"It's quite a large hospital, it is also the county hospital so they are available to anyone. There are a couple of bad eggs there I wouldn't go to again, but my primary care physician is very good, very conscientious and very over worked. There are long waits. I was in the emergency room for 5 days and I would say the treatment was very good. The communication depends on who you get. It's the leading hospital in the city for trauma patients. They have several emergency rooms. I think the billing is structured differently now, I don't hear about any problems they are having in the administration. It's a huge hospital, but they keep their records straight. Only one time did I have someone else's records sent to me. It's my regular, basic hospital. "

Hills center - hardly ever even a 10 minute wait. Doctors are very competent with good communciation skills. I always appreciate the care I've received at this facility. However, the

billing practices leave much to be desired. They lost one of my payments from November and had me fax in a copy of the check, which I did. They didn't get to their faxes for weeks (too busy I was told) and my account went to a collection agency. On my next visit for an annual physical, I was asked how I was feeling. When I replied that I had a pain in my elbow, the doctor talked briefly about it and I was charged for a second office visit because the doctor addressed an issue outside of the normal physical. They should provide a disclosure of some kind if this is going to be their practice. It's a shame that the excellect care provided by the medical staff is overshadowed by incomptency of their billing practices and procedures."
