Everything, including my antique furniture was safe (a couple minor scratches). The movers were patient, listened to my concerns about certain pieces and took their time to make sure everything went smoothly. They were polite, professional and kept me calm all day.

The owner came to our home to see how much stuff we had and to give us an bid on the job. He said it would be hard to estimate the cost or time (any where from 8-12 or even 15 hours if we weren't packed well) since it was such a big move. He did give us a ball park figure of $3000 and that was about what it cost for the first move (read on for an explanation). The movers were very punctual, arrived right at 7AM and they moved FAST, but that is where the positive experience ended. They propped the front door wide open before we had a
to secure our pets and the cat took off; was lost for over an hour. VERY STRESSFUL! I told them the dining room furniture was brittle, an antique family heirloom, and please be very careful with it. They set heavy boxes on the table and broke 2 of the legs. Crystal stem ware was packed in U-Haul boxes with individual cells for glasses and wrapped in foam pockets. Two of them broke, but the movers said they were not liable for any items we had packed. They pulled the whole lock mechanism from our file cabinet out, along with the key. And they dented out brand new dryer badly, in several places, but it does still work. They brought 2 trucks (20 and 26 ft. long) but did not have enough room for all of our furniture and boxes. For 2 exhausting weeks, we made daily trips to the old house transporting items they weren't able to move, but some of the out door furniture was too big for our SUV and progress was very slow. It is a 45 min. drive from one house to the other. Five days after the move, we discovered they had unplugged our deep freezer in the basement which was still half full of mostly meat. It had completely thawed out and had to be discarded. I'm sure it was an honest mistake, the freezer was next to the washer and dryer which they unplugged to move. We still had a small truck full of items to move when I called the owner, to discuss the problems noted above and inquire about having them finish the job. He was belligerent and refused to accept responsibility for the freezer. He tried to tell me I had lots of small children running around unsupervised and they must have unplugged the deep freezer. I'm quite sure I only have two adult children and they were out of town at the time of the move. I asked him to finish the move for free and reimburse us for the lost food. I had pictures of the defrosted meat and offered to itemize the cost based on replacement from
's. He would not accept responsibility for the freezer or finish the move for free. Instead, he repaired the broken table legs and charged us another truck fee and hourly moving rate to finish the move. He then gave us a $200 discount off that $450 job, which was probably about the cost of the ruined freezer food. This move was a nightmare and I would not recommend this company! I only chose them because they were an A rated company with Angie's List.

I had heard such great things about this company and was very excited to hire them for our move. Unfortunately, things did not go as well as expected. First, they were an hour late because one of the mover's over-slept. When they arrived, Nat immediately apologized for being late, which I appreciated. They were very careful when moving our boxes and furniture out of our apartment, however, in hindsight I wish I had insisted that they use moving blankets to pad our furniture. One of our dressers was not padded and during the drive to our house, it moved in the truck and got chipped.
The unloading of our furniture into the house was very inefficient because one of the mover's wasn't feeling well (he complained about being hungry and hot) and stopped moving stuff for awhile. So for a bit, Nat was the only person unloading the truck. This made the process longer than expected. As a result of the other mover being tired, they had a very difficult time getting our heaviest pieces of furniture up to the second floor of the house. I was extremely nervous and worried that they might drop something.
Since one of the movers spent a good portion of the time not actually working, we were given a small discount on the price of the move. Nat was very apologetic regarding the behavior of the other mover and assured me that this was not a typical experience. While I understand that everyone has off days, I really did not appreciate the unprofessional behavior of the other mover. On several occasions, I found him sitting in my office chair in the house or on our couch, complaining about how tired and hot he was.
Again, Nat was great and he did everything he could to try to make up for the things that did not go so well.

should have been on top of this and they have failed miserable. Very poor customer service and unreliable.
In a nut shell, if you are dealing with a cross country move, stay away from this company. You cannot count of them. I expected

Stay away from

did a great job. He was easy to communicate with, and handled everything professionally. He was present at pickup and delivery and (taking him at his word) was with the piano at all times. There was no damage to the piano. All went as smoothly as could have been hoped.

These guys are AMAZING!!!!
I was very prepared at the house so they did not have much to do, plus I did not have a lot of furniture. They showed up and had almost everything out in just over half and hour. Completely amazing. They protected the door frame and also did

any walls.
Moving into the 3rd floor condo did not stop these guys, they broth everything up, asked me where I wanted it and then went down and grabbed more and were always asking if I was OK and if there was anything else they could do for me.

at the office was always very friendly and returned all my calls. And to top it off. when my plans changed unexpectedly they helped me find a solution that worked for me and for them to keep my move on track.
If you are considering moving, call these guys first, you will not be disappointed.

hustled! it took just under 3 hours to move everything - and they weren't just leaving everything in a giant pile for me to sort through. They asked where each piece of furniture went and looked at the labels on the boxes to make sure everything ended up in the correct room.

The scheduling process was
Cincinnati Movers Provider Name Locked
- I gave them a list of what was to be moved and they gave me a cost based on estimated time. I called a week before the scheduled date to confirm the time / delivery address. The two moving guys arrived punctually at the scheduled time and were very courteous throughout the process. They handled the furniture carefully using blankets to protect the items. They were careful to unload and place things so it all fitted in the compact stoarge unit. The final fee came in under the estimated cost by about $200 ,as they completed the entire move in under 4 hours. I have always used one of the large moving companies in past moves, with excellent results, but would definitely use

again and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others .

I was very pleased. Moving has so many gears that have to work together. This was the least stressful. I knew they were good because my friend had just moved a few months before and had said to use them. They had someone come out and quote, He was very professional , answered all my questions and offered some great tips. On moving day they were a man short, but still finished in the same amount of time (at a lower rate). It was heavy work, and they took a few breaks, but took that off my bill without me saying anything. They took beds apart, and reassembled them, hauled my crappy couches to the dumpster, and always had a great attitude.

I haven't had drop-off yet, but I feel like I have had good contact with everyone. The Mover, had to manuver the truck into driveway, a little tricky , given wires and driveway and the road. they got things packed up and ready to go in 5 hours. Driver went over all the paperwork. with me. So far so good.
