Cincinnati Carpet Installers Reviews

"I had waited for four months for another installer who never responded to my calls. So, I gave up, and dropped by McSwains on Glendate
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
Road.
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
waited on me, looked up my past history with McSwains (2 previous purchases) and made recommendations on the best carpeting for me. Within a few days, he came to my house to measure the rooms. He required a 50% deposit. The carpet was ready exactly when
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
said it would be. I made an appointment for the installers to come. They were very punctual and professional. They did an excellent job of laying the carpet. Within a day, I was called to see if I was satisfied. A few days later,
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
called to see if I was happy. The entire job was done well and in a timely fashion. I would definitely use McSwains again.

"He repeatedly put me off. First, he told me he was busy at the dentist. Then,, he told me that he was busy for the next two weeks, and I said that was fine. When I called him back again two weeks later, he said I was on the back burner, and that he was still busy, and that he didn't live that close to my house. However, he never told me that he was unable to do the job. One night he called (the ONLY time he contacted me) and said he could come out the next day, but I already had plans that day and asked if we could re-schedule. The bottom line was that he put me off for three months. I finally went to
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
's and had the job done promptly. I assume his business is going well and that other jobs were more attractive to him than mine, but he never told me that. Instead, every time I called him, I assumed that he was still willing to come. I wish he had told me in August that he was not interested in the job. I would have had my carpeting installed 3 months earlier.

"Ed was able to meet me for an estimate the same day I called as he had had a cancellation. I was able to schedule the work within two weeks. My year and a half old carpeting had "speed bumps", some pretty severe, that needed stretched out. Ed and his son arrived on time (even texted me that morning to confirm when they would be arriving) and completed the work within two hours. The carpeting looks nice and tight and I can't even tell where the hole was patched. Both were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, answered any questions that I had, and cleaned up after themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ed for this type of work in the future.

"Contractor was hired to replace roof, replace floors in two bathrooms, install new carpet and made dry wall repairs. Did complete the roof and did a good job. Job was poorly estimated and additional funds were required upfront to complete the job. Did not have the resources to purchase supplies and pay workers with deposit only and repeatedly requested more money from insurance company and bank in order to get started. Hired unqualified workers for interior work which was substandard and had to be repaired by another contractor. He is a young man without the resources to complete a job as dictated by insurance industry standards. We were left high and dry for quite some time as he had been given all the initial outlay money and nothing else could be advanced for the rest of the work after we fired him.

"Mr. Kairns was very responsive to our needs. It was very convenient for him to bring the carpet samples to our house so that we could choose it with our colors and lighting. The orignal carpet that we picked out was delayed by the manufacturer twice, much to our dismay, and thus delayed our getting back into our bedroom. He and his wife were responsive in bringing out other carpet options from which to choose, and ultimately ended up installing on a Saturday to get us back into our bedroom earlier. His son did the installation, and did a very nice job with it, installing subtle ramps to match the tile height in our bathroom. The carpet is soft, well padded, and looks terrific. Ultimately, we think we like our second choice better than we would have liked the first.

"When we purchased our new house we knew the first thing on our to-do list was to completely gut our existing kitchen along with the floor and install new cabinetry, countertops, and flooring along with new appliances. I spoke with three different providers for this job and ended up selecting
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
based on both their Angies list review and the fact that they beat the price on the project (for the exact same brand products) by leaps and bounds. Now that the project is complete I'm also blown away at the quality of work and professionalism of this team, especially given such competitive pricing.
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew were excellent at what they did. I would consider my wife and I as having pretty high standards and
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
surpassed all of them. Even small details that we asked for weren't forgotten. When there would be a correction needed or a slight change, they were extremely quick to make it right. I've heard horror stories from friends about contractors quoting a project, then doing additional work and then charging them more for it, but after all the dust had settled, they always honored their quoted prices and even threw in a few upgrades!
After finishing the kitchen, we've continued to use
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
for additional projects and have continued to have a great experience. we've had them continue on to do updates to bathrooms, custom basement work, and even smaller things such as fixing leaking showers. I'll have to review some of the other projects separately but I can say these will be our go-to people for any house projects in the future.

"Excellent.

,
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
came to our home, asked questions about what we wanted, and offered samples and advice based on our responses.
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
measured the area and he and
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
then immediately worked out a quote, which happened to be about $1200 LESS than the quote we received from
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
for the same area and similar carpeting.
Installation took place about four weeks from the date of our consultation.
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and another employee came on time and worked about six hours without stopping until the job was done. They were extremely professional and courteous. It's obvious that
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
is very careful about making sure the installation is done correctly. The carpet is beautiful and the installation looks perfect.
We're currently finishing our basement and definintely plan on calling this company back in when we're ready to do the carpeting.

"The design associate,
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, with
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, came to the house, measured the entire house for carpet, gave me a bunch of samples to look at, and gave me her professional opinion on the types of carpets that would last the longest and gave me options on pricing and which carpet would give me the best bang for my buck. I made the selection of carpet, scheduled the appointment for the day I wanted them to come out. They installer called me 20 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He installed all the carpet, vacuumed, cleaned up really nice after himself, and also there was enough carpet left over that he installed carpet on the stairwell at no extra charge. The thing I like the most about
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
is that the gave me options, the installer was punctual and communicative and did great work and cleaned up well.

"I picked this vendor because of all the positive reviews on Angie's List. I wanted to have that "wood look" porcelain tile installed. This was a very big job. They first had to rip up two old layers of flooring (vinyl and laminate) and then
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
down a new wonderboard sub-floor. My house is about 25 years old and has "settled" over the years so my floor is not very even. They had to make allowances for that before laying the tile. To further complicate the job, I wanted a 1/8" grout, which is very thin. It took them 4 days to complete the project. They were very professional, calling every morning before they arrived and cleaning up after themselves. I plan to have my second floor carpet removed and hardwoods installed in the next year or so and I will definitely use
Cincinnati Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
for that job.
