were prompt, courteous, and careful in their work. They took every precaution in preparing the kitchen so the counters, floor and wall were protected. I welcomed their suggestions to make our cabinets look like new. We are very pleased with their work and the look of our kitchen. I would definitely hire them again for other wood renewal projects.
"Our experience with
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was excellent – from the first contact to their final post-project check-in visit.
SALES PROCESS: We had our first, in-house meeting with the company president on 8/20/13, about a week after our first phone call. We received a very detailed, line item estimate just 3 days later, including clear descriptions and pricing for each of the additional options we discussed and estimate project length of 4 days. That’s right – not 4 weeks – but 4 days. They were extremely responsive to the various follow-up questions and additional options we asked to consider following the initial quote – responding to 4 separate emails within a 24 hour period. We made our final selections and agreed to move forward just one day later, on 8/24/13. Then, just 7 days later (and that includes the time it took to coordinate with our crazy schedules), he had his production team here to complete a very DETAILED and DOUBLE-CHECKED measurement of each and every panel, opening, door, drawer, etc. in our kitchen. They also spent time talking to us about the preferred (but not required) sequence of other work we were having done on the kitchen (e.g., floors, appliances, countertops) so that we could easily communicate and coordinate with all of the other vendors. They were already demonstrating their desire and ability to make the process and smooth and seamless for us aspossible. (Worth noting, they also offer to coordinate countertop selection and installation as part of their service. But, we had already made that purchase through an existing relationship with another vendor.) Given the quality and detail of this work, it’s not surprising they were here for about 90 minutes during this appointment. At the end, we were informed that our project could start on 9/30/13 and end on 10/3/13. How exciting!
SELECTIONS AND PRE-WORK: The doors/drawers are a solid maple, high quality construction. And, if you visit their website or showroom, you’ll see that they offer many different door and drawer profiles and colors. They brought a number of samples for me to look at during the first sales meeting and measurement meeting. They also have a showroom you can visit to look at what seems like infinite options. But, since we had a pretty clear vision of color and desired profile, it made it more manageable to make our selections through a few “house calls.” Where they went above and beyond was when I started having second guesses about the shade of paint I initially selected – especially once our new appliances and floors were installed.

