Interior Painting Reviews in Cincinnati

Very prompt on initial estimate and contract. Had to wait awhile for wet weather this summer but entire project done in 3 days when started: 1st day pressure washed entire house; 2nd & 3rd days porch scraping, and 1st & 2nd coats of paint. I was pleasantly surprised he (owner
) assigned 4 workers to my small cottage house, which as stated, only needed trim and porch. So..3 days total was excellent in my book. Job very well done; very neat precise painting; workers very professional and prompt.
checked on them 2nd day & we both reviewed work & a few very minor areas that needed a little extra paint.
(& his very nice office worker
) also worked with me very well in that I finally found my perfect shade of green but in another brand; he had it matched by Porter's (& he recommended
for porch, which I also chose.) The match was perfect; I was very picky about the green, and had purchased several samples that I used on foundation 1st.

This was a job "well done!' For anyone looking for careful preparation of the surface, actual painting and great cleanup, we would recommend
. We are well pleased.

, the owner, was very professional with his estimate and also prompt. However, scheduling the start and estimating the length of the job were tenuous. His initial estimate (4/8/2014) was for two days and the job to be done during the end May - job was finally finished after three days on 6/10/2014. He explained the problem with being very busy, juggling with the weather (since he also does exterior work), and drywall blemishes were worst than expected .

reached out immediately after the coupon was purchased. Due to the response, we had to wait 6 weeks for the service, but this was communicated up front, so not a big deal. Closer to the date,
Cincinnati Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
reached out to change it, but that was also fine as it happens. The day of the service,

ran about 15 minutes late, but upon starting was thorough, filled in holes from items on the walls previously (as requested) and left the room in good order.

mentioned the other services he provides and we are considering utilizing for projects in the future. Overall, a very solid experience.

did a fantastic job. The house is older and he made it look brand new. There is lots of woodwork and he did an outstanding job on that, the ceilings and the walls. He exceeded my expectations in every way.

and her assistant,

, worked all of one day and parts of two other days to accomplish all of this painting in our home. They worked very efficiently and were extremely pleasant to deal with. We were very happy with the results. Everything looks so much better! We especially like the new color on the outside of our front door! We felt the price was very reasonable for all of the work that was completed.

It went fantastic!

did an incredible, thorough job. They came each day at the time they told me and worked hard all day. They paid attention to all details such as making sure the glue from the wallpaper was removed, that everything was primed, that the curved ceilings had straight lines of separation between the wall paint and the ceiling paint. They always cleaned up around their supplies, when they left each day. I gave them permission to leave their paint drops and supplies. They are really friendly and pleasant people and I enjoyed talking with them and watching their work progress. And I was really happy with the quality of their work.

arrived a bit early and went to immediately to work. Set up and painted one coat. He broke for lunch came back and painted a second coat when the first was completed. I usually paint myself and am very particular with cutting in and coverage.

did a great job. I have no complaints. He also does handy man type work. I'm going to try him with some odd jobs.

I recently decided to finish my basement and needed to have the walls and ceiling drywalled. I received quotes from 5-6 other drywall contractors, including several of the top rated picks from Angie's List. I was amazed by the range of quotes that I received for ths job, which ranged from around $2,000 to nearly $5,000. While price was obviously a part of my decision, it wasn't necessarily the most important criteria... I was most concerned about getting the job done right and choosing somebody that I felt comfortable with doing the work inside of my home. After meeting with each of the contractors and having them provide onsite quotes, I ultimately chose

, the only company that wasn't currently on Angie's List. Even though this company wasn't on Angie's List, I felt comfortable moving forward as the owner,

seemed very professional. L spent a great deal of time talking me through the process, answering my questions, and even provided references upon my request. Not only did I find L to be more thorough than the other drywall companies that I contacted but he was also coincidentally MUCH cheaper. He also allowed me to purchase my own materials, which helped to further manage my costs (although, in retrospect I wouldn't recommend this as the drywall was a PAIN to transport). To hang/finish the entire basement (walls/ceiling), L charged me $1,100. I also had him sand/resurface the stairway leading down into the basement to make it match the new area, which added an extra $300. With materials, my total cost came to around $1,900 ($1,400 for labor and around $500 for drywall, mud, tape, etc.)
In terms of the quality of the work that was performed, I have been very pleased. The drywall for entire basement was hung in 2 days and L came out and finished the rest over the course of the next week so (allowing sufficient dry times for each coat). L and his team were always very courteous and kept me informed of the status of the job throughout. Upon completion, I told L that I would provide a review via Angie's List and have already recommended him to my brother-in-law who is in the process of finishing his basement as well. I'm not really sure what else the places that quoted nearly $5,000 could have done much better to warrant such a big price gap but if you are searching for a drywall contractor, I would definitely recommend giving

a call.
