"He is fantastic; he is fabulous. He comes out all the time. He comes out every six months. He is my handyman. He fixes everything. I always have a running list for him. I call him up with about 10 things that need to be done and then he comes out. I have known him for 20 years. He did my closet 20 years ago. He has a brother who helps him out. He is very reasonable, good, and honest. He is a special guy. I spent about $100 the last time he came out. He paints, fixes the lights; etc. In the past, he has tightened the handles on the doors. "The only door to my home that I have a key to from the outside is my side door. On Saturday night the doorknob lock broke in place, and the door would not open. After breaking into my own house, and removing the doorknob, it was clear I needed a locksmith. I called

on Sunday late morning, and he arrived an hour and a half later, exactly when he said he would come. He didn't charge me for coming on a Sunday (thanks Angie's List), and he was really pleasant. I've not had a key to the back door since I moved in a year ago, so while he was here, he rekeyed the back door. He explained why my cheap kwikset locked in place, and replaced everything with Schlage, a much better product. "Mr. Felsen agreed to stay there until I could arrive with the lock. He disassembled the lock, piece by piece, until all parts had been removed. The material that caused the lock to malfunction was removed and the lock was shown to function normally. This work took about 45 minutes."

came out to our place to rekey our locks, two of which were original to our home, made in 1919. One was from the 50's. They were all locks that he had not worked with before, but he said if we'd give him a couple days, he would come back after researching them. We scheduled for him to come back a week later and he spent 4 hours rekeying the locks which included completely taking apart two of the original locks and making 6 copies of each key. The original locks still look beautiful and work more smoothly than they ever have."

was friendly and professional from beginning to end. I called on Tuesday and he was there the next day. He quickly re-keyed the locks we wanted changed. He noticed the strike plates were off a little, so he repositioned them. I asked his advice on another door and he helped give us a temporary solution until we decide what we want to do with that particular door. The whole job took about an hour."

"Total service failure. Called last week on June 27 to schedule an appointment and booked for Monday

2nd at 10:00 AM. For some reason this person has a weird sense of humor and most of the time is not a pleasure to do business with. Every request is treated as a hassle with him and through the past had just humored him and got the job done thinking I was saving money. So in this incident when I called for confirmation I was not feeling 100% and didn't want to play his game and after being berated by him asked him if he wanted the job and he said a flat out, "no" and I hung up thinking what a jerk, but oh well. I then called his competitor and got it scheduled for 2:30 today and everything went as smooth as could be and on top of that the bill was over $100 less and the work showed much better craftsmanship. For the longest I thought I was getting a bargain for a little verbal abuse but was, in reality, getting robbed blind."
