"I cannot say enough about the professionalism and kindness of this man and his employees. They were always there exactly when they said they would be, they did excellent work, and I quickly felt comfortable going about my business and leaving them alone in my home for long periods of time. Moreover, he is a PERFECTIONIST, and is not happy until the job is perfect and the customers satisfied. We considered his price to be fair and very reasonable (we paid for all materials in addition to his fee, of course). I hope we can get him back for our other bathroom in a year or so!! I recommend him without reservation!!"

Long did I want to replace the impossible to clean, out-dated floors in my kitchen and entryway, but knew that I needed an expert's help since it wouldn't be simply a matter of laying new floor over the old. The rooms are so out of square that I wasn't sure anything but plain- sheet vinyl would work. Boy, was I wrong.
Here's a perfect example of why, even with the easiest do-it-yourself flooring, you need someone with experience working with you. knew how to best cut the tiles for minimum waste and maximum eye-appeal; his estimate of materials was right on the money. And where I would have started in one corner with a full tile and ended at the other with an impossibly tiny piece, used his experience and expertise to know where to start, how to cut and most importantly, how to account for hundreds of little "corrections" along the way. My floors look even better than I imagined.
This is the second time we've used Deluxe. Each time their careful attention to detail, patience, and know-how is evident before, during, and after the job. Customer focused and always with our best interest in mind, worked diligently from project onset to completion. The finished project showcases his pride in workmanship - the kind you don't see very often anymore. And the of a good craftsman? Look where no one really sees (the back corners of a closet, for example). Once again, did great finish work there as well. He treats each task as if he were in his own home, taking special care to ensure your satisfaction. Thank you for a job well done - can't wait 'til Spring brings new adventures in home repair!"

"Because we had a terrible experience with our first contractor, we were cautious in selecting a new contractor. Bill answered all of his telephone calls promptly and was prompt in giving us a thorough estimate. He did not ask for any advance money, so we knew he was solvent. Bill was on the job when he said he would be and he was very easy to get along with. He accepted our suggestions and we accepted his. He was available to pick up the materials we ordered from various vendors. We had him perform additional work which he did for a very reasonable price. He did not nickel and dime us for work done that was not spelled out in his estimate. When Bill was finished with our renovation, his price was the same as the estimate. We are very satisfied and we will recommend him to others. We had to wait for his services and we are glad that we did."

"We liked , who gave us an estimate on the work. The work was initially delayed, though, because a prior job took longer than expected. The workmen were competent, and they repaired some problems with the sub-floor, which we thought was great. We were, however, disappointed with the trim. Hardhat installed trim connecting our existing molding to the floor. The color of the newly installed trim did not match the existing trim, and it protrudes farther than our door frames. It looks like a DIY job, and we feel like we could have benefited from advice about the color choice (wood versus white). Furthermore, after seeing the downstairs trim, we requested matching trim for the upstairs (white trim). In our walk-in closet, though, where our existing trim was wood, the workmen installed white trim anyway. To reiterate, they put white trim between our existing wood trim and the wood floor. It looks very silly. Overall, we love the floors-- they are beautiful-- we just wish that we had better supervised the trim work. If you plan to hire Hardhat, don't be shy. Describe, in detail, exactly what you want."

"I have worked with , the salesperson, before so I knew she would be helpful. I picked out the tile that I liked and she asked all the right questions to determine if it was the best choice. As it turned out, the glossy that I liked would not have fared well with dining room chairs and a piano bench that gets moved all the time. She offered alternatives and I took some samples home. She came to my home the next day to pick up the samples and give her opinion. There was less than a 2 week wait for installation.
The workers arrived on time (first thing in the morning) and worked until 6 pm each day. They were supposed to finish in 2 - 3 days but it took them a week. Although they didn't speak English very well, we were able to communicate when necessary. They were very respectful, courteous and cleaned up quite nicely when they were done. The floor looks beautiful and we are very pleased."
