"The bath part was not so bad and we usually request that they bathe our dog after boarding. But the infuriating thing is that they performed a full annual wellness exam without our permission. That including blood tests for heart worm, fecal tests etc. etc. The problem was our dog already has a vet and this place knew this since they request his shot records for boarding purposes! They only asked to give the shots and then end up billing a full 114.50 for a annual checkup that was not requested for our dog. I've used them a few times in the past and they do try and up sell on bath and nail trim but it is ridiculous for them to perform an exam without permission. Needless to say I will never go back to them again and neither would I recommend them to anybody.

*UPDATE* they did call back later to apologize and refund some of the exam fee."

"I was extremely happy with the care our dog received while being boarded. She appeared to have been well cared for and was in great spirits when I came to pick her up. Also, the boarding rates were much more reasonable than other places we've used in the past. Overall a great experience."

"I found the folks there to be friendly and helpful. I was nervous about kenneling my dog as he was a rescue dog and had separation issues. When we picked him up, he was very excited to see us but didn't seem to have been adversely affected by his stay at all. This is the only place I'll take my dog in the future."

"They included a bath which I paid for because often my dog comes home after just a day smelling bad. I took special shampoo because my dog has a skin condition and they did not use it, although I was told that it was included on the notes. I talked with the owner who said she would refund what I paid for the bath, but a refund has not arrived. I needed to take my dog to the groomer the next day for another bath, since the shampoo they used was very fragrant and I could not stand to smell my dog. Will not use again in spite of the fact that they are friendly and a family owned, small kennel. "

for the Christmas holiday. When I made the reservation I was told that there was no drop off on the 24th, so I understood I would be dropping off on December 23 even though we weren't leaving until December 24th. I specifically discussed pick up December 26th with the representative who took the reservation. She told me I would be able to pick up on the 26th. I double checked again with her that this was so and pointed out that the website said they were not open to the public on the 26th. She stated that this was not correct and the website would be updated and the dogs could be picked up on the 26th. Since we would not be back in town until after their pick up hours were over, I arranged for a friend to pick up the dogs. When my husband arrived to drop of the dogs on December 23th, he was told we would not be able to pick up the dogs until the Sunday the 27th and they were not open on December 26th. Since a Sunday pick up results in a charge for Sunday night we ended up paying for 2 extra nights than we were informed of when making the reservation. The representative my husband dealt with did not care that their employee gave us incorrect information. If we had know about their hours we would have looked into other dog care options. By the time we were given this information, it was too late to make other arrangements and we were stuck. Essentially there was a 5 night minimum for the Christmas holiday stays, but they were not upfront in saying this. I do not want to deal with a company that does not take responsibility for misinformation given by their employees or is sneaking in their rates (They should have said upfront, there is a 5 night minimum for Christmas stays.) To top it off, one of my dogs caught a virus from the stay at the kennel and was very sick. She was admitted to the animal hospital to receive care which resulted in worry about her health and another large bill. "

"Everything went just as planned for me but my dog was very nervous. They were able to work with him and make some slight adjustments accordingly and all went well. I was very happy that the owner understood dog behavior and could deal with my dog and his quirky behavior."

"Fantastic. Pet Suites is a great kennel. We have boarded our dogs there for over 5 years and each time they have been known by name when they arrive and greeted with hugs. The staff there clearly knows each individual dog and takes the time to really give them all extra attention. They are detailed, make sure that they know exactly how the dogs need to be cared for and fed and give a thorough report when the dogs are picked up. I've even called mid-week to check on my dogs and they've given me reports on how the dogs are doing. Their grooming is also very good. My dogs come out smelling great and with a thorough job done to their toes and ears in addition to their regular baths. I would recommend Pet Suites in a heart beat. Keep up the good work!"

"They are very friendly, competent, very experienced and very accommodating. We have used them for 6 years and would highly recommend them to anyone needing boarding or grooming services. Pricing varies."

"Very good. Had to go through an "evaluation" day before the actual boarding day, at a fee. I can understand the need to make sure my animal can get along with the others, but I don't think I should be charged for it. However, the actual boarding was great, they followed all my instructions (extensive, as my dog is diabetic and requires two shots of insulin a day). Three other kennels would not take my dog at all because they don't give injections. I also like that the dogs are out for play and recreation most of the day, not just sitting in a cage."

"My dog is excited when he goes in and when I pick him up he is always tired. It is a clean and organized establishment staffed by attentive and professional workers. They also have web cams so i can check up on line if i ever feel to. They also have boarding with web cams where you can leave your dog for a period of time and still be able to check up on your pet. I have also taken him their for training and grooming and they have done a very good job with that as well."
