Hvac Reviews in Cincinnati

AMAZING JOB. On time, high quality, thorough explanation of what was causing the drain clogs and clear details on what the solutions were to fix. I will be bringing them back for future plumbing needs!
- carl B.

Technician showed up during scheduled window, was friendly, explained needed repairs. Was neat in appearance, well-spoken, knowledgeable, and was courteous. Did not attempt to "sell" me on anything, but did provide objective answers to my questions about the expected lifetime of my existing unit, as well as information about future options when replacement is functionally due (my HVAC system is 19 years old).

Hvac reviews in Cincinnati

The owner,
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, was very nice and spent plenty of time with us, both during the estimate visit and the follow-up visit. His crew members were friendly, polite and professional. They never seemed to mind any questions from either my husband or myself. (I have found that some workmen talk down to women but they did not). They protected our rugs, furniture, and doors as they went in and out with the equipment. They arrived on time and worked hard the whole day. They cleaned up before they left. At the end of the 1st day they already had our air conditioner up and running and the hot water back on so we were never left needing anything. The 2nd day they finished the furnace and duct work and odds and ends. We would recommend them.

This is the third time we have called
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
when we have had problems with our 25 yr old (now) air conditioner. We have always been pleased with their service and this time was not an exception. We realized our air conditioner was not working on a Saturday evening. We called
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and a serviceman called us back within a half hour. He said he would stop over early am the next (Sunday) morning. He came around 8am and was able to replace one part, but the other part we needed was an odd size and he didn't have that size in his truck (he explained and showed the parts to us). He said he would stop back in his shop to see if they had one there, if not, he would have to get one early Monday am and replace it then. He called soon after and told us that he didn't have the right size and would have to get it in the am and would be over around 8 the next morning. We were not going to be home at that time, but the unit was outside and he didn't need us to be there. He came over like he said, replaced the part, checked that it was working and called us to let us know the status. Couldn't have asked for better service -- these things always seem to happen on the weekend. He kept us informed and followed through on our problem.
Will continued to call
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
for our air conditioning needs in the future.

As with prior visits, the service technician called me in the morning to confirm the appointment and give me an approximate window of time for his arrival based on the number of stops he had before me. I think he arrived within thirty minutes of the start of that window.
This tech was very friendly and professional (I seem to get a different tech with every visit but have found each to be consistently friendly, professional and knowledgeable). He asked me how the system was working and if there were any problems. He then explained everything he was doing and why and commented on what he seeing during the inspection (in this case good - when I had my earlier system they pointed out areas of wear and potential problems). He saved the cleaning of the AC condenser fan for last so that he didn't have to re-enter the house with wet boots. I've observed every inspection each year and he was as thorough as the other techs were and stayed on task until the job was finished. I believe the cost of the service call was either the same or very close to the cost of last years.
There was a little confusion last year as the dispatcher may not have told the tech I wanted both the AC and furnace inspected last summer (the tech was only expecting to do the AC), but he did the extra work with no problems. I did make sure to confirm with the tech this year that I needed both units serviced plus the filter change.
All of my dealings with
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
over the past fifteen years in this home have been positive and I will continue to turn to them for my hearing and cooling needs.

This is the second HVAC job that
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
did for us. He previously replaced a cooling unit in the summer of 2012. He is "our guy" for heating and cooling at our home and our rental property next door. He has integrity first and foremost. He honestly assesses the problem and advises on whether to replace or repair - no scare tactics to try to convince you to replace. In the case of the cooling unit, which was about 25 years old, he tried to repair it first, stating that it might not work but was worth the try. Well, it shortly went back out, but
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
came right back out and, as promised, credited the amount I paid for the repair to the replacement cost. He also replaced the thermostat. He gives several price options to fit within your budget and needs. He is easy to contact and responsive. He charges a very fair price. He is pleasant person. I highly recommend him.

