"We worked with our own designer to create a basement plan and then contacted three builders for proposals.  We chose because of their professional proposal and the fact that their pricing presentation made us more comfortable than the other two contenders.  We also felt that we were getting more for our money ...more with them.  They started the job a couple weeks after we accepted their proposal.  Work on framing seemed to progress quickly.  Each day we made sure to check what had been done and would have done this with anyone.  A couple of times we found discrepancies with what we had asked to be done but when we emailed or called

, it was immediately corrected and with no hassle. 

and his two employees were great to work with and he worked well with us even though there were several items that we were pretty picky on.  Several times,

made minor changes for us at no cost (additional outlets, can lights, placement of light switches).  He also coordinated getting the fireplace we purchased installed even though this was outside of our contract.  The wood bar top 

did came out very nice and was exactly the look and feel that we wanted.  Communication was good and we worked a lot through email. The plumber that

worked with was quick and efficient but we had some issues with water hammer.  We don't believe that the pipes were totally secured as they should have been.  The plumber had to come out after the basement was finished and install a extra piece on the hot water pipe for the bathroom.  Since we had an access panel in the bathroom ceiling for electrical, no drywall had to be disturbed.  However, we would suggest that you make sure your pipes are secured all around before the drywall is installed. One area that

did for us that we didn't feel was quite up to par was the painting.  There seemed to be several areas where there were drips, uneven edges, spots missed etc.  On some of the doors and trim they missed areas.  However, once this was pointed out to them, it was fixed.  Compared to others we have had do painting for us, they weren't as good. did a great job for us.  We would hire them again in a heartbeat.  There was absolutely no

-foolery about "oh that is going to cost more" and there was no hassle about things we thought needed to be corrected or done.

During their time at the house, they were very professional and tidy. They would leave a clean work area at night and made the construction as un-invasive as possible on day to day life. We have three young children, so they would take that into consideration when packing up for the day. It was nice to not have to worry about dangerous environments.

even let one of my kids help him apply mud to the drywall a little. The project was complete in 5 days exceeding the expectations we had when we saw the final results. The house looks like it should have been built this way from the beginning and we have been kicking ourselves for not having this work done years ago. We highly recommend

and will definitely use them for any future work we would need completed at our house. "

"We decided to upgrade the coach lights outside our front door to gas lights after finding this company. They make unique exterior gas lights that can be turned on/off with a light switch - very cool, but expensive (we also had to run gas lines to the lights which cost an additional $2,000). Anyway they took much longer to manufacture than quoted ...more and getting updates/info along the way was like pulling teeth. What information we did receive was incorrect and numerous emails and calls went unanswered. Once they fiinally arrived, the lights had to be sent back to correct the wall

and since we installed them they've been problematic. After the intial installation the customer service we received was fine when we were able to reach someone. Now, 6 months later the company is next to impossible to reach again. They've now acknowledged my emails have gone unanswered; told me their telephone number was highjacked (how does that happen); and the instock parts I ordered 10 days ago have not shipped - prompting another call and my holding to speak with the owner (

) for 10 minutes only to be disconnected...necessitating yet another call. :-( VERY FRUSTRATING. Net Result: I now have the owner's "assurance" the part will ship today or tomorrow. This is a NEAT product and the only one I'm aware of. They seem to mean well but are extremely unorganized and apparently understaffed."

"I needed help re-wiring sconces in my dining room before a dinner party the next day. came right out, fixed the lights, and we didn't have to eat in the dark! They were wonderful!"

"The service provider was very prompt and professional. He was also extremely accomodating about coming back when the roofers were here. The only issue is he wasn't able to find out what caused the problem in the first place but he was able to reroute the electricity so it works.
