Floor Cleaning Reviews in Cincinnati

I first had contact with this company on
1st 2013. They came out to clean my couch. When they arrived and looked at my couch I was told it had to be Dry Cleaned instead of the steam clean because of the fabric. This is when
disappears into my bathroom.
explained the process and the difference between the two cleanings. I decided not to have it cleaned. He was very knowledgeable and professional.
As we waited (and waited) for
to get out of the bathroom, we talked about the slate tile in my foyer and what it takes to clean it.
told me what was involved and a ball park estimate. I remarked several times about the length of time
was in the bathroom.
By then the smell was overwhelming and he hadn't even come out yet. When that bathroom door finally opened, I was literally gagging. I had also pulled up my shirt to cover my nose and mouth. I was p*****,
kept apologizing.
I called the owner (
) and explained what happened. He was almost speechless. Pretty much apologized and asked what he could do. I didn't want anything except to bring this to his attention and to address it. We talked a little bit about how he didn't even want his employee's to smoke because of the odor they bring into homes.
Although I had a bad experience the first time, I thought
handled it well and decided to give this company a second
About a month later, I called and set up an appointment to have
do my foyer. I also decided to have my carpets cleaned.
We talked about who would come out with
and it was going to be their only non-smoker,
I made it clear that my first priority was my foyer.
Next came the problems.
decided he couldn't do the foyer. They gave me the phone # of someone who could. After talking to this other guy, I decided not to use him. He was a commercial property professional but couldn't afford him to do what little needed to be done.
I called
back, we talked, addressed
's concerns over doing the foyer, and decided that
would do it.
I told them I had to have this completed by Aug. 28th.
Over the next few weeks,
would send his employee's out without an appointment or to clean carpets only or they would cancel because someone was sick/working out of town/died/family emergency.......
The final straw for me was on Aug. 26th. They never showed up and never called.
When I called to ask if they were running late, I was told that
had tried to call me to cancel because of (pick one).
He never called me, he said he did.
The bottom line.....
The owner allows his employee's to call the shots. They do the job only if they want to. Make up excuses.
Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe this.
I should never have given this company a second
The guy crapping in my bathroom and making my home smell worse than a port-a-potty showed total disrespect.
And after the run around I got on top of this just shows the owner condones this behavior.
One good thing came out of this. I joined Angie's List afterwards.

I got them off Angie’s list. I rate them high. They are very honest. They come when they say they are going to come. They work very well. Their charges depend on the size of the house. My house has two floors and they charge me $150 each time they come. I think their prices are fair because they do top notch work. I have signed them up until they do not want to do the work anymore.

I had contacted them to paint the exterior of my mother in law's home, the interior, and also to refinish the wood floors in the home. He does not finish what is contracted for and he does not care about customer satisfaction. I would advise everyone to say away from them because they did not finish the job that has been contracted with us. He even took me to court because I would not advance him any more money before the job was done.

I called expecting to have to schedule a cleaning a few days ahead of time, and they were able to come out same day. Very patient and answered every question that i had (I had a lot since this was the first time I'd used a cleaning service). They arrived a bit later than the time we talked about, but got straight to work, worked very quickly and efficiently. They were very friendly and professional. They listened to the instructions we gave about which parts to avoid. I believe they used some kind of natural cleaning products, had hint of a clean vinegar smell, which disappeared quickly after cleaning was over. This was a big plus for me, as i like the idea of not using a lot of chemicals (which don't smell any more pleasant). They did a great job in cleaning. It wasn't consistently white-glove-test perfect throughout the entire house, but much of it was and any of the areas that were not perfectly clean were certainly not unacceptably so. If I had to sum up the whole experience: friendly and professional, great value (quality level relative to the cost), easy to do business with.

It was a good experience. The shower and kitchen floor look much, much better.

work was very well-done - the lines are straight and crisp - same for the caulk work. The kitchen grout is much, much improved. It is not quite as good as new, but they told me that in advance. The only hiccup was some minor communication issues in getting the estimate, but it was minor and overall the company was very responsive.

Outstanding service. Had to schedule cleaning a week or two in advance, which was not a problem for me. Excellent communication about expectations, outstanding job cleaning (with several stains removed that I did not anticipate would come out), very prompt and professional. I will most definitely use them again in the future.

It was OK, the owner,

and her receptionist,

, were very nice and professional for the most part.
Cincinnati Floor Cleaners Provider Name Locked
could have been more informative about the price. There was a misunderstanding about it. She or her receptionist at first quoted $80/hour. But when the bill came out they had charged $160/hour. I questioned
Cincinnati Floor Cleaners Provider Name Locked
about it and she said that she would never have quoted that amount...and that's all she told me. So of course I was thinking they ripped my mother off. Finally, after a few phone calls,
Cincinnati Floor Cleaners Provider Name Locked
told me that they had to double the price because they had double the workers. Well, if she would have explained it that way in the beginning, there would have been no problem, but my mother (who is elderly) was very upset. She just lost her husband in April, so she didn't need this upset from them. One of the workers put the dustpan on the kitchen counter. Another worker or maybe the same one, had a bad attitude with my mother when she was wanting them to hurry it up. I think they did a good job in general, but the things I have mentioned has made the experience not good in general.

The crew and the owner of

arrived on time. The
Cincinnati Floor Cleaners Provider Name Locked
owner and her three person crew had me take them on a tour of the house. I pointed out areas that needed particular attention. We toured the entire house including the finished basement which was not included in the initial clean. I told the owner my budget limit, which meant the crew would stop at the end of 3 hours. The owner gave me her cell phone number in case I needed to contact her about anything and she left. The cleaning crew got started cleaning upstairs. The crew spent a lot of time on the bathrooms especially cleaning the tiles, grout, and shower door frames. The crew worked steadily and only took one short break during the 3 hours they were in the house. The crew spent two hours cleaning upstairs and only had an hour or so for the downstairs cleaning. The crew worked even harder to complete the downstairs in an hour. The owner of the company returned just before the 3 hours was up. She wanted to know was I satisfied with the work her crew had done. When the 3 hours were up the crew had just about finished downstairs. I paid the owner by check (they accept credit cards also). Even when the three hours were up one of the ladies continued to hand wash the hardwood floor in the kitchen and entry area. She did not stop until she had finished the downstairs floor and the hardwood stairs to the 2nd floor. When the

crew left the house looked and smelled very fresh and clean. The crew even changed out burned out light bulbs. I had the house cleaned when my wife was out of town. When she came home all she could say was, Wow. During the first day my wife was home she kept finding little surprises. She took a bath and commented the tub and tile grout had not been that clean for years. The crystal chandelier in the kitchen had been cleaned so it looked like new. She asked what kind of vacuum the crew used because the carpet looked and felt cleaner than when we vacuum.

They were a very difficult company to work with. I had to constantly find out when they were going to come to do the work, they never called me to let me know the schedule. They needed to be supervised but weren't. We had to go over a number of things that they left. They said they were going to use a whole piece on a certain area but they used a split piece. They had to come out to fix that because I complained. We had to constantly watch over them and it wasn't a comfortable experience.

We consider
Cincinnati Floor Cleaners Provider Name Locked
one of the better carpet cleaning companies. On this particular visit they had to return to redo a high traffic area, but otherwise the carpets were cleaned well and they left no excessive water allowing the carpets to dry quickly.
