"This is the second time we used within the last couple of months. The service was excellent and the work was done professionally and competently. A technician was sent out the same day that I called. He was very thorough in his review of the situation and explained in detail what needed to be done. The work was done in a very reasonable amount of time and he tested the work to be sure that it was working properly. He cleaned up the area in which the work was done."

"I called several plumbers on Angie's List and everyone wanted a window to arrive rather than an set appointment time; I did not have time to sit around from noon to 3 or 8 to noon, etc. so I kept calling until I found . I had already taken the morning off from work for the following day for another reason and never thought I could find someone who could come that quickly. said he could come the following morning and he could arrive at 8:30am as I had other things to do that morning and needed some to come between 8 and 9am. He arrived just as he said he would. He found the line into the house. He capped the line and disconnected the line from the outside. He gave me instructions to give to the concrete layers about the part of the line that would be left in the ground. He was very professional and easy to work with. He explained things very well. He was very neat about his work. I have used other plumbers before and was very impressed with him. I would definately use him again."

"After explaining the possible repairs, and giving an estimate, the cost was $30 less than estimate and everything is repaired!! They also gave us an estimate on a tankless hot water system, and explained how it works."

" My hot water tank was on its way out, so I had shopped around for a while for prices. I decided to go with Woods (I used them a few times before) because they could come out the soonest. They are a little pricier than other companies, but I was willing to pay a little more for quicker service and the service warranty. The rep who answered the phone answered all of my questions thoroughly and was pleasant and professional. They plumbers came out, replaced the hot water tank and left.
The only complaint I have is that the inspector came out and said that the plumber did not install the correct size pipe on the tank. I called Woods the second the inspector left the house and made an appointment to have the situation corrected. I voiced my concern that the plumber should have known that this wouldn't make code and the rep completely agreed and apologized. The rep went ahead and scheduled me in quickly (even though normally they would wait to receive the paperwork to confirm the failed inspection). Another plumber showed up a day or two, corrected the situation and my tank passed inspection."

"Received quotes for 2 non-tankless water heaters. Found a coupon on Angie's List for water heater replacement, that turned out to be vaguely worded, and caused me to be unhappy. The coupon states "Angie's List members will receive 15% off up to $500. Not valid with tankless water heaters and not valid with any other offer". We were thinking $330 off ($2200 x 15%), and since that total was <$500 maximum coupon amount, we were good. But when we presented the coupon, and in subsequent phone conversation, were were told that the value of the coupon was a . of $75 ($500 x 15%). We were given $75 off, but the situation left a bad taste in my mouth. Aside from the coupon issue, the work was done very well, promptly, professionally. "

"We needed two bathroom vanities replaced and some other small things done. When came to give us the estimate, he let us know that he would need to bring in a licensed plumber for one part of the job. worked up his estimate item by item and also gave us the plumber's estimate.
He was right on time on our start date. The plumber he used also arrived in a timely manner.
Replacing the master vanity required removal of the existing one-sink vanity, installing the new cabinet and granite top, removing and later replacing the mirror, plumbing for the two-sink vanity, installing the new faucets, and some drywall repair. It all went really well except for cutting down the size of the mirror--it broke. and his assistant cleaned it all up. The cost of the new mirror was split 50/50--no problem.
The second vanity was a small vanity in a very tight space. They did well. A modification was needed to get drawer of the new cabinet to fit around the existing plumbing, and they had a great solution for it. They also installed the new faucet.
They replaced a difficult- to-reach light fixture for us. recommended lowering the new fixture (on it's chain) so it's not so hard to reach. Terrific!
and replaced some rotten trim on our porch post, repaired and refreshed some drywall in a utiltiy area, and replaced a faucet in another bathroom. Between the estimate date and first day of work, we developed a pin-hole leak in a supply pipe. While and the plumber were here, they addressed that also. The best part of course is that the leak never got out of hand, but also did a great job with the drywall repair in our living room ceiling.
The complete job was accomplished over a few separate visits. and do a great job cleaning up after themselves. couldn't be more polite. has a good sense of humor and is good company while he's here.
We'll be calling him again, I'm sure."

" arrived on time and proceeded to the problem. The drainpipe was sawed off and replaced with a PVC pipe with appropriate connectors (not Fernco but better). He had to bust up concrete and dig to pipe that was solid in order to connect. He was exceptionally clean as I has expected to be cleaning cement dust from everything but that wasn't necessary. I am really impressed by 's professionalism and skill. I will definitely use him again and have already suggested him to other ."

" When came out to possibly replace the sump pump, he informed me that the switch on our sump pump responds to pressure and not water level, as such it can respond differently but also get stuck in the 'on' position. He tested the "float" of the pump and was able to trip the sump into working. He then suggested that we pour water into the pit and check if it will turn on by itself. Sure enough, after pouring 10 gallons of water into the pit, the sump pump kicked on and drained the water normally. As such, I avoided paying ~$330 (before Angie's List discount) to replace the functioning pump and they did not charge a trip/service fee for this either. The quoted price was $50 to $100 higher than an estimate that I received from another highly ranked company in Angie's List."

"As a part of exterior remodel at our home, I was looking for someone to strip and repaint our metal porch roof. After contacting various painters via their web sites, was the only painter to provide an estimate. Once we accepted the estimate, work began immediately. Overall work took approximately two days, but with several rainy days in between. and kept us very informed of status and communicated during the delays. Everyone was very courteous, professional and efficient. Surrounding work area was kept very clean, and end result is excellent. All-in-all a job well done. I would definitely recommend to others, and will likely use again on future projects."

" removed a faulty and unnecessary temperature-limiting valve adjacent to the water heater which was preventing hot water from reaching the kitchen. They replaced copper piping to bypass the valve and to eliminate a couple of potentially bad fittings. They did a neat job and cleaned up afterward. The problem seems to be solved."
