Needless to say, the prospect of someone cutting a hole in the side of your house ...more is daunting. From the start, however, the team exemplified expert skillmanship and professionalism. Thoughtful respect for our home and contents was exemplified in their prep work - things like securing plastic over the cabinets, while heavy-gauge drop cloths protected the floors from damage anywhere they might walk. End of the day clean-up found me drop-jawed in appreciation of their thoroughness. The substantial amount of Day One work left us in awe. I fully expected to spend the night with plastic sheeting covering the gaping hole where our kitchen window once hung. Thankfully, this was not the case. Working diligently and conscientiously the challenges of the project were met with a ?measure thrice - cut once? philosophy. The window was out, and our new door in place before the sun set. Speaking briefly to the finish work,

did an amazing job with the drywall and painting. The interior paint color and drywall repair match seamlessly to its adjacent untouched wall area, as for the exterior vinyl siding ? well, we still can?t figure out how they seamed and sealed it so masterfully! You would never know it wasn?t part of the original build. The same can be said for the new crawlspace door. Replacing an awkward access door with a full-sized one gave us much needed usable storage space, and the new hallway door blends with the existing doors wonderfully. Here once again,

did a phenomenal job with the replacement. We could ramble endlessly about what a great job they did, but in the end what?s important to know is that while on the job, the men wasted no valuable on-my-dime time. Careful attention to even the smallest detail is evident in every finished project. Challenges were met with honesty and experience, while an ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles with an innovative approach fostered an unwavering sense of trust and confidence in them and their work. "These guys are very conscientious and honest. They don't accept payment until the job is done, and will return for "fixes" and "tweaks" without complaint. They only tackle one major job at a time. Bill is the most easy-going, nicest person, who obviously enjoys his work. He is transitioning his son into more of a front-man position ...more within their company.

is also a very good guy, easy to work with, and he was primarily responsible for the great tile job. I was pregnant at the time this work was occurring, so it was important for us to get the job done quickly and to our satisfaction. They went over the initial timeline by about 3 weeks, but this was manageable and due (in part) to some mix-ups at the tile shop and the regular occurrences of home improvement jobs. "I called to ask if they could do the work and they said they could do it the next morning. called and said he was on his way and I met him there. He had to go into the attic because there was nothing there to begin with--it was a very hot day and a very small closet. He never complained just set to ...more work and I went back to work. When I came home the fan and light in the closets were beautiful and everything worked great. Then I looked at the plug for the microwave--I hadn't told him exactly what I wanted (I guess I thought he could read my mind) the outlet he installed was very big and stuck out from the wall--I had a microwave cart that I wanted against the wall--so I decided this wasn't going to work and I left a message at

. I spoke to them the next day and they said ok if I wanted it removed

would come out that day and do it so I met him there. He showed me what he thought I meant--turned the cart around--moved the

to the other side--and it is great! I teased him and told him he was not only my electrician but my decorator! I had contact with 3 people there and they were all very nice and patient and this was a very good experience."

"I called and had to leave a message for , the owner; he called back with 15 minutes (much, much quicker than I had anticipated). He was able to come to my home the following week at the time and date I requested. When I explained that the ceiling fixture he was installing was for a ceiling fan, he offered to go to Home Depot ...more for me and, using my gift card, purchase it and install it. Since I still needed to paint the ceiling, he agreed to do everything regarding the fan installation up to the point where the fan blades needed to be installed. He and his partner were done within 3 hours. I am very, very impressed with the speed of this call, their professionalism and their outstanding work. I have no doubts I will use him/them again."

"My last experience with was so fabulous, I was happy to have him back. This experience was not the same. was punctual and professional in the beginning, as he had been in the past. As time progressed, he was less so. Some days he did not show up when we were expecting him, or would be several hours later ...more than I expected. Some days he showed up unannounced to start working when we were not expecting it. We did not discuss how long it would take to complete the work, but I did not expect it to take well over a month, and more than twice the amount of the original estimate. And the original work discussed did not get completed, as we ran out of money before he could do the flooring. In all fairness, he was trying to keep the kitchen functional during the work, so that I could continue to cook in the evenings. He also was nice enough to fix odds and ends around the house when he noticed something was not working quite right (self-initiated). I still was extremely upset that the cost of the project was so much higher than the estimate. As in my last report he still lacks attention to detail, I reminded him to do things like put down a drop cloth to protect the newly installed countertops. In the future I might call him for

repair work, but not for painting, as this does not seem to be a strength for him. He knows his way around handyman type repairs though, and is always polite. This was not a good experience overall for us."
