Flooring Reviews in Cincinnati

Everything went really well. Bill and
arrived at the time I expected and worked diligently all day the first day and half of the second day. They moved my
and one counter out and carefully took out the existing toe boards. Next, they removed the top
of sheet linoleum, found the spots that were not level across the entire floor and put leveler over those spots. After that dried they started laying the floor and cutting the tiles around cabinets and door spaces. They were really accurate in their cutting and there are no visible gaps along the walls. On one door I had an existing gap and they cut into the existing door floor board and cut a small piece of tile to go under that so no gap would remain. They put the toe boards back in and moved the
, cabinet and refrigerator back into the correct spaces. They did no damage as they moved items. I am really pleased with the final result.

Essentially, an employee comes to measure, give you a price and assures you they will take care of the installation.
What happens is they send out some hillbilly contractors that apparently don't get paid enough to do the job correctly and you never hear from
again except to collect the final payment.
They allow smoking and drinking and sleeping at your premises. YOU have to deal with the hillbillies yourself who insist you sign off that the work is complete, but assure you'll they'll come back to fix what is wrong later.
I paid a premium for a professional job. If I wanted hillbillies to come and do a half-assed job, I could have paid half!
doesn't give 2 cents whether or not your job is done properly because they never plan on seeing you again.
is the installer for Lowe's and Lumber Liquidators. BEWARE!

(the owner) came out and did an estimate about 6 weeks before the job was to take place. His estimate was similar to another I had received, but he came highly recommended from my neighbor (a contractor).

arrived Minday morning and immediately went to work ripping out the existing carpet and then laying the new hardwood.
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
told me he would need about 2 weeks depending on the weather and it actually was dry and ready to be walked on in 9 days, it was very hot and humid so it took an extra couple days for the stain and semi-gloss to dry. They were super professional, worked hard and did a beautiful job on the floors. I had a super dark stain in mind, but after trailing many stains,

From the moment I contacted
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
he was fantastic to work with. I was intrigued by his business model of not having a showroom and office so gave him a

and three other carpet companies (including a big box store).
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
asked us what sort of carpet we were interested and pulled up in his van to show us the samples that he had available. His selection was limited only by the type of carpet and tile we had asked him to bring to show us. However, we easily found carpeting we liked and even upgraded a bit to get a slightly more durable and nicer weave.
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
's quoted price, even after we chose an upgrade on carpet, was cheaper than the other 3 competitors and he didn't flinch at having to work with the pool table we had in the basement.
A couple of days before we were to install the carpet, we informed
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
that we hadn't been able to get rid of the pool table. He simply had his guys take care of the problem for us.
His guys worked fast and quickly moving furniture and installing the carpet in what I thought was really good time. The job came out extremly professionally.
We did have one minor hiccup where they had to get extra vinyl tiles for the bathroom because it had been left out of the plan. However, within the next day they quickly finished the tile work.
There were some quirks through the whole process that kind of points out the fact that these guys are professional carpet installers and not polished sales people. I viewed this actually as a positive, as the work they did on the carpets was fantastic and the price was right. Would use again!!

Two subs were used, one for the tile and the other for the carpet. They both were punctual and did an excellent job. There were a few glitches with the tile installation but
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
quickly worked with the installer to correct them. The carpet installers were amazing. They did the rooms I mentioned in two days, including moving the furniture and putting it back. The carpet and tile are beautiful.
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, the company President, was a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends!!

We were moving back to
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and wanted to have carpet and flooring installed before the move. We called
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, and she was great in working with our realtor to get measurements and helping us to choose what we wanted. The installation of the carpeting went off without a hitch, and when the movers arrived the bedrooms were ready to go.
There was a delay on the delivery of the kitchen flooring, and
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
's team handled it wonderfully. The installer,
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, was great in working around the mess, and even came in over the weekend to make sure the work was completed before our appliances arrived. Everyone was polite, professional and we had no qualms having
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
or her folks in our home.
Without a doubt we would use them again, and even recommended
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Int'l to my parents, who are planning on using them for an upcoming project. I did have a friend who works in the interior design field look at
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
's estimate who found the price to be reasonable and fair for the work being completed. We were more concerned about quality and professionalism than outright price. We are glad we did, because they did great work.

Great--professional, good work, great carpet, good price. My only complaint: I was scheduled for an afternoon installation and they insisted on coming in the morning because it worked best for them. This put me in a bind.

The carpeting sale and installation went without a hitch, as did the vinyl installation. The hardwood, not so much. The set up of appointments is very sketchy. They call you with a date to start and then the subcontractor is supposed to call you on the day to give you an idea of when they will arrive. They call in the morning and give you an estimated time of arrival. When they are leaving the previous job they call you again, or not. I have been waiting for my Thursday morning appointment--it is now 6:00 p.m. on Friday. I've had calls, but it continues to be a no show.
Of course, I'm only waiting for the matching hardwood
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
covers to be installed, but the point is that this is the fourth attempt to get them stained with the correct color and finish. Picky me, I want them to match the floor.
We have tried to have a sense of humor regarding their inability to match something when they have a sample in hand, but it has been a two month process! The sense of humor is totally gone and there is still a hole in the floor and a no show two days in a row.
Monday morning will have me screaming at someone.

Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and his brother were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They did an excellent job on our floors! They were previously stained with a dark stain and after sanding we choose to go with the natural oak and no stain and they turned out amazing! They also buffed and applied 3 coats of polyurethane and replaced the shoe molding. The company feathered in an area where I removed about 3ft of wall and discovered the floors were not run under the wall.
Cincinnati Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was able to order the wood and match the bevel that was on my existing floors and replace the area so that you never knew it existed. Just overall very knowledgeable, professional company that provides a good value and shows up on time and completes the job right.
- Josh B.

It went great. They were very reasonable on negotiating a price for removal of the old carpet, which I really appreciated. The new carpet looks and feels awesome.
