"I found the assistance of the service manager to be very helpful in understanding how this process worked. What I did not know beforehand is that travel time BACK to the dispatch point is billed, but it makes sense to be fair to all who use their service. On the day of the move, they were delayed in getting started, but I received a phone call explaining the situation and we actually had a bonus person (Three men and a truck) to minimize future delays. The bill came in right at the high end of the estimate. My wife was very pleased with the service."

"Great job. I called and made an appointment for the owner to come out and give me an estimate. He arrived on time and was very pleasant. After he toured the apartment, we went over to the storage unit so he could see what would be involved. He gave me the quote on the spot and I agreed and we set up a date for the move. On the move date, his 2 guys arrived about 15 minutes early. They were pleasant, friendly and knew what they were doing. You could tell that the guys had worked together for a long time. They were careful with my furniture and extremely professional. After they packed up the apartment, they followed me to the storage unit and I left them there to pack up while I went over to the house. They said it would take about 1 1/2 hours to pack the unit, then they would stop for lunch and call me while they were driving over to the house. Sure enough, about 2 hours later, I received a call telling me they were on their way. Unloading the furniture was quick and they were careful with my newly refinished hardwood floors. Great experience. I will use them again and highly recommend them."

"
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
Bridges and his helper showed up on time, moved the refrigerator with out any trouble and were very courteous and professional. The price charged of $75 was less than the estimate of $100 given over the phone. Their original estimate was $50 to $75 less than other moving companies that I contacted. I would use their serves in the future and recommend them to others."

"Dealing with a moving company can be a dicey experience. I have moved 6 times over the past 10 years within the Cincinnati area, and each time I was left with an awful impression of the movers. I didn't have the same negative experience with
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
. These guys worked their tales off for the entire day. We moved from a newer home with big openings & doorways to a older home with tighter spaces - the mover's groaned a bit at the sight of the smaller spaced, but got the job done just the same.
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
's estimate was within 5% of the final bill. I was glad that they asked to come see my house first. Based on our phone call, they were going to send 3 men / 1 truck. It took 5 men and 2 trucks and they worked from 8 - 6 with an hour for lunch between loading and unloading. All in all - it was a good experience and I would use them again.

"We have used Valley Movers about 3 times now to do local moves. They work hard, offer helpful suggestions, and take great care with our possessions. I would highly recommend them."

"This is the second time we've hired Valley for moving services and we wouldn't look elsewhere. They are punctual and professional, but of greater importance to us, they are respectful of our home."

"Having moved 10 times in almost as many years, we've become very moving-savvy. After obtaining 3 estimates, we went with
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
b/c they were one of the few companies who would provide a binding estimate for local moves (within tri-state metro area). Consumers be aware: the moving industry is one of the worst for consumer fraud, so learn about your minimal state & federal rights. Know that most companies will add-on charges on moving day, let you think it's your fault & they are legally within their right to exceed estimates to an extent. This did not occur with
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
. After coming to the house to take inventory (never do this by phone) & submitting a reasonable bid,
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
matched our lowest bid. They showed promptly on moving day and worked quickly and efficiently to load the truck. We had packed our own things and were moving many of the smaller boxes of breakables ourselves. We had them help minimally with furniture assembly/reassembly - removing mirror from dressers and reassembling at the new home, etc. They completed the work in one day as planned. There were a few problems - one major to us: several pieces of furniture were too large to be carried upstairs. Our biggest complaint here is that we had anticipated this might be a problem & specifically asked the sales rep who did our inventory about it & even invited him to survey the new house; he declined, and that cost us time & money to replace our box springs with split-box frames the night of our move. We also had to re-arrange furniture last-minute to accommodate larger pieces that had to stay downstairs. What a hassle!
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
offered to haul off and store our queen boxsprings - a small consulation given that they were both less than 1 yr old. Also of note, despite repeated (and polite) requests to lift not drag furniture on the newly refinished HW floors, several pieces were scooted in our presence which caused gouges in the floor. We reported this right away to
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
, who suggested we file a claim. We had our floor installer come out later to give us a bid and their recommendation was to sand and reseal the sections that were gouged. The cost would've been 1-2K and the claim probably would've covered this but we were not willing to endure another week or so of moving furniture, breathing and cleaning HW floor dust from the sanding and fumes from the sealant. So we're living with the gouges. On the whole,
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
could've done better with the initial inventory to determine we would indeed have a problem with getting the furniture upstairs - especially because we wonderd about it ourselves and asked about it specifically. They also could've been more cautious with the furniture - the pieces that were scooted were not large, and it was more a matter of one person wanting to scoot it himself rather than ask a coworked to help him lift it into place. Other than that, the crew who did the job were polite and hard-working and dealt very professionally with us when we were upset about the miscalculation on the furniture and the floor, as was the office staff. For that, I could give them a conditional recommendation to "use again" but buyer beware.

"They quoted me the correct prices, no
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
charges, no complicated contracts with small letters no one reads because it would take too long to do so. They are clean, they loaded my furnishing with care, wrapping everything in clean blankets, and they did not egin charging when they left their office like most. They asked questions about the loading /unloading when in doubt. they are great people to work with."

"They were very quick to call and give me estimate for the move. They agreed to move me on a Saturday at 4:00 pm or later. On Saturday, they called around 5:30 pm and said their movers were runnning extremely late today, and might not make it until 9:00 or 10:00 pm (or later), so I could reschedule it for Monday. I was disappointed because I had counted on moving on the weekend. However, I did reschedule for Monday between 1:00 and 3:00 pm (they came at 1:30 pm). The movers were excellent -- they had a hard time moving some of the heavy dining room pieces to the second floor, but they did not complain. Overall, I would use them again."

"I scheduled about three weeks in advance of my move and within about a week, a gentleman was out to go through the house with me and estimate costs and provide me with information on what I would need to pack and so forth. The estimate that they called with in the next couple days was approx 5 hours and the cost was approx. $900. I decided to go with this company without consulting other companies because I'd worked with others already for family moves and wasn't completely satisfied with these other companies and because
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
came very highly recommended from friends. Because of an unexpected and last-minute delay with my closing, I had to cancel just a few days ahead of time. I received no complaints about this but just sympathy about the delay and a new scheduled date within a week. The movers arrived right on time and asked that I take them through the house to show what would be moved and what would remain. There were four men total, and they acted so quickly it seemed like magic. They would pick up two boxes at a time--no working with dollies, no delay. I had to stay out of their way or risk getting bowled over. They were very careful though, and took apart items, rolled rugs, and safely packed lamps I thought I'd have to carry over separately (had I known this, I wouldn't have been so concerned about taking floor lamps and other things over ahead of time). Once at the new location, they placed everything exactly where I wanted it and asked when they weren't sure rather than just putting the boxes anywhere. On inspection so far, nothing was damaged, and everything looks very good--suggestions about where to store some items in my newer, smaller, location were appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised when I was given the total cost. Because they had worked so efficiently, the total came in far under estimate at $576.00. I was completely satisfied with their professionalism, their quickness, and the pleasant nature of all the men. I would go with this company again and would recommend them highly. I also understand they help with moving items within a house; I would call them for these services as needed.