I decided to change from my current A/C furnace service to
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
based on the positive feedback on Angie's List. I was not disappointed.
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
arrived on time and did the service as requested. I had an online coupon that would not print out; I told the person when I made the appointment and she said she would note it on the schedule. I wondered if I would have a problem with it but I didn't.
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was aware of it and only charged me the coupon amount. I dislike having the argue with businesses over a few dollars so I was happy with their responsiveness. As with most A/C companies today, there was a sales pitch at the end of the service review (i.e. service contract, allergan filter that cost $600). However, there was no high pressure, just an explanation of what it could do for us. This was one reason I moved from my previous A/C/furnace service; they wanted me to sign a high priced service contract which I never do. They did not want to take "no" for an answer. I appreciated
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
's low key salesmanship; if it had been high pressure I would have been looking for yet another service company! I was most happy with their service and will call them for the furnace tuneup in the Fall or any other AC or furnace issues than come up.

We recently moved into a home without central air, and having ac installed was a priority for us. I began to contact HVAC providers in the Cincinnati area as soon as the home was under contract, but had a lot of folks either not return my calls, or tell me what they would not do. I contacted one company who we had done business with in the past, and they flat out told me they would not touch the project until the Fall, because they were too busy.
Well, I went to Angieslist and came across
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, who we had no prior experience with. From the initial call, to the in-home visit two days later, I knew these were the guys. They were responsive, respectful, professional and have done a great job. We had air installed on the second floor of our home, and will leave the first floor for next year, which was a perfect solution for our needs and budget. I am very impressed with the work they have done, the fact they worked this tough job into their schedule and they did a great job cleaning up after a very messy task. Not only would I recommend
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
to our friends, we will be using them again in the Fall when it comes to tuning up our furnace. These guys care about the work they perform, and have certainly earned our business.

I'm really surprised that this happened, because this company receives such stellar reviews, but unfortunately we had a pretty bad experience.
We bought the $55 furnace tune-up through Angie's List. I will say that everyone I spoke to at this company, from the scheduler to the tech, were very pleasant and professional. We scheduled the service for December 10, which ended up being five days after my son was born. The tech was punctual, professional and very nice, but after looking at the furnace he came
back upstairs and told us the entire thing needed to be replaced. Actually, he said it was a carbon monoxide hazard and that it wasn't really in "working order." I was holding a five-day old baby and he was basically telling us that we were risking carbon monoixde poisoning if we continued to run the furnace as it was.
Of course we took this seriously and agreed to have someone else from
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
come out to give us an estimate asap on a new furnace. My husband ran out immediately and bought multiple carbon monoxide detectors. In the mean time, I called our home warranty company to ask about the process for having this work done. They informed me that
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
wasn't on their list of vendors and we'd need to have another company come out to look at the furnace.
Shortly after, I received a call from a scheduler at
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
who was prepared to send someone else out the same day to give us an estimate on a new furnace. I told that unfortunately we couldn't use
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
because of our home warranty guidelines, but thanked her for the quick response.
The next day, a tech from the other, warranty-approved company came to our house and inspected the furnace. He told us there was nothing wrong with it, and essentially the tech from
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was trying to scam us. Presumably this guy could have gone along with what we'd been told by
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and sold us a brand new furnace, covered by the warranty company, but he chose to tell us that he saw no evidence of a problem and didn't think we needed to be concerned.
Obviously we kept multiple carbon monoxide detectors around the house as we ran the furnace during one of the worst winters on record, and there was no problem.
At this point I have to believe the tech from
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was lying, which makes me even more angry because he saw that we had a
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and what he told us obviously made us scared for his safety.

My furnace was blowing cold air for a few days and I called several companies to get someone out to repair it. My main concern was getting it fixed fast so I knew there was a
Cincinnati HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
I'd end up paying more than necessary if I just went with anyone. I probably could have gotten a better price if I'd waited and compared prices, but I just wanted the heat on (this winter was ridiculously cold). I took whoever showed up first. The rep was good, didn't make idle chit chat and told me what needed done and did it promptly when I approved of the work. Furnace was blowing hot air before he left. Good work, but the price was too high in my opinion.
