Cincinnati Fence Installers Reviews

"The workmanship was excellent, they were very attentive to detail regarding what I wanted and how I wanted it to look. In terms of the fence itself I could not be happier. They even helped arrange the fence to allow for a large tree on the property line to be included in the construction without damaging the tree iteself nor allowing any gaps between the fence and the tree. This was not an easy task, but they were up to it and did it well. The problem I had with

was timing. I signed the contract in May 2013, but construction did not start until August. I can understand that things came up, including a wet summer which would have slowed their installations elsewhere, but I did not hear from them once until they were ready to install. Then, after the installation was done, there were some minor tweaks which needed to be done. They guarantee their work so there was no question on their part that they would do it. However, it took many attempts to contact them, leaving several messages, to get them to respond at all in order to set up any work. Then, even after the head of the maintenance group came out to look at and assess the work needed, even he forgot for over a month. As such, the final work was not done until just before Christmas. If asked if I would recommend them, yes for their work, but I would keep on top of them if you need something done quickly.
"The guys showed up in the morning, on time, and in the snow. Installed a beautiful privacy fence and were finished and cleaned up everything by 3;30 that afternoon.

was a pleasure to deal with, they did a great job and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend their company if you have a project.
"I have no idea who this company is, I have never used or heard of them. I've written 2 times now that I've never used this company. please stop sending me this!
"I had to make two calls to the company before I received a return call for the estimate. To me, a customer shouldn't have to beg for services to be rendered.
I (probably wrongly, on my part) disclosed that this would be a small job, when I made the initial contact. I wanted an addition to the size of my current chain link fence. Their seeming lack of interest made me feel as though there wasn't much money to be made so it wasn't worth their time to even respond.
I already had an estimate from EME, who installed my current fence about 20 years ago. I haven't yet had the work done but will be going with EME to complete the project, Not

"We had bought a fence from
Cincinnati Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
so our dogs could use the yard. We were very satisfied. Our dogs died and we got a 50 pound dog and then a 12 pound dog who could get through our fence. We called
Cincinnati Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
for help. We were told that chicken wire would work. They sent out a worker quickly who was very slow. Even though he was told and saw our 50 pound dog, he did not use enough fasteners to prevent our dog from knocking down the chicken wire. We told them and they sent another worker who used more ties. It did not keep the fence up and I contacted

for other ideas. They never called me back. I have since had someone else put in a different kind of materials that is holding up.
"It was a disaster!! They gave an inaccurate bid to begin with. They installed the fence opening out instead of in as the instructions dictated and as I expected. They said it couldn't be done because of the level of my drive, yet the company that finally came out to correct their inferior work (when it completely broke down) fixed it the way it was supposed to have been installed and made it work properly.

contracted their work out to a small business company of two unprofessional looking young men who installed it and left it inoperable stating that I had to get in touch with the company. In doing so
Cincinnati Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
said I had to get my own electrician to get the gate to operate yet I was never told that in the original bid . The other bids that I got included that cost which made their bid higher. I went with the middle bid which was

went ahead a got their electrician to install the gate operating system that was a part of the bid but he installed it right where the subcontracted company installed it. They did not make any adjustments to make it right and only insisted that they couldn't make it rotate inward because of the level of my drive. Had it have been installed higher off the ground, as I later learned, it could have been done. All over the next few months there were numerous problems with the gate operating and they had to come out to my house to fix it. The only thing they would do was to fix a loose screw. They never really fixed it . I told them I was going to get a second opinion and I did.

Fence found numerous problems and I tried to let

know this but they refused to answer my calls. I finally had to get another company to fix their work! This was the worse experiences that I have ever had in my life!! When I checked the internet there were a lot of comments that sounded just like mine! I would not recommend this company to anyone. I had to pay an additional $1500 to have another company fix their work . They were paid $14,500 this inferior work and bad experience. What they did to me was criminal and they appear to be getting away with it because no one really follows thru to hold them accountable. I am currently in discussions with the Attorney Generals Office and they seem to not be able to hold them accountable as well. I am waiting to here from them as they keep passing me on to other departments. In summary I say BEWARE OF

!! do was tighten a screw. They never really fixed it and finally it broke down and didn't work at all. I told them I was getting a second opinion and I did. Numerous problems were found but they refused to fix it and stopped returning my calls.
"We wanted a fence for the back yard that would keep our dogs safe, block the view of a busy street along the back, and fit in with our nice, new neighborhood.
We got bids from three companies that all had A ratings on Angie's List.
The bids ranged from $4,000 to $6,500.
The low bid was tempting because it was so much cheaper -- but quite vague on the specifics and it seemed to leave open a lot of possibilities for unpleasant surprises and extra charges. The high bid was beautifully detailed and the company's reviews were truly wonderful, but the cost was just too much higher to justify.
All along, our instincts were telling us to choose the middle bidder,

-- because of professionalism and credibility of Bill

himself. After meeting with him and talking on the phone, we just really felt he was the person we trusted to do the job.
He really took an interest in our project, offering many helpful suggestions -- on everything from how to make the transition from the privacy portion to lower sections look better, to how to best do the gates, what we should spend money on and where it would be okay to save on costs. Plus, we liked that he and his son are always on the job themselves.
He addressed our concerns about making sure the fence would be built low enough to keep in a small dog who might try to go under and tall enough for a dog who could jump a

fence with standard-height pickets.

turned out to be a very good choice. The fence looks great, gates look great, and they finished the job in just three days. Bill and his crew were great to work with, friendly and very polite, and cleaned up everything afterwards -- even hauling off the brush they had to trim back to make way for the fence.
Two other "extras" are worth mentioning: As they worked, we were moving dirt and pavers from a small garden that was going to be in the way of one gate. This was not something they were expected to be involved in at all, but when we ran into the remains of an old coal chute, they pitched in with a pry bar and "elbow grease" and really helped us out. Also, the vinyl fence removal was far more difficult and time-consuming than they expected, and the fence actually ended up being several feet longer than anticipated. We had changed our minds more than once on where we wanted the fence to meet the garage. We offered to pay for the extra length, but Bill declined. To us, that was just further proof we'd made the right choice in going with

"The measurements were taken on site with careful attention to drainage pipes, trees & bushes near the fence line, and the property line. All the fence posts are set in pea gravel instead of concrete, and have held up perfectly. The ground slopes unevenly, yet the finished fence has a smooth slope without gaps at the bottom that the dog would get through. The fence was installed in good time, and the site well-cleared of debris afterwards.
"We thought that they wouldn't do a small job. But, they did and they did a great job! They were 2 weeks faster and even slightly less expensive than the Home Depot installer. Thanks!
"They were Quick, unimposing, and polite. It seemed like a magic trick. one moment i had a old delapidated split rail fence and in moments i had a new good looking slit rail fence. NO fuss NO
