Both
and
run the company, they assist in any way that they can, by phone, stopping by, changing information to the answering service, etcetera. They have always been rapid in their response. They are pleasant at all times. The answering service has been helpful and courteous. They are a lot less expensive and with no false alarms, no workmen that don't know the equipment and have to send out another service rep a week later like the last company we used. We anticipate keeping their service permanently.

This company uses extremely deceptive methods to lure customers. The initial caller claims to be from ADT (which currently monitors our system for about $58/month, so of course I'm interested in lowering that). The "verification manager" then has the "technician" contact you about the actual upgrade, a wireless keypad, smartphone capability, etc.) When pressed, the caller claims to be a "broker" who has access to all these rates and can find you the best price for monitoring. When further pressed, the caller claims the company is owned by GE, which makes ADT equipment. (Not sure if this is true.) The company's name?
. And
and behold, the best monitoring rate is with
! $35.99/month/3 year contract. They will let you believe they are with ADT unless you demand quite specific information. But why would ADT call me and offer to upgrade my system and lower my cost? What's in it for them? Nothing, because it's not even ADT calling. When asked how reliable their service is, they further claim to be the #2 rated provider in the US. But Google "
" and you'll find nothing but angry, betrayed, dissatisfied customers. From the first phone call, they're lying to you. don't buy it!!!!

Our system is basic - you punch in a code and the red light shows that it's engaged. A green light means you can open doors and the system won't go off. It has always worked this way and there was nothing to tell me that, in fact, my system had become disconnected and was no longer hooked up to
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
for monitoring. The only thing that was different was a "FC" showed up on my touch pad at some point. I learned that this means "failure to communicate." Subsequent to the "FC" showing up, (in January 2014), a contractor came to do some work and said that I might want to call
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
to let them know we would be disconnecting the system while he worked on our kitchen. After all, if they aren't monitoring it for the next two months, why should I pay for it? But I also didn't want them to see that things were disconnected and become concerned. To my surprise, the woman who answered the phone told me that it was my responsibility to call them when I saw the "FC" on my system. In other words, it's my fault. Her
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
was not very helpful. She said I had to continue to pay the bill over the next two months even though we weren't using the system, and that after we were done with the construction, we could sign up for a new 3 year contract.
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
, thanks. Apparently there is NOTHING on their end to tell them that the phone line is disconnected and that the system I'm paying for is useless and isn't being properly monitored. They don't check the lines. I called again in May when I got the bill and just said I'm cancelling. Once again I was told (in so many words) that it's my fault. I'm supposed to check the lines once a month (per the contract I don't have a copy of). Not them. They said there's no way they can check the phone lines of 1700 customers a month. So....if a robber cuts your phone lines,
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
won't know it. And if a weird code like "FC" shows up on your touchpad, be sure to call them RIGHT AWAY. The
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
is on you: not them. Makes you wonder what the heck you're paying for.

It was a wonderful experience and the services are as advertised. Setup was extremely easy and in addition to the professional monitoring, it is nice to be able to monitor and modify the system in real time from a computer or cell phone.

.I called the
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
to cancel her service and was on hold for over
an hour and a half. I spoke to 4 different people and they all said
they would have to transfer me to another dept. EACH one said the same
thing when I told them I was cancelling the service. By the time the 4th
person,

the very same day. Imagine my surprise when I have a BILL from them for the next month. My mother does not use their service. I will also report them to BBB and Atty General's office

Took advantage of a big deal offer on a wireless home security system from
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
. Everything was pretty easy - they ship the items to you and you self install. There is really nothing to it beyond following the instructions and selecting a monitoring plan (if you choose to use one).
The self-install was fairly easy though we ran into an issue where the keypads were pre-programmed to monitor a door that did not exist. Fixing that issue was as
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
as removing a component from the list but it was a bit of an annoyance at first. The only other major concern was that
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
professed to have no record of whether a permit was needed in my area... a
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
on Google indicated that yes, a permit was required... so that was a small but unexpected fee.
Their wireless system is fairly nice and easy-to-use; though the website definitely encourages you to upgrade to a more robust monitoring plan to gain access to features like smartphone app access and multiple access codes.

The system arrived and was packaged very well. It had easy to understand directions and was easy to install. We had it up and running in about 20 mins. We also downloaded the Alarmco app and it works great. Easiest thing we have done!

I had an attempted break in on Thursday, I spoke with a representative on Friday. She tried to get me scheduled that day but her installers were booked for the day however she was able to schedule me for an early morning appointment on Saturday.
Columbus Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
arrived promptly, accessed my property and my needs. He provided a plan and cost involved; once I made a decision he got right to work. After the system was installed he got me set up on both the computer and phone so I could monitor my system and turn it on and off. He was very thorough and patient. Can't say enough about the experience and I would highly recommend them.
