"They gave us drawings and provided with the detailed list of the work to be done and the cost for each item. They gave us dates that they could start and finish. They also gave us a disc that shows some of the work that they had already done. They are doing the work currently."

"Sent in an online service request Thursday Morning. By mid-morning the company had returned my call, gave me a quote and scheduled a service window for noon-1. Our

was prompt and courteous. He corrected the toilet issue, found another issue that needed to be addressed on the same toilet. (bolts that hadn't been tightened when the toilet was installed by another company), adjusted the water level in the tank and repaired the loose stair step. Looking forward to working with this company again."

Columbus General Contractors Reviews

"We had a major renovation and the contractor was a man in
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
and he's done a fine job for us. He was a principle contractor, he walked us through the whole thing. The people he brought in were terrific and he did a great job. He is a very creative and a conscientious guy and he obviously knows a lot of excellent sub contractors out in his area which is important. He put on a new roof on the house and garage. He did new gutters, siding, repaired concrete front, back and drive, renovated a basement room which involved replacing the ceiling, re-casing the windows, custom built furniture at one end for entertainment center, new lighting and rewiring, carpeting and so forth. It was a big project. He is a very personable guy. Everybody he brought in was excellent. All the sub contractors were really nice guys and they did the right stuff and it was great. His price was competitive. "

"We remodeled our kitchen last year and wanted the old cabinets installed in a basement workroom. I called
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
for an estimate and he came out the next day and asked great questions and gave us some ideas of which cabinets should go where and the fact that not all the cabinets would fit in the space. We decided to have
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
hang the left over cabinet in our garage.
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
arrived on the date set for the work. We had 6" of snow the night before and
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
was less than 10 minutes late and called to tell us he would be slightly late due to the snow. When he arrived he got right to work and got everything done in one day. He installed 6 cabinets and new countertop in the workroom and an additional cabinet in the garage. He took it upon himself to hang the cabinet in the garage using a french cleat so we could move the cabinet if, at a later date, we decided we wanted it in a different location. This was a great idea that we hadn't thought of. His work was excellent, very precise. We thought the workroom looked so good it could pass as a second kitchen!

also cleaned up the best I have had any workman clean up and I have had many people work for me over the years. I was very impressed with

Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
was recommended to me by a former contractor who moved out of the state recently. He was friendly, very prompt in both arriving and answering/returning calls. His work is very professional, precise and thorough. The upgrades to my bathroom make it look like a complete remodel. Even when a supplier provided an incorrect faucet,
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
made it right within a few days. The door he installed in our basement is probably the nicest door we have in our entire house. It opens and closes easily with no noise.
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
took care of the entire process from ordering the door to framing and installation. I would hire
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
again without hesitation.

is the guy you want for the job. He is exactly the name of his company: honest and trustworthy. He does what he says he's going to and he shows up when he says he's going to. His workmanship is exceptional, his integrity and professionalism is without competition. I could go on and on - certainly seemingly as if I get something out of it - which, I'm not. Fact is, by writing this I am cutting off my own nose - as word gets out he will be less and less available to do my work. I gutted and renovated a single family two story w/basement home in the University View neighborhood in 2008. Midway through I realized that, as a single (and slight of build) female, I wasn't going to be able to do as much as I thought with my own hands. I asked a friend who owns 6 single family rentals if she could refer a carpenter. She gave me Pat's number. Pat gave me a written estimate and when I was ready, he fit me in the schedule. He and his crew executed the work flawlessly, on time and within the original price quoted. I have been unable to write this until now due to the success of my rental and subsequent projects. But, I know that Pat is every bit as good now as he was in 2008. As a matter of fact, I am getting ready to secure a proposal for another $15k-$20k worth of work on my primary residence before the end of this year (2010). I am anxious that he will be too busy, but know that, if his number is competitive with the other two contractors, that I will select him over the others. He's that good."

Tiller was always very puctual and easy to get a hold of. In addition to the work listed above we also decided that the sub floor in that room needed at least 1/4 replaced. When the work was "done" all the above work was completed except the sub floor replacement. The problem was I thought it was necessary and the carpenter doing the job decided it wasn't. I used
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
because I wanted that done and they were the only ones willing to do it. This caused a problem because
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
Tiller did not itemize the estimate and kind of guess-timated the actual final bill. After some negotiating
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
met me half way on a final price, but in the end I had someone who would have done the same work for about $350 less. I also had to call them back out to re-do a sloppy sealent job. In the end I really felt like the carpenter was a bit bored with the whole project. I do not have a problem with the overall quality of work perfomed, but when you have a clear understanding of what is to be done you expect it to be done.

"I bought a bank owned place and there had been some water damage by upstairs bathroom, the floor board was replaced incorrectly, so I contacted
Columbus General Contractors Provider Name Locked
and he was prompted with coming out and fair priced and did a great job."

"In the time we were in contract to when the work started, we had some trim boards replaced and they primed those. They did not charge extra. We are really pleased with the quality of the work they did. Before we paid them, we did a walk through to make sure we had it looking the way we wanted it to. Their clean up was very good and they did great with not leaving a mess behind."

"The water leak: it went very well, quick and professional. The garage door fix: it was fixed, but the carpenters left a bit of a mess. There was quite a lot of sawdust in the garage as well as other tell-tale signs of repair (although the repair itself was done very well). After the snow around the garage melted I found many many screws, nails, and even razors on the side of the garage. In the past, I have never had a problem with a mess after service from this company, so I suspect it was that this particular crew just didn't pay attention to this part of the job."
