Knee Care Reviews in Columbus

I was referred to Dr.
from my primary care doctor because of a knee that hadn't completely healed from a fall in January. I also had achilles tendon swelling and pain. I was taken to an exam room and discussed my issues with the nurse. Then in came another doctor (not Dr.
) and a female assistant. They asked me lots of questions, examined my knee and ankle and left. They both returned with Dr.
. He for the most part sat at the computer and told the other doctor what to do/look at. They ultimately decided I needed the fluid drained from my knee and a steroid shot. Rather than discuss these treament options, the next thing I know I'm laying back and being stabbed with various needles. There was a very cursory look at my ankle and then I was given two sheets of paper. One with an order for a knee brace, and another for physical therapy for my ankle. No discussion. I was so overwhelmed with the number of people in the small exam room, I literally couldn't think of the questions I should logically ask (not that there was an opportunity for that). As a side note -- I got a second opinion on the ankle and it had a 40% tear of the achilles. He should have found that himself before ordering PT. I understand that he is apparently a heavy hitter with professional sports teams in the city, but I don't feel that is an excuse for being rushed and not giving the proper care and explanation to the patient.

It was unbelievably professional. It's so obvious that these people have been trained to care for patients. They are very pleasant, positive and happy people. Very clean and orderly service. They have beautiful facilities. They have specialists that really know what they are doing. They are owners in the company so they are very concerned with the service they provide. They are very responsive and they never keep me waiting. They take into consideration what they patient needs and wants.
