Cincinnati Cardiologists Reviews

"Dr.
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
is extremely professional and caring. He takes time to really listen to his patients and to consider their needs and what they are saying about their symtoms. He did not discount the patient's concerns about medication causing extreme sideeffects and worked very hard to find ways to get things stable without causing more physical distress. Dr.
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
is diligent about a person's heart health without causing problems related to side effects. He is encouraging about treatment, progress and consequently we felt confident about following instructions. In a few cases where we called with concerns, he responded quickly and patiently. Dr.

"Dr

is really good. She is prompt, professional, and polite. I always feel comfortable around her, and she truly cares about her patients. For example, she gave me her home number when I was going through difficulties with my medication. "

"Two years ago, I had an EKG that was abnormal, but I was told it was probably just the EKG machine. I was never symptomatic, but when the abnormality showed up again, it was recommended that I get it checked out. I was able to schedule my appointment within the week. Dr.
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
explained that the only way to know if my "normal" was this abnormal pattern, was with an stress-echo test. They were able to perform the test during my visit, which confirmed that this was indeed my normal EKG. He sent a letter to my PCP, and copies to me to carry with me. I was grateful to be able to clear this up so quickly and appreciated the thorough explanation Dr.
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
provided. I found him personable and willing to spend time to answer my questions and address my concerns. The staff who conducted the test were also very kind and helpful.

"During my initial office visit he spent the time that was need to evaluate my condition and explained what I could expect. He was efficient during the procedure and explained to me what I was seeing on the monitor. Following the surgery he described what he found and what was done (his partner did the actual procedure to insert the

a picture of the heart showing what was done. I was extremely pleased with his bedside manner and throughout he made me feel at ease during a tenuous time.

"He is never too busy to sit and talk with you and explain things thoroughly. I love that he's a great listener. One time he came to see my husband at the hospital and I was overwhelmed with how personable he is. He is so down to earth and I would highly reccomend him to anybody. His staff is also wonderful. "

"My husband had first heart attack in 1990 and Dr.
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
has been taking care of him ever since. He is a great doctor. If it looks like my husband might be having a problem Dr.
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
always tells him that he either needs to see him or need some kind of procedure done. He is very attentive to his patients. The office environment is also very good. My husband does not like to make appointments so every year when he is supposed to go in to see him his office makes note of it. "

"Dr. Mashney met with me about heart valve deterioration and recommended I have an echocardiogram. He told me he would call with results (comparison with previous echo) and recommendations about medication. I scheduled the echo (October 13) and had blood drawn (Octoboer 12) to check cholesterol. After 3 weeks I called his office b/c I had heard nothing. The receptionist was patronizing--she called me "

" three times and explained "these things take time." A few days later a staff member called and told me the test was "normal" but I had regurgitation during the test. I was shocked! How could my heart be normal when I'd been seeing another cardiologist in Mashney's practice for 3 years to monitor the aortic stenosis (that doctor moved to Boston). She could not explain the significance of the regurgitation and told me there had been no previous echo. When I persisted with questions and the desire to have Dr. Mashney call me, as he had promised, she said she would give him the message. A week passed so I called again and left a message for him to call. The same staff member called and said the blood test results had not been received and Dr. M. would call when they were received. I found this odd since the results had been sent to my primary care doctor and his office called me 2 days after the test. Nearly a month had now passed. On November 11 the staff member called and told me she would send me a prescription for a cholesterol drug. I am now left with lots of questions about my heart condition and a doctor who doesn't seem inclined to follow through with a phone call as HE suggested he would do.

"I met him when I went to the hospital for an emergency. He was reassuring. He checked up on me each day when I was in the hospital. When I went in for the follow up visit, he was happy to see me. He was receptive on my concerns, and issues. He is a positive individual. He is professional, responsive, and the quality of work is good. My overall experience with him has been good."

"He is excellent. He answers my questions and takes his time with me. The hospital nurses were great and everyone is highly professional. There was an issue with a question I had because they couldn't answer it to my satisfaction. I wouldn't let them do it until I understood why they were doing it that way. I spoke to Dr
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
on the phone and he clearly explained it to me and made sure I understood the aspects."

"Dr.
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
is my hero. Last year my husband nearly died when he developed an infection around his heart. It happened quickly and without warning, to an otherwise healthy man! Dr.
Cincinnati Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
was my father-in-law's heart doctor, so we called him right away when my husband got sick. He usually practices at a different hospital, but came immediately to where my husband was admitted, ordered tests, diagnosed him and started treatment right away. He's so kind, he takes time to explain things to you in terms you can understand, and he's extremely bright and knowledgeable. He's an awesome cardiologist."
