Knee pain began in summer 2011. Dr. Jolson said he wanted to try non-invasive treatment first. Gave me cortisone shot. After several weeks, it did not work. Then we tried physical therapy. Still did not work. Then we tried surgery. There was some relief. We waited 3 months and then I was given a set of 3 shots--spaced exactly one week apart. Finally some relief. He was persistent in helping--would not give up. He never made promises, let me know the pros and the cons and was sure to manage my expectations. Exactly what you want from a doctor.

I first saw him in June 2010 and had surgery
2010. I saw him frequently over the past two years and I feel that he knows what he is doing and has provided excellent care for me. I had to have surgery again in August 2011 and will probably have to have a knee replacement in the near future. He has done everything that he can to prevent me from having that and I am grateful for this. He is not the type of doctor to rush you into surgery or push pain medications on you. He is very thorough and friendly. I will not see another orthopeadic doctor except him and if my children ever need an orthopeadic doctor, this is who I will take them to.

I was able to get an appointment the day after I called, which I thought was great. However, I waited 50 minutes past my appointment time before I saw the doctor, and no one apologized or even acknowledged that I had waited that long. Other than that, I have no complaints. The exam he gave me was thorough, and he did an additional x-

I would highly recommend their rehabilitation. They have a super physical therapy staff and equipment and set up. The whole nine yards is super. It is a super facility. I don't have any complaints about the staff; they were excellent. They are generally on time. Their bedside manner is real good. The rehab has gone well. The billing has been easy; they do a nice job.

Everything went wonderfully. Everything was very professional and everything was precisely done. Everything he said he would do he completed. The office staff was very professional and they handled all the insurance issues. Follow-up was just fine.

From the first scheduled visit I knew I had made the right choice. Having both knee joints replaced at one time was a bit scary but I am sooo glad I did. It is wonderful that just 6 weeks post surgery I am walking without pain or limp. I find

I arrived for my appointment and had to wait a bit in the waiting room. But that's pretty normal nowadays. They took me back and got me x-rayed. Then we waited for the Doctor. That was another long wait. But the nurse kept me informed. The Doctor himself is very professional and knowledgeable. He showed us the x-rays and explained everything to us very clearly. He treated me like a human being. Overall, I was very impressed with the staff and the doctor, and have no problem waiting to see him.

My experience with him has been fine. He is good. I have been to him several times in the past. He does not guess about what is wrong with you. He takes a thorough look at your situation. He is very honest. I will continue to use his services in the future.

If you want surgery, see Dr

. If you want to get a 2nd opinioin, go to a neuro surgeon and get a conservative review. Bascially, avoid surgery if at all possible!

Went to Dr.
Cincinnati Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
to check out a recent knee issue including clicking and swelling. While there also asked about a hip problem I've had on one side that has been getting gradually worse for 6 or 7 years. Treatment in both cases was conservative, and so far effective. He is very hesitant on surgery until all the steps have been taken to try to avoid it.
