Columbus Ophthalmologists Reviews

"The experience was excellent. He was just probably one of the best in the city. He was awarded the eye specialist of the year several times. The staff was really good. He could get a little busy."

"He’s awesome; very patient, and he has a soft, gentle touch. His staff is wonderful and the office is awesome. It’s in a brand new district, so everything there is brand spanking new. Their punctual and polite, and they take my insurance. He does a very thorough exam. He also taught me about the anatomy and physiology of the eye, which was very interesting. He explains why he does what he does, which reassures me and makes me feel comfortable that he knows what he’s doing."

"They are excellent. I go to Dr.
Columbus Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
for ophthalmology and Dr. DeNaeyer for optometry. There are doctors who specialize in glaucoma, for example, depending on what area of specialty I need treatment in. I also see Dr.
Columbus Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
. It is like everything under one roof in that practice. Doctors have the access to same recording in terms of treatments, medications and in terms of what’s going on."

"Average wait time, staff was very friendly, worked well with bringing my child. I didn't have to wait long at all for him and felt like he did a good job at assessing my eyes. He was friendly and would definitely recommend him to anyone."

"On his first consult the doctor tried to push surgery for two days later. After arguing with the scheduling person we decided on June 10. We were give 3 different
Columbus Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
options and we had decided on one procedure. However, on the day of surgery, after my husband was given a Valium and was put in the surgery chair the doctor "decided to change the procedure and do what was in the best interest of the patient". However, no post-operative care was explained to my husband. We had decided on one procedure that would allow my husband to go back to work the following Monday. However, all weekend my husband had pain and could not keep his eyes opened. When we called the doctor we were told my nurses that it was normal. However, they failed to tell us that it could take up to 5 days before he would be able to open his eyes. As I work for a surgeon, the post-operative course is the most crucial part of any surgery and it WAS NOT EXPLAINED. Had we know the "different procedure" would have a longer recovery period we would not have chosen to do the procedure until we could accommodate our schedules. A surgeon should NEVER be allowed to change a procedure LAST MINUTE on someone. My husband should have been informed prior to being put into the operating room what the post-operative course would have been. We were told we would not be charged for the new procedure which was several hundred dollar difference in what we had paid 20 minutes prior. I will never recommend this place again. It is an assembly line and they totally disregard informed patient consent. "

"She went in for a routine eye examination. My wife was called in from the waiting room 10 minutes prior to her appointment time. They performed many tests and found that here present glasses were still good, but discovered that she had developed blepharitis in both eyes. The cure is fairly

"We see him every month when we are in Ohio. We think that he is an excellent doctor and does really good job. He is really a super doctor. We would tell others that he is a retina specialist and he seems to know what he is doing. He has a nice bedside manner. We have never had an emergency, but just scheduling an appointment just one month in advance he is pretty available. "
