that morning. They were well prepared for the move and the 3 crew members were courteous,
professional and efficient. They did a walk-through of the house to assess the
amount of furniture/boxes and immediately went to work. They took good care of
our belongings and nothing was damaged. I was very satisfied with their work and
I wouldn’t think twice of using
I would highly recommend them to anyone!
They were quick, efficient, exhibiting expertise as they advised us on how to box, wrap, and crate in the best and most financially feasible way. Once they arrived from Louisville to Cincinnati,
I give these guys a lot of credit as it was bitterly cold and they worked for 10 solid hours (with the exception of a lunch break) in and out of the cold. There was one minor item damaged when they moved the dryer in the house and broke a switch. $20 for the part and about 30 minutes of work and I had it fixed.
These guys may not be the cheapest in terms of upfront cost, but like everything you get what you pay for. I am glad I opted to pay a bit more upfront and get high quality service without having to worry about my belongings being damaged.
The bad: I was charged too much time for 3 reasons. Included in my initial bill was: 1) the 35 minutes late the crew showed up. 2) the half hour they spent at them to disassemble the pool table they wanted for themselves.
#1: This is a no-brainer. In arguing with the guy about the bill it became clear he did not want to report the lateness to his manager so he tried to charge me for it.
#2: The guy that did all the talking told me countless times that they were "just grabbing some food on the run" at
#3: We didn't want the pool table. It was a fully assembled 8 foot slate table that was way too big for the condo. This was made very clear. My wife told them they could have it if they wanted it. We didn't even mind spending part of our weekend waiting while they disassembled it with care and packed it away for themsleves. But I do care that I had to pay them for that time. This is a no-brainer too.
I argued the first point till he took a half hour off the bill, but after a day spent moving I didn't feel like arguing the last two points. The owner/manager seemed like a reasonable guy (from the prior estimate) and the crew worked hard. And admittedly I didn't call the manager later to complain, but this is clearly deceptive practice that seems institutional in nature so it didn't seem worth the hassle.
The crew called me on the scheduled day to let me know that they were running ahead of schedule and wondered if they could arrive a few hours early, which was fine.
When they arrived, they both introduced themselves and proceeded to wrap my cabinet very carefully, even though it was only being moved upstairs. It was difficult for them to navigate somewhat because the stairs turn halfway up. Still they took their time and managed it beautifully.
I could not imagine a better experience and would not hesitate to use them again for a larger or similar need. They were top-rate and they offered a coupon to Angie's List members.
