"They were on time and performed the service while I was at work. Most of the bad leaks were repaired. I may need them to come back again this Spring. But all in all, they did a very good job.

"I was tired of having to get my gutters cleaned each year as I have a pin oak tree that sheds its leaves late and the weather usually was very cold when I had to call to have it done. I decided to get new gutters with a leaf-guard system.
In late November I spoke to

, the office manager of
Columbus Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
Seamless Gutters, and within a few days someone came out to measure my gutters and I was sent an e-mail estimate. I accepted the estimate and someone then dropped off color samples to make my selection which I e-mailed back to

. The gutters were ordered but, due to the extreme cold temperatures and snow, the job could not be done until this week (the beginning of February).
I am very pleased with the end result, the pleasantness and professionalism of the workers and the fact that everything was cleaned up after they were finished.

was a delight to work with and made this transaction as easy as possible. I would definitely recommend this firm to others.

"The crews seemed to know what they were doing and the job was done quickly. The problems that needed to be corrected appear to have been solved and we are pleased with the result.

"The price was around what I stated. I don't remember the exact. My sump pump ran fairly consistently then after the service it hardly runs at all and there is usually not much water in my sump pit. Hopefully it's because the problem was just that bad. The work was done quickly. I did get double billed, apparently due to the generation of a second invoice for the same work. Could have been an honest mistake, but save your receipts.

"It went very well, the installers arrived as scheduled and were very professional. They had to remove the existing gutters, install new alumininum soffits on the roof overhang, and then rehang the gutters. They also removed old wood siding from the roof peaks and installed new siding. We had included a contingency fee incase more work was needed after the old siding was removed so I was not surprised with an overage charge when the plywood sheathing needed replaced.
The workers cleaned up all the debris and were very careful around all my bushes and plants around the house.

's work was as he described it would be and what I expected as he had replaced gutters, soffits and roof at my mother's house previously. He made a recommendation to add a downspout to carry the water discharge from the upper roof to the lower roof gutter which I wasn't

knows his stuff and his suggestion will extend the life of the roof. His price was very good compared with the other bids and again I had some knowledge of his prior work so I felt very confident that I was getting a good value (and he gave a 5% Angie's List discount).

"The only draw back from this experience is that in my opinion it took too long from the time I contacted the company to actual time window was installed. Perhaps it was due to the holiday season, I don't know. I had a window that was vandalized and I needed it replaced as soon as possible. I contacted
Columbus Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
the last week of November but it took several weeks before the window did actually get installed. The window didn't get installed until Thursday, December 26th even though I was told it would be installed on Tuesday, December 24th. I didn't get a call telling me that installation would be delayed until December 26th either. I have used this company before and never had any problems and they have always did a good job for me. Even though this time didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked, I would use them again.

"On 12/2, I called the company that had installed my Gutter Toppers to see if they would reinstall my downspout that had come completely detached from the house in a recent storm. They didn't do that service but referred me to
Columbus Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
which I looked up on Angie's List. I called Prof. G& D and left a message on 12/2 asking for an estimate and left my landline number. I didn't receive any callback on the landline so on 12/4 afternoon I requested an estimate through their web page. I received a call back the next morning and later discovered that they had called back on 12/2 and left a message on my cell phone of which I was unaware (I must have called on the cell and they just replied back on that number). He gave me an estimate over the phone for doing a gutter tuneup to check, and tighten and clean everything which would include reattaching the downspout. It was for two men for one hour. It would be $135=$150-15 Angie's List Discount. They had people ahead of me and so thought they would get to me in the week of 12/16 and would let me know when the day before they were coming. In the meantime it snowed and then melted and water poured out of the hole in the gutter where the downspout should be. I put down a tarp and several Totes and trash cans to collect as much water as possible. When they filled I had to empty them by dumping the water over the fence into a trash can then going to the front side of the fence and either pouring buckets down the drainline (where the downspout should go into the ground) or carrying buckets to the

