"The project went excellently and was completed pretty much on time. A few weather delays (snow and ice) slowed the project at the end but that was unavoidable. We were so pleased with this job we now have the company under contract for another, much smaller project.
I would recommend . The project came in right on budget except for a few modifications that we decided to make during the process. All changes were agreed upon in advance with a signed change order. There were no surprises!"

"Returned call promptly, made appointment to come see the area. Arrived as scheduled, sent estimate same day. Scheduled the work for two days a week later. Arrived on time every day, was very clean and left the kitchen usable each night. Price was exactly as quoted. I am very happy with the finished project, will call again for future home projects."

Columbus Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Reviews

" I searched over a month on Angie's list for a contractor and met with at least three contractors for an estimate and to gauge how receptive the contractors were to my needs. I finally settled with after a visit from and Cita. They were pleasant and understood exactly what needed to be done. I signed a contract with them in mid-May 2010 and they told me that they were going to start soon because they had a large project coming up and they were just finishing up another. estimated that time to complete the project to be 7-10 days. This was important since I only have 1 1/2 baths and both will be renovated. I had also explained that I took the entire month of May off from work to be available during this remodel.
Their other project became delayed and they did not start until about June 2010. The estimated time for completion then became "about 2 weeks" and then finally three weeks. They did not finish the project until four weeks later on 12, 2010.
Initially, the remodel went well. was very careful about putting plastic sheeting over the carpet and cleaned up every night as promised. However, I noticed that his workers had used some of my personal tools to complete their tasks (i.e. wrecking bar, carpenter's square, etc) and didn't even put the items back where they found them. During the middle of the renovation, they were inadvertently locked out of my house. I was out of town at the time and didn't receive the messages until several hours later. However, my neighbor also called me and said that she and two other people witnessed the tile guy and the other workers pushing up and against my garage door forcefully to the point where damage was obvious. When I returned home, I did notice damage to my garage door and brought the issue up with . asked his tile guy and the other workers if they did push on the garage door and they denied doing so. I also pointed out the damage to the garage door panel and he said that it appeared to be old damage.
Towards the end of the remodel, I noticed damage in the kitchen ceiling which was consistent in the area where the damage was to the half bath. It appeared that during the renovation of the upstairs bathroom, the workers punched through the corner of the kitchen ceiling. I pointed this out to and once again he stated that this was old damage. I insisted that it was not and he patched the area up with some spackle.
At the end of the remodel, I inquired if the tiles and grout were sealed (I contacted the tile shop where the tiles were purchased and they said that sealant was a must) and said that the tiles did not need to be sealed. I did a little more research and everything that I read/heard strongly suggested that the tiles should be sealed. I contacted again and asked him if he would seal the tiles. said, "no" at first, but then later agreed to seal the tiles. He also asked that I leave the final payment when he came back to seal the tiles. When I came home from work, the check was gone and I could not tell if the tiles were sealed or not.
I felt that the project ended on a very bad note in that I was extremely frustrated and angry because the incidents became a "he-said-she-said" situation. even went so far to blame his partner, Cita, for some of the issues that came up (regarding timing, budget, etc.).
Overall, and Cita completed the work I asked for (and even went beyond by installing a doorbell and a light fixture; they also upgraded the countertop to granite "at no fee"), but I felt that I should have had a better experience. Looking back, I would like to say that it was worth the cost, but since they wouldn't provide an itemized statement (they charge per job, not per hour), I guess I'll never know."

" came in and looked at the tub/shower surround. We talked about what we wanted, he measured and said he would get the tile. Within two weeks he was back to finish the job. It looks fantastic! This is the second job has done for us and he is the best at doing tile work. "

"We needed two bathroom vanities replaced and some other small things done. When came to give us the estimate, he let us know that he would need to bring in a licensed plumber for one part of the job. worked up his estimate item by item and also gave us the plumber's estimate.
He was right on time on our start date. The plumber he used also arrived in a timely manner.
Replacing the master vanity required removal of the existing one-sink vanity, installing the new cabinet and granite top, removing and later replacing the mirror, plumbing for the two-sink vanity, installing the new faucets, and some drywall repair. It all went really well except for cutting down the size of the mirror--it broke. and his assistant cleaned it all up. The cost of the new mirror was split 50/50--no problem.
The second vanity was a small vanity in a very tight space. They did well. A modification was needed to get drawer of the new cabinet to fit around the existing plumbing, and they had a great solution for it. They also installed the new faucet.
They replaced a difficult- to-reach light fixture for us. recommended lowering the new fixture (on it's chain) so it's not so hard to reach. Terrific!
and replaced some rotten trim on our porch post, repaired and refreshed some drywall in a utiltiy area, and replaced a faucet in another bathroom. Between the estimate date and first day of work, we developed a pin-hole leak in a supply pipe. While and the plumber were here, they addressed that also. The best part of course is that the leak never got out of hand, but also did a great job with the drywall repair in our living room ceiling.
The complete job was accomplished over a few separate visits. and do a great job cleaning up after themselves. couldn't be more polite. has a good sense of humor and is good company while he's here.
We'll be calling him again, I'm sure."

"They are real great to deal with. When you call them they either answer you on the phone or reach home quickly. We have made several changes to what we wanted to do. If you had any questions they would answer them for you. They give great feed back to any questions we have had whether it is work or how to do it. They were very accommodating to all the changes we wanted throughout the project. They have great variety and they gave us a good price. They were far cheaper than any other company we have been quoted. Sometimes it seemed that the work took long and sometimes it seemed as if they were very fast. The project took longer than the time frame they said it would take. But the size of the project was very large in itself. We would again use them in the future."

" came in one day and looked at the bathroom, talked about what we wanted and then he measured for the countertop. He ordered the countertop and when it came in, he came out and installed it.. It all was so easy. Stve leaves his jobs very clean and done perfectly."

"This was as smooth an experience as I have ever had.
's strong suit is communication. He is extremely responsive and keeps you up to the minute on how the project is going. Attention to detail and committment to a high quality product are also strong points for him.
I also found him to be very fair-minded whenever we encountered any bumps in the road, of which there were precious few.
I would recommend without any hesitation and would certainly work with him again."

"He did an excellent job, top to bottom! He was very creative in doing things. A remodeling job is more difficult to do than total construction. We asked him to remodel what was already existing and add a few items and he did that wonderfully. Did a few extra things past what was estimated and went above and beyond."

"I cannot say enough about the professionalism and kindness of this man and his employees. They were always there exactly when they said they would be, they did excellent work, and I quickly felt comfortable going about my business and leaving them alone in my home for long periods of time. Moreover, he is a PERFECTIONIST, and is not happy until the job is perfect and the customers satisfied. We considered his price to be fair and very reasonable (we paid for all materials in addition to his fee, of course). I hope we can get him back for our other bathroom in a year or so!! I recommend him without reservation!!"
