Client alleges bad wiring used in roof repair

COMPLAINT: Dick Spencer, Stow, Ohio

"I hired Reiheld Roofing of Stow for a partial roof repair that also included installing some wiring that was supposed to melt the ice and help protect my roof from leaks during the winter. The roof repairs have kept out leaks, but the ice-melting wire they installed is faulty and hasn't worked from the beginning.

"I've contacted the company multiple times — at least once a month — but no one has offered to repair the wiring. I paid extra for this feature, but can't get Reiheld to fix it or refund my money. My contract states a 5-year warranty on all workmanship, but they're not honoring this warranty."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like them to remove the old wires, install new wire and test it to make sure it works."
