"Overall the move went well. It was ALOT of furniture and boxes and odd lots from the garage and basement. They packed the kitchen, DR and fragiles from the LR. No dings or nicks to the furniture or the walls of either house. Some of the boxes ended up on the wrong floor but not many. We had some boxes still in closets at the end of the day but once ...more we went through the whole house and reported the stragglers they got them in right away. The in-house estimate prior to the move was off by a rather large number in packing paper and boxes which would have increased the final price by hundreds of dollars. We were able to arrive at an acceptable total. I do not think any move of this size can be easy and we did not have alot of time to pack prior to it but they got the job done in emptying the house in one day.
