Plumbing Reviews in Columbus

Provider charged $325 for a simply repair. Was going to charge $100 for a
to support supply line. A 3min job with a $3
. Come on!

was our service person and he called 20-30 minutes before arrival to give me his arrival time. I like this as I only live a few miles from home and am able to leave the office when called and meet service companies at my home without taking a lot of time off.
plumbers are very considerate of your home and cover their feet and
floor coverings to protect your surroundings.

Installation under the sink in a very tight area is no easy feat in our kitchen and
accomplished this in a timely manner. He cleaned up the area and removed all debris then asked me to check out the workings of the new faucet to make sure I was happy with the install. This is something not all service providers ask.

I have used
Plumbers before and was very happy with their service and that was why I chose them again.

servicemen are very experienced! We were told by three other plumbers that in order to repair our leaking faucets, the tiles had to be removed. Not only it would cost us, but also there won't be matching tiles available on the

plumbing came to our house and fixed our leaking faucets in a very short time without breaking the tiles. We couldn't thank them enough.

I have been a customer of Waterworks for many years. They have performed numerous repairs and maintenance to plumbing in my bathroom, kitchen, basement & sewer line. I have never had one complaint about the quality of the work, professionalism, punctuality. etc. I have and will continue to recommend Waterworks to anyone. Prices are not the cheapest, but the charges are fair considering the expertise of the technicians and the quality of the work they perform. Plus as I mentioned above, they usually have coupons or discounts available.

I bought the $99 offer and called to schedule the visit. The first two scheduled appointments they never showed up and I had to call to find our what happened. They finally showed up on the third visit. The service was performed, they were very helpful and informative.

The appointment was set via message, and

(?) and a younger gentleman arrived when they said he would. I have had this type of work done before, so I was not unfamiliar with the process, and I had recently been told through a city sewer project exactly how much my drain was blocked and exactly where the intrusion was. In short, I feel they could taken a little more care in entering my home, placing the equipment and cleaning up after themselves. I had to clean up damp and dirty footprints off the floors, wash the towels that they used to clean up (I gave them permission to use some old towels I had nearby, because I don't know what else they would have used), and the equipment left black scratches on my ceramic tile that I have not been able to remove. I was also quite surprised that I was not asked to sign a scope-of-work agreement and/or sign any documents indicating that I acknowledged that the work was completed.

I found these guys on Angie's List highly rated, but was sorely disappointed with the guy that came out. The two issues I have are 1) the guest bath nob to turn from bath to shower isn't working, and 2) the pipes make a knocking sound when the water's on. We started in the guest bath. He was warning me about the potential unknown costs after he started the job and was talking about cutting access panels. I asked him to explain to me why he would have to get to the pipes in the wall if the issue was with the hardware and possibly a stem. He couldn't explain it in a way that made sense, and I'm no dummy. The price he quoted for that was $275 and up from there. No thanks! So, we went to the basement to listen to the knocking sound. He diagnosed that the loud piped were from a bathroom remodel and that the sound only existed when using water from that bathroom. I immediately showed him that was false by turning on the basement faucet. He said he was going to get a second opinion, but never did, and quoted $300 plus just to look into it further. I had him charge me for the consult and was not comfortable proceeding based on the scary consult I received. I do not recommend using them if the other plumbers they employ are like the one that came to my house.

My 96 year old mother needed a plumber to repair an outside faucet that was leaking. It appeared EcoPlumbers had very good reviews on Angies list so I gave their phone number to my mother. The provider was polite; it took less than an hour for him to complete the work. We don't understand how the service charge, hourly rate and cost of parts could have been almost $500. Also, the provider didn't leave a receipt for the work. We feel the provider made a mistake when calculating the charges and that a refund and receipt should be provided to my mother.

I called in the morning and was able to schedule service for that afternoon. The first plumber I called couldn't come out until Monday (this was Wed.).

was very nice to work with, efficient, and seemed to know what he was doing. He completed all the work in about an hour, and I think the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely use this company the next time I need a plumber.

I must say the plumber arrived as promised. And, since I had called at 5 pm , right at closing time, the fact that they were able to get a plumber out the first thing in the morning ( 7:45 am) was appreciated. The work was good. BUT pricing was crazy! first there was a service call fee ($45), then there was a feel to replace the wax ring, which we provided ($109) then there was a very large fee to replace the flange ($280!) so, The Overall fee and tax was over $400. Fortunately we were given a discount because we had found them on Angie's list so it brought it down to $375. The problem with all plumbers is, once they do show up, you are kind of a hostage. I was not going to go without a toilet......, So, of course I wasn't going to tell him that the prices he was saying were unacceptable! This plumber said " The book price on this is....." Sounds a lot like price controls.
Would I use them again, if, given the opportunity to shop price in advance , and they came in close to all other quotes, Yes. If I could find another company, with

rates, probably not.
