What styles of dancing do you teach?

Char Klimko: "We teach all types of ballroom dance."

Jessica Todero: "We teach American and international styles, including Latin and ballroom dances."

Courtney Laves-Mearini: "For adults, we offer ballet, jazz, tap and hip-hop."

What's your favorite dance and why?

Char Klimko: "The tango because it's so dramatic."

Jessica Todero: "The rumba because it's slow and romantic."

Courtney Laves-Mearini: "Ballet and jazz are my favorite dances. I love the way your body moves and the way the energy flows with these dances."

Besides learning how to dance, what are some other reasons people take lessons?

Char Klimko: "They come to have fun and to meet other people. Couples use their lesson as a weekly romantic date with one another."

Jessica Todero: "Not only is it great exercise, but it's a great way to meet new people and improve social skills. It also revives your mind, body and soul."

Courtney Laves-Mearini: "People can work on their coordination and meet new people who have similar interests. It becomes a big family."

How do you charge for dance lessons and what's the cost?

Char Klimko: "For a private lesson, I charge $65 per hour."

Jessica Todero: "We offer group classes, private instruction and dance parties. The Friday group classes and parties are $10."

Courtney Laves-Mearini: "It costs $16 per class, but we offer a discount if you register for the entire semester."

How often do you recommend your clients take a class with you?

Char Klimko: "It's helpful if they can practice outside of class. Their weekly lesson is all I recommend."

Jessica Todero: "We recommend taking lessons at least two to three times a week to see the best results."

Courtney Laves-Mearini: "For beginners, I recommend once a week."

How do you handle the most dancing-challenged clients?

Char Klimko: "They're not a problem. I tell those with two left feet to find a partner that has two right feet."

Jessica Todero: "I have a lot of patience because everyone learns at a different pace. Private lessons would be the best way to start."

Courtney Laves-Mearini: "I tell them that adults have more body awareness and should be able to learn quicker and move faster through the steps."
