful old-fashioned floor heater that I regularly used by replacing the plug."
