No internet for 3 days. Then they screwed up the modem again and they want me to go 7 days without being able to get on Company VPN. Was on the phone w/ them for 3+ hours and they were at my house for over 4 hours. They operate technical service from Philippines and a) connection is awful and b) can't understand half of them c) always claim "NO MANAGER IS AVAILABLE"

You will get totally JUNK service unless you pay for Business Class. So even if you run a 1 person business in your home and pay residential fee they don't care if you have 7 days lost work.

I was being charged 54.99 a month just for internet service. They upped it to 57.99. I called to speak with someone about it, and after a long discussion with no help, because all the person wanted to do was convince me to buy a phone-internet-cable package, the person was going to transfer me and ended up disconnecting me. I called back again, and after another lengthy discussion with no help, got transferred again and disconnected again. I immediately called Cincinnati Bell to sign up for their internet. My appointment was set for three weeks later to have CB fiber optics installed. Immediately after the installation, I called TWC to cancel my service. Of course I was disconnected once again!!! Had to call back again, and cancelled my service. Then the fun began once I received a bill for far more than the two days of service I should have been charged for. Got zero help from customer service on the phone, so I decided to have a chat session online. During the hour and 15 minute chat online, I was first told the charge was for unreturned equipment, then I was told the charge was because it takes TWC 12 days from the day you cancel service to actually cancel it -- what??? -- and then back to being told it was for unreturned equipment. By this point I had explained over and over to everyone I spoke with that I had no TWC equipment. When I first signed up for their service I purchased my own modem through a promotion they were having, and I paid $100 for my modem. Again, I will state, this was through TWC's own promotion!!! They are saying I never returned their modem. And I didn't. Because they never installed their modem -- they installed my modem that I paid $100 for. The final bill I received from TWC was for $27.06, but I was enrolled in auto pay with them and they actually charged my credit card $57.99. I only owe them for TWO DAYS of service!!! I will be filing a dispute with Discover over this, but wanted to warn everyone out there who may read this:
CABLE HAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLY IMAGINEABLE, AND COMMITTED WHAT I CONSIDER TO BE FRAUD BY CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD FOR SERVICE I DIDN'T RECEIVE AND/OR EQUIPMENT I don't HAVE. I STILL don't KNOW WHAT THE CHARGE WAS FOR BECAUSE THEY KEPT TELLING ME DIFFERENT THINGS.

Problems with internet service. Loss of connection. CS NOT helpful on phone 2 hrs. Service sent to house found sub-contracted installers connected poorly. I was billed for moving service when it was supposed to be no charge. Could never get TW to rectify. Discontinued service and will never do business with them again. Worst CS I have ever encountered.

The phone service is always prompt and courteous, and I have found in the past year or so extremely professional and competent. Perhaps my problems are just easy-to-solve ones, but they are almost always solved with a single phone call any time of the day or night (I keep unusual hours). I am always offered the choice of a service call (at no expense to me since I am having a problem) if I have trouble following their directions about how to fix the problem or if the problem persists. Several times I've received a call-back or follow-u[ email to be sure my problem has been completely resolved.

Technician arrived on time was friendly. courteous and took time to explain everything. He also had to figure out the best route to the TV downstairs and Cautioned us about never letting anyone drill in through the large exposed foundation wall that wraps the back half of our house since (we are perched on a hillside). He also suggested we use the rr email for some things, but to create a gmail or similar account for all main contacts in case we switch service providers. He was very thorough and gave us great service.

The service tech was very professional, friendly and walked through (verbally) everything he was checking, testing, etc. I was confident in his abilities, although we are still experiencing some intermittent problems, that shouldn't be happening with all new, above average equipment. So, while our problem is LESS frequent, the results of lost connection are still the same and disruptive to work times.

Cable box is slow and cable goes out about once a week and needs a full reboot or call to provider. Internet is more reliable, but still not 100%. Cost is higher than competitors because of monopoly zones, although you can negotiate cost a little.

I signed up for a home service package that included some of the regular services (call waiting, caller ID, etc.), as well as international long distance.
Obviously, the cost of the international long distance depended on how many calls I made. The other services should have had a fixed rate. However, not counting the international service, my bill usually fluctuated from month to month. Every time I called the explanation was different and, every time, I was told the person I had talked to the last time had made a mistake.
The last drop was when I started getting charges on my bill from some modeling service (whatever that might be). I called twice to have this cancelled, and the charge kept re-appearing on my bill. The last time I called, I spoke to a young man who told me, in a very unfriendly

, that those charges were my responsibility because they were from a service I had signed up for (I guess he wasn't listening when I started the call by saying I had never ordered that service).
Also, at one point I had had dial-up internet through

, which just stopped working one day. When I called about this I was told the problem had something to do with my computer. Really? From one day to another all of a sudden there was something wrong with my computer? Funny because I signed up with another carrier and had no issues for the next two years (when I got a new computer).
As a result, I cancelled my home phone service. I have no intention of hiring

again.

I've had cable, home phone and internet with TW for over 5 years. Cable and phone are OK with very few problems, but ... internet is absolutely horrible! And, customer service ... even worse.
Today I had to call four times and speak with six different people (the connection was lost three times) and I had to explain the problem over and over again. On the first call the rep either would not or was too untrained to LISTEN to my problem because she insisted on checking the modem which had been working until she had me unplug all the cables including the coax cable and reset it. After that the modem wouldn't work any more and I lost complete internet access. I originally called about no wireless access, but now I didn't have any internet access due to the tech's evident lack of training. It took about two hours and speaking with six people before the modem started working again (on its own- not with TW's help) but wireless still wasn't working correctly which is what I originally called about.
I was told that it would be six days before they could get anyone out. That was the best they could offer six - yes that is 6 - days! Over the 5 years there have been numerous problems (at least 10 now) and each time the tech would rewire everything saying the previous guy didn't know how to do it right. But each time nothing worked any better. There are wires hanging down all over the basement ceiling from all these re-wires which I understand is a fire hazard and could cost me my insurance . Oh, yes they say wireless doesn't work well in old houses?? So, people who live in older homes don't have wireless in Cincinnati? That sounds like spin to me.
This company has terrible customer service and worse technical support!

The broadband service that we have available to us in the whole area is pitiful from everybody. It's been fine, when all we are getting is email and using the internet a little bit. But if you want to stream a video, forget it. There isn't enough capacity where we live to begin to do that. My wife couldn't even watch a crummy video from YouTube without it buffering over and over again. We are not feed out of one of their main offices. We are feed out of their substation and on weekends and evenings when people are using it, all you can do is send an email or little things on the internet. We had people out several times to look at it and they told us that it doesn't have the capacity. They were very professional when they came.