my concern, they didn’t hesitate to schedule time to bring by every version of white/off-white sample they had for me to view with my new kitchen features so that I would feel completely confident with my choice. About a week and a half before the project started, we got a detailed email confirming the work, outlining what we needed to do to prep for their arrival (what needed to be out of the kitchen, what could stay, etc.) and explaining what we could expect over the course of the 4 day project. They called the day before to reconfirm everything and see if we had any questions. We were good to go.
THE WORK: Each day started bewteen 8-9an and ended between 3:30-4:30pm. On the first day they needed us to be there to go over paperwork and a pre-work inspection for about 15 minutes once they arrived. They were very clear about what to expect over the 4 days in terms of noise, access to the kitchen and even specific appliances, their hours, and what the kitchen would look like at the end of each day. I call it a “no surprises” work environment and they did that very well. I work from home most of the time – on the computer, on phone calls, etc. – and found I was able to work from my basement den – which sits directly under the kitchen – without any major interruption at all. I was even able to make my lunch in the kitchen 2 of the 4 days they were here. I probably could have done it the other 2, but honestly didn’t want to bother the work. Each night, we had access to our refrigerator and pantry. But our sink, dishwasher, microwave and oven remained fully masked on the other evenings. We knew that going in and planned our dinner meals accordingly. Our kitchen was sealed off from the house with plastic sheeting that could be pulled back easily (with a
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
magnet feature) at night. They installed a temporary exhaust fan in our kitchen window to help keep dust and the odor to a minimum. We were amazed at how little got through the plastic enclosure. We were able to check-in on the work each day and were pleased with the progress. Each morning we went over any questions we had and they were very responsive and wanted us to be completely happy with the work. On the final day, there wasn’t anything we had on our punch list that they hadn’t already handled or had on their list to complete/fix. When all was complete, our kitchen was clean and nothing had any damage or overspray – floors, counters, appliances, walls were all in great shape. They provided a thorough closing review with details about the warranty, suggested care and maintenance, etc. Their customer-friendly attitude was there from minute one and never wavered.
THE RESULT: We’re blown away and could not be happier with the result. We’re convinced the finished product looks
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and more beautiful than if we had torn out our old cabinets and replaced with new. The optional upgrades we selected (listed above) really took our kitchen to the next level. As far as we’re concerned, we got an incredible value for the dollars spent.
"When I first contacted CCR,
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
came out and gave us an estimate. We decided to go ahead with the project and
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
, owner of CCR, came out and confirmed
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
's measurements. We had to wait about 6 months to get on his schedule because this was a fairly extensive job, but he called a couple of weeks before he was scheduled to start, confirmed that we were still expecting him on the scheduled date. Three days before the start date, he called to remind us that he was coming and that we needed to empty the cabinets. He and
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
arrived promptly and went right to work. The job took 5 days and we could not be more pleased with the results. Our kitchen (which had white cabinets) now has cherry cabinets and they are gorgeous. The original cabinets did not go all the way to the ceiling and when I commented that I wish they did because the tops were just dust catchers,
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
said they could build a box to go to the ceiling. Then
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
suggested that he put doors on that box and put glass fronts so the tall cabinets could be used for display. I really appreciated their suggestions because I hadn't thought about those possibilities. They cleaned up after themselves every day and left the kitchen in a condition that allowed me to cook meals without too much disruption. I can give
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
Refinishing my highest recommendation.
"Consultation in the beginning went very well. All salespersons are very professional. Very extensive choice of finishes and counter tops. We ended up spending more than we would have liked to, but it's worth it. It took a few weeks for them to get the materials together and get started. All employees are very professional, courteous and conscious of your time and personal space. Once the
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
started, I was amazed. I couldn't believe that they made my shabby old cabinets look that great. Everything was timed out perfectly on the installation, all employees/subcontractors showed up when they were supposed to. Everything has turned out amazing. I only have a couple of issues with the work completed at my residence.
1. Cabinets to surround the refrigerator were mis-measured by 1 foot. They tried to sell me on a workable solution that was not what I had agreed to. It took some negotiation to get what was promised. I think maybe they were very busy/overbooked. All worked out in the end and looks great.
2. Be very clear with them if they are to hook up any appliances or if you are to do it your self. I thought that they would be mounting my microwave and ended up doing it myself. Same with the dishwasher.
All in all, they are great contractors that perform fabulous work with good looking results.
"I sent them an email using their web site, and I got no response. I then called and left a message requesting a quote, and again got no response. I guess they have more work than they need."
"They were excellent in every aspect. I am very happy with the work that they did and I have a very large kitchen. From sales to installation, they were respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. We have recommended them to family and friends."
"Overall it was a really good experience.
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
, the owner, was very helpful initially in helping us pick out our options of cabinet style, color and hardware. They told us it would be 4 days, and they were completely finished in that time frame. The team that did the work were punctual, professional and pleasant. They completely masked off the kitchen from the rest of our house so that the dust did not go everywhere. They also protected all our existing appliances, countertop and backsplash while the work was being completed. Afterwards they cleaned up completely leaving us a beautiful, unrecognizable kitchen!"
"It was great I was very pleased their work. They were very attentive to detail and accommodated to our satisfaction. "
"I hired
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
to paint the interior of my house. Before reading further, an important fact that you may like...the price. I compared
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
to 4 other painting companies (3 currently on Angie's List with A ratings), he had more competitive prices that all on Angie's list by far, one half in some cases.

The job that hired him for included painting a total of 6 rooms + ceilings + hallways. They did a FANTASTIC job (in multiple aspects)! He was honest from the beginning which was very much appreciated and very solid on his initial quote. He had to increase the price only because I added additional jobs to that of the original request. He and his crew finished the entire project in 1-2 days and left without a
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and the work was great. He was happy to address small touch ups caused by damage from the move. He replaced ceiling lights for me and added no additional fee to do so.

Not only that, but
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
(the owner) was there at all jobs and he has experience performing handyman jobs as well. I had him and his crew perform various jobs including: resealing exterior windows, installing overhead ceiling lighting, replacing doors & locks, installing exterior mailbox, sealing my basement, and more! He will readily tell you if he does not feel comfortable with job and when you should seek a certified professional. My example was with some electrical work that he thought should be addressed and was out of his realm of expertise. From my experience so far, he was easier to get in touch with and have here than a true handyman, cheaper than a true handyman, and quality of work just as good if not better. I highly recommend
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and have since hired him again for two additional projects which have turned out nicely
"The painters and the handyman,
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
were always on time, always courteous and very nice. I actually missed them when they left. They worked around my Mom and I's schedule.
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
chose items for me since I didn't have time to go to the store, excellent taste. Now my house looks like brand new. They did a fantastic job in every way. I would highly recommend them. The owner,
Cincinnati Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
is a family man, brought his young 9 or 10 year old daughter along the first time I met him. Excellent guy, and I kept adding tasks along the way for them to do, and they had no problem with any of it. I even asked them after painting all day, to change the color, and asked them to choose a better color, and they did, it was perfect. They all had excellent attitudes, great personalities.
