prompt and professional and did exactly what he promised to do, even earlier than scheduled. We needed our carpets stretched (they were BAD!!) and he and his crew finished in under 2 hours. We found a ripple that was "hiding" under a dresser after they were gone. When we contacted him, he was happy to help and will be back later this week to re-stretch the area. I would absolutely recommend him and will use him for any carpet installations in the future! Thank you!

It went very well. I went to their showroom quite a selection of carpet. There was top of the line down to apartment grade. The sales rep was very informative. This was my first time purchasing wall to wall carpet for the whole house. We scheduled a time for him to measure. At that moment, I was ready to have them install the carpet, but a month later, I went back to the showroom, picked out my carpet and scheduled the installation.
sent a crew of 4 guys and they knocked out the work in about 6 hours. At all points of this process, everyone was very courteous, efficient and meet both appointments on time.

was great, easy to work with. He came over with carpet samples. We had really old carpet in our basement and were planning on selling our home within a few months so admittedly, we didn't go with the most expensive option. He gave us options and advice and we were very happy with the finished product. He carpeted the basement and the stairs. Quick to respond. We had no issues. I would absolutely use this company again.

It went well.
I went to
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
about 2 weeks before the installation to pick out some carpet.
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, my salesman, was very polite and helpful. I wanted a durable carpet that would endure a high traffic area. He helped me pick out two options and I took samples home to determine which color looked best. I called him back the same day to reserve my choice. Three days later
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
came to the house to measure the area. He called 20-30 minutes ahead of time so I could meet him at the house. He was very prompt. He was efficient with his time. He said he would call me the next day with the price for the carpet/installation. As promised, he did call and provided the estimate via phone and I selected an installation date (about 9-10 day out due to my schedule).
The installation was scheduled to take place on March 28, in the afternoon. I called
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
that day to make sure they were still able to do the installation. I learned that they were short a person and may not be able to complete the installation that day. This was a little inconvenient for me since I had taken the day off for the installation. Unexpected things happen though.

did come to the house late afternoon on the 28th to double check the measurements. He promised to complete the work on the 29th in the AM. He was a little late but I know they were trying to take care of me while being short staffed. The final product looks wonderful. I am so pleased with the product and work.

I started looking for carpet before the remolding on the room was completed. I talked with
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
. He had a remanent piece of carpet that was large enough to do the 18' X 19' rec room that was being remoldeled. He was knowledgeable about the carpet and recommended an upgrade on the pad.
I scheduled an appointment on 2/20/2014 for the room to be measured. No one came at the scheduled time. I waited a while then called the store and talked to
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
. He told me that
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
was off sick that day. I thought that I should have received a call canceling the appointment but no one called.
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
did agree to come over and measure, I was only 1/2 mile from the store.
I expected to hear back from
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
after he returned to work but again did not receive any calls. On March 1, 2014 I went to the store and asked about the carpet. He then completed the sale and I paid for the carpet and installation.
The installer did arrive on time, removed the carpet and scraped the floor. It made a
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
mess, with black dust everywhere. The installer and his helper to attempt to clean up some of the mess. Then he told me they couldn't nail the tack strips down because I had had waterproffing done and they couldn't nail into the concrete that was poured by the water proffing company about 6 years prior. They said they would need to glue the tack strips down and give it a day to dry so they would have to come back the next day to complete the job. I asked how long it would take and he said 2 hours.I told them it needed to be completed by 1pm as we had previous plans and needed to leave at that time. The installer did try to clean up some of the mess but did not do a good job. While they were gone I ran my sweeper and got a lot of it up. I am still going to have to wash the new walls to remove all the dust.

the installer said they would return at 10am. He actually arrived early at 9:30am but did not get done until 2:30pm. For two days after the tearout of the carpet I blew black dust from my nose, then came down with a head cold. I felt like they should have put up plastic to keep all the dust in the one room. I changed the furnace filter and it was so black with the dust there was no way any air could have gotten back into the furnace.
Overall I don't feel like I had a very good experience. I was disappointed they did not take the old carpet and the floor scrapings away with them. They put them by my trash cans in the back and I had to take them to the street on trash day. they were not very well prepared. They asked me for large trash bags to put the trash in. I would have thought they would have had the glue on the truck but they had to leave and go buy it. Like I mentioned they did not cover the door way to keep the dust from going into the other rooms, so now besides having to wash the walls in the room where they worked I also need to wash walls, shelves and anywhere else the dust settled in the whole house.

