"The job went just like Cincy Foundation said it would. Nice and smooth the guys were ontime and did not let up till the job was done. Man!!!!! thos guys are the hardest workes i have ever seen. This operation has the most ethics out of all the companies i have interviewed. I would not worry about going with Cincy foundation. The price may have been high but good and cheap does not go hand in hand. I wanted to see how the waterproofing held up after all of the rain we have had and i am happy to report that my basement is bone dry. Thanks guys .... "

"They were great. They were very professional and the people that gave the quote and did the work were nice and accommodating. One person sealed up one of the wrong cracks so he apologized profusely, sealed up the right crack, and didn?t charge us extra. Also, he saw a crack that the estimator missed but he did it and charged us a minimal fee. He was very accommodating. It was a crazy day but he did his best and he was a really nice guy. I would recommend them to anyone."

Cincinnati Waterproofing Contractors Reviews

"I don't have enough time or space to share all of the ridiculous antics this company tried on us. We had a leak in our finished basement and called because we had heard good things about them from their radio spokesman.
The office call center was responsive and professional. The sales visit was at night (8:30 pm) when it was dark out, which we thought odd given that we thought the representative would want to review the outer foundation when he could actually see it. Their guy was late, but did call to inform us.
Now it gets interesting: from arrived when it was DARK. We asked him immediately if wanted to survey the outside foundation because we suspected a visible crack in the foundation might be the culprit. He didn't even want to look at it and asked to look inside the basement.
He then began taking pictures of the basement floor, beams, and walls inside the basement, and checking the area with a moisture meter that went bizerk wherever he placed it. He ripped up the carpet in one area not even close to the leak (with our permission) and didn't even attempt to it back into it's place. He asked questions like, "do you ever see spiders or mice?" "Anyone have headaches or allergies?" Do you see this white stuff on the concrete?" These questions all come in to play later in the presentation when he describes the effects of moisture, mold, and pressure, and how the system solves it all. (Oh, but we do live in the woods (spiders and mice), it's spring (allergies) and the white stuff was already identified by our home inspector when we bought the house).
Anyway, after this, we went upstairs where he uncorks a mold meter and holds it in our . While he begins his 2.5 hour presention, the mold meter became eerily dark purple. I asked him exactly what this measure indicates; his reply, "that's bad, that's bad" but would not elaborate further. He also got out a portable printer and began printing the pictures of our basement that he took (which look like crime scene photos when they print out).
By 11:30 at night, I asked him to please skip to the end of this presention and just give us a cost. To my surprise, he refused! "Just let me finish this up," he said. It was as though he were a robot and could not deviate from the canned presentation or he would blow up.
I also asked him for references with a name and phone number so that I could ask about others' experience from beginning to end and follow up -- he said he could not provide me with any. What? At the beginning of the presentation he told me they have repaired thousands of basements in our area. Surely someone other than a famous radio personality has had a positive experience they might wish to share with me.
After finishing his presentation he offered us $26,000 to fix the basement. I asked him to break that out so that I can understand the costs: labor, materials, equipment, etc. He refused saying the quote is simply based on square footage of my basement.
By the end of the evening he had reduced his price from $26K to $23K to $21K if we agreed to be on "standby" (another tactic you can read about on google reviews of this company). He also was insistent that we borrow money from our equity line to pay for his product! We don't borrow money, and we don't make $26,000 decisions on the spot!
The bottom line is, 's representative never told us the cause of our basement leak. He only used canned sales material applied to our basement to arrive at his over-the-top solution. And along the way, he used fear tactics. BTW .. It was 11:45 pm when he left. We are so glad we did not hire this company for our particular basement issue."

" , the owner, was great to work with. He and his work crew are very knowledgeable and extremely professional. Fixing this problem was a major undertaking and and his crew did a wonderful job. They took photos before beginning and throughout the project. Afterwards, presented me with a DVD of those photos to show to any potential buyer of my home. continues to call and make sure that no additional problems have occurred. In addition to this work, I hired to replace several of my windows. They did it with the same knowledgeable and professional manner that I've come to expect from and his crew."

"I thought it went well but only three months after the work was done the basement started to leak again. I have not been able to reach the company at any of the numbers listed for them. (513) 752-3318 or 923-1122. I get a recording saying the number cannot be reached as dialed or is being checked for trouble."

"The staff were very friendly and responsive. An estimate for the repair was provided promptly, and the repair was also scheduled promptly. Although the installation technicians showed up about an hour or so later than expected, the installation only took a couple of hours. A warranty for the work quickly arrived in the mail after the work was completed."

" 's rep showed up on time, but within two minutes I felt uncomfortable. Once in the basement, he examined the leaks from the foundation and performed what appeared to be a well rehearsed skit which (apart from the scare tactics) was eminently worthy of SNL.
If sends this man to your place, be prepared to be blinded by "science". For some reason, he needed to photograph most of the leaks. Then he pulled out a sort of hand-held moisture meter and showed me how the needle went bananas whenever he placed the device on the foundation. Near the end of the performance he reported some ominous inward movement along a foundation wall that anyone can see is essentially vertical and stable.
Moving upstairs, he insisted that I listen to a "45-minute" presentation before he could give me a written estimate. When I declined politely and asked that he (instead) prepare an estimate and send it to me, he left. More than a week later, no estimate had arrived, so I phoned , explained the situation and (again) asked that a cost estimate be mailed to me. None ever arrived and I have since had the basement waterproofed by another contractor.
For all I know, does fantastic work for the lowest price imaginable, but after my dismal experience with this company I certainly wouldn't bet on it."

"They were great! Both and the owner of the company stopped by that morning to go over the work to be done. The crew were very nice guys and they did a wonderful job. They did this whole job in one day, working from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. First they moved stuff out of the way in my basement--- and there was a lot! warned me that it was going to be noisy while they broke up the cement floor, so I went out for breakfast and they were almost done when I got back. The guys used the displaced soil from the front trench to fill a low spot in my yard and put grass seed & straw on it. They cleaned up after themselves and even hosed off my driveway. "

"We live in an old house in which water sometimes enters the basement. The representative from was prompt and friendly and took alot of time to answer our many questions and explain various solutions. We were very pleased and felt confidant we were given good information"

"I called because they are pretty popular. They were punctual and friendly, but considering it was the salesmen that were sent out they didn't really seem to be able to answer questions as well as I'd like. They just kept giving analogies that didn't make sense given the actual problem in my basement (seepage) and I felt like I was being patronized. On top of that, they were by far the most expensive. Plus, rather than giving the best price in the first place, they wasted my time and gave a made-up story about a "new" price reduction and sent another salesman out to my house on a different day. Would not recommend. "
