Sewer Cleaning Reviews in Cincinnati

We were in the process of replacing the sewer line. The line was clogged at the house so it needed to be cleaned out before the new line could be connected at the house. The two guys from
found a serious problem with the line that the contractors had missed. The contractor found the problem was exactly as described. They fixed it saving us a lot of time money and headaches

I have a house that was built in 1909 and there are several large trees growing near the house. For many years I have had a problem with tree roots growing in and stopping up my sewer pipe. I have been putting RootX root
into the toilet in my basement in the hope that I could prevent future blockage of the pipe. I talked with
Gellenbeck at The
Company Home Services this month about my problem and I am very pleased with the advice that he gave me about a better method of keeping my sewer pipe clear of roots for as long as possible. In addition, he gave me a very good price for the work.
did the job. He arrived on time and completed the work effectively and efficiently. I was expecting to have a big mess and a lot of water on my basement floor caused by the removal of the toilet, but
was meticulous--no mess and not one drop of water on the floor. He augered the pipe and got out a good sized cluster of tree roots. He then put a camera down the pipe to show me the condition of the pipe. He poured RootX and the water it needs to work into the opening for me. He replaced the toilet with a plug and cover that I can remove with little trouble, giving me a better method of pouring RootX into the pipe than pouring it down the toilet. (As soon as water hits the RootX powder, there is an explosion of foam, which is what coats the pipe and kills the roots.)
gave me a great recommendation for monitoring and cleaning the pipe to r***** the regrowth of roots and keeping the pipe open as long as possible.
I couldn't be more pleased with
's advice and
's work. I am going to call The
Company for all my future plumping needs and they have my highest recommendation.

Sewer Cleaning reviews in Cincinnati

We live in a 50 year old house with a cement sewer line. Needless to say, we have had our sewer line cleaned many times. In addition, this is the third time some has run a camera through it. By far, this is our best experience with anyone working with our sewer line.
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
came on time and was one of the most considerate plumbers I have ever met. Usually, when they leave, our basement carpet and stairs have many dirty spots. When
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
left, you would never have known he was here. Even after running a camera and removing roots from our sewer line, there was no dirt or spots anywhere.
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
showed me the film of our entire sewer line and pointed out the roots that needed to be removed. He also explained where the camera was filming. He then brought in the snaking machine and cleaned out our line.
Even though I used an Angie's List coupon, he did not pressure me to buy additional services. He was completely professional the entire time he was here.

I urgently needed a plumber in the middle of the night, as I had a very bad sewer backup in the basement bathroom of my home. The toilet was backed up, and after I used a plunger in the toilet, our shower was completely filled with several inches of brown sewer water. The smell was strong and awful, and with small children in my home, I needed to get someone out to clear the backup urgently before that smell permeated throughout the house. This happened at about 11:45pm, and I looked on Angie's List for a plumber. I came across Flo-Rite on Angie's List, went to their website, and under the "About Us" section,
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
states that they "...have a live person to answer your call … 24/7… Rates do vary after normal working hours." So I called them and spoke to
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
. The first call I made was at 1am, after I realized that this situation should not wait until the next day. I gave
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
all of my information (name, phone number, address, description of the problem) and was told that there was a $100 service fee for any after hours work. I was willing to pay that fee given some of the favorable reviews
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
received on Angie's List. I was told that I would be contacted by a plumber shortly. I waited an hour, and I did not receive a call back. So I called again at 2am and spoke to
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
, where once again she's asking me for all of my information again to "give another message to the on-call plumber." So I gave her my information AGAIN, and she again said that someone would be getting back to me shortly. I then waited another hour and a half, and still no call back!!! So I called her again at 3:30am, and told
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
that I STILL had not heard back from a plumber. She then wanted to give another message to the on-call plumber. At that point, I obviously said to forget that plan, as I had been up nearly all night waiting, and they had been completely unresponsive. I then asked her if I could make an appointment for first thing in the morning, and then she offered me a 3pm appointment!?! I understand that the morning appointments were probably booked up, but why would I want a 3pm appointment if I was willing to pay an extra $100 to get someone to my house immediately? This problem obviously could not wait until 3pm. So I asked her to please have the manager (
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
-- who might also be the owner?), to call me first thing in the morning when they open.
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
told me that it would be around 8:30-9:00 when the office opens. This was 3 days ago, and of course I haven't gotten a call back from them. Horrible responsiveness, and horrible professionalism to completely disregard my messages. I'm glad that I called up another plumber who came out at 8am to clear out the back-up. As an Angie's List member, I hate writing bad reviews, and I think in several years, this might only be my 2nd one. I especially don't like it when in general,
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
had good reviews. But they completely dropped the ball on this one, and frankly they ruined my night. All I needed was for them to say that they were tied up on another emergency (or whatever) and couldn't come out to my house, then I would have pursued another plumber. But instead, I was just told that I'd be getting contacted soon, and in the process was up nearly all night waiting for a call-back or a plumber to show up at my house. I'm very disappointed, and will never bother with
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
again. They completely screwed me that night, and never even bothered to call back and apologize. Not the type of company I want to deal with.

both came out to the site and worked with me on inspecting the lines, determining the needs to complete the job (power and water needs), and returned to complete the work. Very professional on both visits and explained the process when I had questions.

Bill evaluated the problem and got right to work. He encountered some old drain cleanout issues. The house was built in 1968 and we moved in in 1970, so I know the drain cleanout had not been opened for at least 41 years. He was able to fix all issues and get the job done quickly. The total job (drain cleanout and main supply line shutoff valve replacement) took about 3 hours and he never took a break or stopped working. All necessary parts were on his truck, so he never left the job site. He did an excellent job! He also took time to answer my questions and show me what he was doing. I really appreciate that personal touch. I would highly recommend Bill S. and

So due to the sewer back up in our basement two times in 6 months, we knew we had to do something. They performed a scoping of our clay sewer line and we found cracks in the connections. While we were very happy with the work that they did in our emergency situation, we decided to go with a more conventilonal method of replacing the sewer line. They were very responsive in our emergency situation and remedied it, but we had bigger issues.

called to let me know he was on his way. Was a little late, but was an all day job. Once he got there he started digging (had a partner with a backhoe). When the found the line, the dug to the tree. They cut the line to see how bad it was, and possibly have to have the tree removed before continuing. Luckily the blockage was all before the tree. He showed me the damage and then ran the camera to the street to verify no further blockage. He sleeved the main line with a PVC and then finished up. He took some off the price since the job was less work than expected. *other companies quoted having the tree removed and

said it should be removed in the future.

's quote was way less than the others, most by 25%-50% less including a well known company. Drain works fine. No problems since.

Outstanding! After a heavy downpour we discovered several inches of water and sewage in our basement. We live in a 100 year old house with small sewer pipes, so this happens from time-to-time, but this was by far the worst we've seen. We called
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
on Saturday and
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
was at our door several hours later. He was very understanding and got right to work. He was even able to overcome the obstacle course we call our basement! In just a few minutes he was able to unclog the sewer and everything was flowing again. Here's the outstanding part:
Cincinnati Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
helped us clean up all the yuck the clog left behind. We have never had a plumbing service provider stay and help clean up after a back-up!

They did a good job. we've been here for 42 years. A lot of companies won't do this kind of work and this one does. They're excellent in what they've done. we've never had to call them back.