k.Salesman was very professional and prompt. He was helpful and available for questions throughout the process. We had smaller guys tell us the job was too big for them because the cabinets were resting on many layers of flooring which needed to be cut out. They were prompt and got straight to work. It was slightly awkward the first day the workers showed up and didn't seem to speak much English. They knew exactly what to do and got right to work. I was in and out the two days they worked and was impressed with their focus and speed. The work was pretty inexpensive compared to other estimates and the quality is good (not great). They did send someone out for follow up with rebalancing the dishwasher immediately upon my calling back.

We purchased carpet in 2007 for our living room area and hallway. This carpet holds a 15 year limited warranty against wear and tear. Everything was good until a couple years ago when we started seeing wear. In 2012 We contacted
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
who had us contact Envista the manufacturer of the carpet fibers. They came out and looked things over and collected carpet samples, etc. When we received the report, it said there was nothing they could do because it was not worn down enough to qualify for replacement. We then tried to go through the manufacturer of the carpet. Well, again a brick wall. The carpet manufacturer went out of business. We contacted
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
about the problem. Talked to Art
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
. Basically, what it comes down to is our carpet is 7 years old, there is really nothing they can do about the problem because the manufacturing plant went out of business. We can try again down the line to see if we qualify for anything from Envista. In the meatime, we are the ones that have to live with inferior carpeting or replace it ourselves. When you purchase carpet for your home, it is a big expense. You expect the carpet to live up to its expectations or the company that sold you the product from wherever it was bought, should stand behind what they sell.

I had found a
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
brand carpet I liked and got quotes from two local carpet stores. Then I was in HD and saw a
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
carpet that looked identical and sounded like the same product from the description and warranty, but it had a different name. I took home 4 color samples in gradient shades and each one was identical to the 4 samples I'd gotten at the other stores in color, look, feel, etc. So I called
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
to see if these were the same carpet under different names. I found out the
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
Anso Platinum (carpet store label) and
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
Expressive II (HD store label) were in fact made of the same BCF nylon material but they are made slightly differently and given different color names to give HD a proprietary product (6 twists vs 6.1 twists per inch) but from my perspective it was the same product. So I was excited to see the HD price was lower per sq. ft. plus they had a great $37 whole house install price (carpet store was charging $280 for install). I expected to order from HD and save over two hundred dollars. WRONG! I paid for the measurement. He came out and kept getting numbers a couple inches bigger than the other carpet stores were using for the various wall lengths. I even laid my tape measure out on the floor and showed him at one point that his measurement wasn't correct and he said his digital measuring was more accurate than my tape measure. HD emailed the estimate. The carpet stores had said I needed to order 360 sq. ft. but HD's estimate was using 411 sq. ft. I called to discuss. The person at the call center who does the measuring estimates was very difficult. I told her I did not want a seam in front of my kitchen door (the other carpet company was not putting it there) and she said that would increase the square footage even more. I asked if I could email or fax a copy of the diagram and measurements the other stores were using so she could tell me why HD needed me to order so much more carpet but she wouldn't allow that. Because HD was overstating the amount required by 50-60 sq. ft. to increase the material cost by about 15% they were also increasing the cost of other items like the pad as well as the carpet , they were $300 more expensive than the store selling the carpet at a higher price and with a higher install charge.
I ordered 360 sq. ft. of carpet from the other store (same 12 ft. width HD was selling) and it was installed today. The two people I spoke with at the HD call center both insisted the carpet stores must have measured wrong and it absolutely could not be done for less than 411 sq. ft. Since 360 sq. ft. was installed today, I know HD did inflate their numbers and was not honest in this process. That really surprised me but I can't view it any other way. I've always thought of HD as a trustworthy retailer but I'll be leery dealing with them in the future.
I liked the store
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
but the people at the center were horrid. In addition, the people at the HD center told me they would not seam the new carpet to the old carpet in my bedroom but would only put down metal strips. When he store
Columbus Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
called me (after I'd already told the other store to go ahead) he checked with his installer and said that also was not true and they do seam carpet they way I wanted it installed.
Warning: HD's lower prices were fake in this instance so make sure you compare per sq. ft costs multiplied by the measurements any store will be using before deciding to go with HD.
