"When we started with

they were the only game in town. We got basic cable and internet and the price was $51/month. Each year they tack on another $5 or $10 without providing any improvements in service or speed. Finally last winter when the price went to the mid $90s a month I called to ask why and was told they'd been improving service, offering more channels, digital and HD. I explained I didn't need that and wasn't getting it. They offered to upgrade my speed to 15MB for an additional $10. I threatened to leave and they offered the increased speed for free for 6 months. I lost track of time and the 6 months has ended. I'm now getting for over $100 what I can get from other providers for $70. For what TW is demanding I could get 30MB internet and 300 channels elsewhere (not that I really care about the TV, which is why we have basic TV). So, I'll call them tomorrow to give them another

"Our Internet has been spotty for several weeks. We contacted

(TW) who sent out a technician at 6 pm last Monday that was extremely unprofessional. Our issues: 1) The cable technicinas must get off at 7 pm because our problem was not fixed and he could not leave fast enough. 2) I requested detail in writing about what needs done to correct our problem and he said he left his number. After he left I learned that he did not leave his number with another family member as promised. 3) He blamed every one who had been here previously and worked on our home. We learned all about TW call segmentation and how the tier one calls go to new representatives who don't know what they are doing. Our account records are supposedly wrong and our house needs totally recabled. 4) I callled customer service the next day and all supervisors were too busy to talk to me. I left my name and number and have yet to hear back. 5) They supposedly fixed a cable running into the house and when doing so, stapled the new wire to the old, rather than replacing the old with the new. The side of my house now looks like a jumbled spaghetti bowl of wires. And, how can the next cable tech follow? We still do not have Internet service. "

"I have been using their services since February 2012, which include internet, cable, and phone locally. Their service is pretty fast. I haven’t had any problem with them yet, but it was a long procedure to get the installation. I will continue to use their services again in the future if I need to."

"Our DVR is malfunctioning, resulting in some recorded programs that consistently freeze and cannot be completed (even after unplugging/replugging the DVR).I had to call the company back because they refuse to schedule technicians without account verification (I'd never heard of this before AT&T) so I had to call my S.O. to get the details.Then I get a second operator who tells me he can send a technician out to look at the DVR, then says he can't do that, then says it would cost a fee. Then he says he has to replace the DVR, which of course means losing all recorded shows.Then he escalates me to another operator who says they need to do a "Disaster recovery" which of course would delete all content. I say in that case just send me another DVR, and he says he can't do that until they do a disaster recovery and the problem pops up again (which means we'd have to

After the re-grounding, a series of outages came on gradually -- a snowy TV picture, interrupted cable, intermittent internet reception, etc. but never a complete outage until several weeks after the original re-grounding. over several weeks to deal with the individual problems. Every time but one, they were polite, helpful, and willing to spend time with us to discuss the issues. (The exception was the operator who said we wouldn't have a problem if we just bought their digital serivce.) One operator even put in an emergency call to replace a part at the transformer, which resulted in a temporary improvement -- but the problem came back. Finally an operator spent nearly an hour on the phone with me, going over every connection in the house to try to diagnose the whole "disease.' It was the start of a long holiday weekend, but he put in a service order for the first available time and suggested that we log the problems in the the intervening 3 days. When the serviceman arrived this morning, he looked at our log and the recorded reports, and he could tell immediately that water was making contact with the line somewhere. When he couldn't find the precise place, he stripped out the entire system and totally replaced everything from the pole up. When you're not buying premium service, just the low-end product which best fits your needs, you expect to get kicked around and neglected. That has NOT been my experience at all with

(with that single exception). They were always on time, always concerned, always polite and efficient. This is why offers from other cable/internet companies haven't interested us. Delivering the same quality service to even the smallest customers makes a big impact.

"They installed the line and modem for cable, phone and internet. The line installation was neat without all the hanging, drooping cables. They stayed and tested all 3 services to be sure they were all working. I haven't had any of the connectivity problems I had with the previous company. The TV reception is clearer than with my other service. All at a lower price."