. Some of the time the water froze into huge ice cubes in the containers and I had to wait for it to melt to be able to empty them. Despite my efforts the ground in this area became saturated, the window well near this downspout filled with water from beneath (it had a window well cover on it) and water came into my basement along the bottom

of that window and also along about 5 feet of the wall/floor seam below that window. I was mopping up water repeatedly for several days. I knew the delay was partly due to the weather preventing them from working some of that time and due to the holidays. On 12/27, I called them again to politely ask if they could tell me how many people were still ahead of me and when they thought they might get to me. I politely explained that my basement would be leaking until the repair was done and that more rain and snow were coming. They said with the weather finally improving they would be working the entire weekend and I should call back on Monday when they could give me a better idea. Sunday afternoon was when it started raining heavily, then snowing, then getting colder as the polar vortex approached. I called on Monday and was told there were 3 to 4 people ahead of me. Monday evening they called to say they would come Tuesday morning (New Years Eve) around 9am. We discussed that they could reuse the materials I had except they might need more straps and that the gutters are cream. They called before coming and showed up on time around 9:30am. There were 2 men, one did the tune up while the other reattached the downspout. They had the right color straps on the truck and used my materials for the rest. I asked him to kick any branches off the roof that he saw. He used a blower and blew the roof clean. It took about 1/2 hour. At the end the lead guy gave me a run down of what they had done. He had tightened everything. The gutter toppers were doing well at keeping the gutters free of debris. The downspouts were clear. He tightened a loose flashing strip which I knew had been raised up for many years. He said the roof looked in good condition, the caulk around the vents in the roof all looked good. They cleaned up the large sticks they had blown down. I gave him a copy of my Angie's List coupon to take back to the office. While it was inconvenient that they couldn't come sooner, I was grateful they got me in when they did because it was right before more snow, and horrific subzero temperatures and windchill advisories. I couldn't have gone out in that to deal with water problems and I surely would have gotten more basement leaking had it not been repaired. I would probably have had a long wait with any company I chose. The bill came in the mail and it was $150 (no
Columbus Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
discount). I called their office and was told to just deduct the $15 when I sent payment. He did remember seeing my coupon. The team that came was professional and I would use them again.

"They were very prompt in coming out to give a quote and didn't try to oversell. I was concerned about possibly adding a new downspout but was told that was not necessary. I had other work that needed completed first so they were very patient waiting to come do the work. There was some miscommunication in the work that was supposed to be completed, but they came back out the next day and fixed it.

"I was in the

for a complete roofing job and
Columbus Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
was one of several contractors I met with and requested written estimate. The sales rep, a jovial fella, processed my request and send the estimate by e-mail which I liked since deciphering bad handwriting is a time-consuming process. The sales rep confided in a low-

. Of course, I late realized
Columbus Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
subcontracted the gutter job to a company by the name of A-One Seamless Gutters. I'm satisfied with the gutter job.
Returning to the roofing discussing, my roof required about a little above 11.5 square. The attached florida room was a recent addition to my house so its attic is not connected to the existing home structure. The florida room is ventilated by side vents and roof box vents. So the sales rep initial estimate had the existing roof vents removed and the holes patched. There was a 10% discount to the bill total for being an Angie's List member. Being familiar with my house construction, I felt the proposed solution contained in the initial estimate didn't properly address the ventilation issue. I brought this issue to the sales rep' attention and requested a revised estimate to include the replacement of the existing box vents with new and not patch the holes. So he wrote a new estimate but cunningly left out the discount for the change order. I took a calculator and requested the Angie's List discount be applied to the new total which after some unrelenting the sales rep acquiesced. My previous experience with contractors taught me that they love change order. However, in my case I felt it wasn't really a change order but instead unfamiliarity with the housing structure that went into the writing of the initial estimate and proposed solution.
After waiting about a week for shingle delivery, the roofing job went smooth. My 'Hispanic guys" did their job, didn't damage my properties, and cleaned up after themselves.
